Getting error while Configure WS policies in JDeveloper 11.1.1.6
Hi All,
I am getting this error in JDeveloper IDE for SOA. In the SOA composite I have Web Services--->mediator--->DB Adapter. Next I try and right on the web service component in the composite.xml and select 'Configure WS Policies', I get this below error.
SEVERE: The policy manager repository path "C:\Documents%20and%20Settings\jack\Application%20Data\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.6.38.61.92\DefaultDomain\oracle\store\gmds" does not contain any valid directories.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: WSM-04694 : An invalid directory was provided to connect to a file-base MDS repository.
I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6 on Windows XP. I google it in one blog it suggest it's due to space in folder name, but still waiting for a resolution. Did anyone have similiar issues and managed to resolve it.
Thanks
Terry,
It seems like a SSL issue related to the certificate. Can you make sure that certificate being presented by the server (hosting URL https://ip address:port no/integration/services/b2b/B2BMetadataWSPort) is valid and you have complete cert chain in the keystore of SOA server?

Hi,
I have installed Oracle Unified Directory 11.1.2.2.0 and WebSphere Application Server 7 with Fix Pack 37.
I am getting error while configuring WAS 7 Fix Pack 37 (7.0.0.37) with Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.0). While adding products to cell (Oracle Directory Services Manager for WebSphere - 11.1.2.2.0), I am getting below error:
CFGFWK-64069: The following prerequisites were found to be missing: Oracle WebCenter Composer Extension - 11.1.1.0
Also attached the screenshot of the error.
Please help.
Thanks,
Himanshu VermaHello,
ODSM has the following dependencies apart from ADF (both components depend also on ADF):
- UIShell (oracle.idm.uishell.war)
- Webcenter Composer (oracle.webcenter.composer.war).
Apparently the composer is missing.
Important points to check when using ODSM with WAS:
- To install and configure Oracle Fusion Middleware with IBM WebSphere, you must first install (but not configure) IBM WebSphere
- You must install the Oracle Application Development Framework as the same user who installed Oracle Unified Directory.
- appdev must be installed under the same ORACLE_HOME as OUD

PLs help meUser, please tell us your jdev version!
Somehow your credentials are corrupted. Two possible solution:
1) open your system11.1.1.xxxx folder open the DefaultDomain\servers\DefaultServer\security folder and edit the boot.properties file. Remove the '(AES)...' part after username and password and write the new ones e.g. username=weblogic', password='Welcome1'. Save the file and try to start the integrated server again. Once the server starts the entries are encoded again.
2) if 1) does not work, remove the whole DefaultDomain folder and create a new WLS instance inside jdev.

I tried re-installing OCEP server, but still the problem persists. Please help me on this.

Thanks,Looks like that there is something wrong with the authentication repository that you created with your LDAP connection.
Connection might be successful but for authentication, you need to create an authentication repository with that connection.
Follow the OEG user guide for this and reply v=back in case you get further issues. -
Getting error while Configuring NWA for PI 7.1
Hello All,
I'm presently working on PI 7.1, trying to configure /nwapi and for that purpose, implementing note # Note 1160261 - NWA for PI: Incomplete Component Tree.
I'm presently in step # 5 for running Template Installer step -Configuring the Central NWA and getting error "Validation Error: Failed to retrieve CCMS Agents."
To sort out, i did install CCMS agents for both ABAP & Java stack keeping Solution manager as my central system, although my both agents are running fine, still i'm getting this error, due to which i'm not able to proceed ahead. Please help me, if anyone has come across the same & wat should be the path forward for it.
Eagerly waiting for some inputs...
Thanks,
Anand.Hi Anand,
When configuring NWA for PI, it wants the PI system as CEN. So you have to register the CCMS agents at the PI system.
With kind regards,
Henk.
Sorry for the same remark twice. The Expert Forums were experiencing a little hickup, I suppose...

Getting error while deploying woodstock project in jdeveloper

At last I deployed woodstock project in tomcat server and it is working fine but when I am trying to deploy it in jdeveloper I am getting lot of errors like

Can any one tell me do I need to copy jar files some where else??or do I need to change any thing,
I am using oc4j app server...
Thanks.Assuming you are using the Sun RI, you may want to ask on the users mailing list (or search through the archives). I don't recall the specifics but there have been threads specifically addressing OC4J.

