Thank you dvohra21,
I followed Gayaz solution and it worked on my jdev11.2.3
1. Modified the TEMP and TMP env var from "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp" to "c:\temp".
We should created the temp folder in c directry if it does not exist.
2. Created two more env variables
(a) JDEV_USER_HOME
(b) JDEV_USER_DIR
and it is pointing to "C:\jdevhome".
We should created the jdevhome folder in c directry if it does not exist.
Finally what I observed is these four variable should point to a folder path where it should not contain spaces in the folders name.

Getting error while running standalone Java application related to Workflow
Hi,
I am using the following code

import oracle.bpel.services.workflow.client.WorkflowServiceClientFactory;
import oracle.bpel.services.workflow.verification.IWorkflowContext;

public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception{
System.out.println("Classpath: "+System.getProperty("java.class.path","."));
String userId = "jcooper";
String password = "welcome1";
String taskId = "";
IWorkflowServiceClient wfSvcClient = WorkflowServiceClientFactory.getWorkflowServiceClient(WorkflowServiceClientFactory.JAVA_CLIENT);
IWorkflowContext wfCtx = wfSvcClient.getTaskQueryService().authenticate(userId,password,oracle.tip.pc.services.identity.config.ISConfiguration.getDefaultRealmName(),null);
Task task = wfSvcClient.getTaskQueryService().getTaskDetailsById(wfCtx,taskId);
List assigneeUsers = task.getSystemAttributes().getAssigneeUsers();
List assigneeGroups = task.getSystemAttributes().getAssigneeGroups();
if ((assigneeUsers != null && assigneeUsers.size() > 1)
|| (assigneeGroups != null && assigneeGroups.size() > 0))
task = wfSvcClient.getTaskService().acquireTask(wfCtx, taskId);
task = wfSvcClient.getTaskService().updateTaskOutcome(wfCtx, task, "Approve");
I have added wf_client_config.xml, wf_config.xml,is_config.xml to the classpath. While executing this java code, i am getting the following error
<XMLAuthenticationService::authenticateUser> XMLAuthenticationService:: call authenticate

Kindly help me out.
Thanks,
GomathiHi,
I am not using OID. I am using only JAZN. I copied is_config.xml and wf_config.xml to classes folder where i am running standalone application and also i referred this to the classpath. Kindly do the needful.. I am struggling with this issue for past 3 days.
Another thing is if i am giving the user name as "jcooper" it is throwing the error. If i give "oc4jadmin", then the issue resolved.
kindly tell me what should i do inorder to login as jcooper instead of oc4jadmin
Thanks,
Gomathi

Getting error while running SSRS report in SharePoint 2010
Hi,
I am getting below error while running a SSRS reports in SharePoint. Your help will be appreciated
Webpage error details
User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)
Timestamp: Wed, 5 Nov 2014 11:58:42 UTC
Message: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occurred while processing the request on the server. The status code returned from the server was: 503
Line: 5
Char: 62123
Code: 0
Thanks,
ManjunathHi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you get error while running SSRS reports.
Basically, If the Request Management service is enabled, it manages all incoming requests by evaluating logic rules against the user requests in order to determine what\which action to take and which machine or machines (targets) in the farm should handle
the request.
By default the Request time out value for Request Management service are as follows,
RequestTimeout : 00:01:40
RequestExecutionTimeout : 01:00:00
So the error throws from RM service for those reports who take more than 1 minute to generate the report.
To solve this issue, we can stop the Request Management service.
Or increase the time out
value by making use of following PowerShell script.
$waUrl = "URLofWEbApp"
$wa = Get-SPWebApplication $waUrl
$rmSettings = $wa | Get-SPRequestManagementSettings
$req=$wa.RequestManagementSettings
$timeout2= New-TimeSpan -minutes 5
Sreq.Requesttimeout=$timeout2
$req.update()
For more information:

Thanks
SaurabhHi saurabh
I too faced the similiar issue
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Application: FND, Message Name: FND-INVALID APPLICATION. Tokens: APPL = ak; (Could not lookup message because there is no database connection)
RESOLUTION:- Ensure that your profile option "FND: Debug Log Enabled" is set to No both at your site level and also at your user level. To be on the safer side, set your Diagnostis profile to No too
PS:- I didn't remove backslashes from my dbc file. But you may consider that as an option too.

Hi ,
I have some hands on developing the process. So I started creating one custom activity.
I created one activity which takes inputs and gives a string after some calculation. But program requires some additional jar files which are included as lib folder in my java project.
I exported java project as jar file and installed successfully in the workbench. But while starting the component .. getting error like ::

Please find full description of the error in the attachment. Hope LC is not taking added jars in the lib.
Because of this error i am not able to go forward.
Do I need to add/include the necessary jars into LC ? .
Please guide me how to resolve this error.
Waiting for your answer.
Thanks
PraveenPutting the jar in the appserver's lib folder is one way to have the class found at runtime, but not all sites will allow you to do this because you just made it available to everything running on the appserver. Plus, now as you move your dsc around from test to staging to production, you have to remember to move the jar as well.
The alternative is to include the jar in your DSC and reference it in the classpath node in the component.xml file.
Just checkout how the distributed DSCs do it (adobe-remoteevents-dsc shows 2 jars in the root of the package and both are referenced in the component.xml's classpath.

Nikhil.What is your Oracle version? environment? operating system?
How was the perfstat schema created?
If you have access to Metalink, there are a lot of documents which address similar issues for various versions of Oracle. -