Shell Script Adapter - getting errors while configuring
Hi,
I am trying to configure a shell script adapter for one of my AIX resource.
the following are the values I gave to test the configuration
1. host
2. tcp port (22)
3. login user
4. password
5. login shell prompt (#)
6. connection type SSH
with these values, I tried to test the configuration, I get the following errors,
Test connection failed for resource(s):
Shell Script: Failed to find 'useradd' in the path '/usr/bin /etc /usr/sbin /usr/ucb /home/eumusr/bin /usr/bin/X11 /sbin . /usr/local/bin' Shell Script: Failed to find 'usermod' in the path '/usr/bin /etc /usr/sbin /usr/ucb /home/eumusr/bin /usr/bin/X11 /sbin . /usr/local/bin' Shell Script: Failed to find 'userdel' in the path '/usr/bin /etc /usr/sbin /usr/ucb /home/eumusr/bin /usr/bin/X11 /sbin . /usr/local/bin' Shell Script: Failed to find 'groupadd' in the path '/usr/bin /etc /usr/sbin /usr/ucb /home/eumusr/bin /usr/bin/X11 /sbin . /usr/local/bin' Shell Script: Failed to find 'groupmod' in the path '/usr/bin /etc /usr/sbin /usr/ucb /home/eumusr/bin /usr/bin/X11 /sbin . /usr/local/bin' Shell Script: Failed to find 'groupdel' in the path '/usr/bin /etc /usr/sbin /usr/ucb /home/eumusr/bin /usr/bin/X11 /sbin . /usr/local/bin'
is this a privilege issue?
please let me know so that I can get the appropriate privilege from my sysadm to proceed further.
thanks.Hi, thanks for your response.
I got sudo access as root to the AIX resource.
Initially, NOPASSWD was set for my sudo privilege. using that I tried configuring the adapter, but I got errors like "Script failed waiting for "ASSWORD:" in response ",)#+(:" . I looked at the forums and was informed that I would need to 'UN-SET' the NOPASSWD attribute. I got that attribute un-set . but now I get the error
WLP_SmartScript_Original: Failed to find 'groupadd' in the path '/usr/bin /etc /usr/sbin /usr/ucb /home/eumusr/bin /usr/bin/X11 /sbin . /usr/local/bin' WLP_SmartScript_Original: Failed to find 'groupmod' in the path '/usr/bin /etc /usr/sbin /usr/ucb /home/eumusr/bin /usr/bin/X11 /sbin . /usr/local/bin' WLP_SmartScript_Original: Failed to find 'groupdel' in the path '/usr/bin /etc /usr/sbin /usr/ucb /home/eumusr/bin /usr/bin/X11 /sbin . /usr/local/bin'
Not sure why Sun should check this. these commands are not part of AIX. right? can you please tell me where I am going wrong? -

Getting error while configuring DbAdapter connection pool
I have SOA Suite 11g (11.1.1.5.0) installed.
I have created a Data Source (soademoDatabase) in WLS Admin console, as per instructions in Oracle Tutorial.
Then I created a connection pool for DbAdapter.
However when I tried to update the DbAdapter to 'Redeploy this application', I got following error:
weblogic.descriptor.BeanAlreadyExistsException: Bean already exists: "weblogic.j2ee.descriptor.wl.ConnectionInstanceBeanImpl@a0965ff7(//
[javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory]/ConnectionInstances[eis/DB/soademoDatabase])"
After this, when I restarted Admin and Managed servers, DbAdapter is failing to start. Following error is shown in the log:
[4] The ra.xml <connectionfactory-impl-class> class 'oracle.tip.adapter.apps.AppsConnectionFactory' could not be loaded from the resource adapter archive/application because of the following error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/tip/adapter/db/DBConnectionFactory

MohanThis is a common error people get when configuring Repository Service in Admin Console...
Main reason for this is that there is an incompatible bit versions of Oracle Database and Informatica Server and windows. Try to reinstall Oracle DB or Infa Server and tryconfiguring the same it will work
Or it could be parameter issues if it is linux...
