Hi,
What is the program name? Is this a standard program? Please share the details.
The 345th line of the oracle.apps.xdo.dataengine.DataTemplateParser file is the cause of the error. Looks like somewhere you are passing nulls. Make sure provided all the required parmeters and done all the required setups.

did u check view xml in diagnostic tab after submitting the request.
if ur xml file is generated(xml data file), then its a problem with your template.

Error while registering the Concurrent Program

Hi,
I am getting the following error while registering the concurrent program.
The executable is registered as shell script and this executable sends a mail with attachment. can any one of you tell me the cause of the error?

I am working on EBS 11i and database 9i. When i am trying to copy the existing concurrent program,it's giving below error.
Error: Please enter a unique segment name, the segment name is already defined for other segment.

I get errors When running the example programs SampleMetadataDiscoverer10g

I installed database is 10g release 2 on Windows XP,and AWM version is 102010A.

I got the same error while doing "dp.initialize()"
I fixed this error by chang the the "olap_api.jar class12.jar" to "o4j.jar".
But i can't explain that.
Can anyone tell me why?
By the way , the "olap_api.jar class12.jar" are copy from the %ORACLE_HOME%\10.2.0\db_1\olap\api\lib .

here i have mentioned the steps which i followed for creating agent service.
i have two machine namely A and B both having the ODI
i am going to use the B machine as a centralized server. so i edited the odiparams.bat file in B machine in ODI locaiton and filled the repository information
from A machine i opened the Topology and created the Agent service there i mentioned the HOST name as "B" and port number 20300. and i configure the logical agent aswell
from B machine i started the Agent service like agentscheduler "-port=20300".
Agent service launched seccessfully.
From A machine i tested the Agent. that also shown the successful window message.
then i started running the interface using the agent i am getting the error which i have mention in the beginging.
Interface which i ran will do the text file to table loading, so i kept that file in particular location in B machine( i have configure this location when i created the file data store in topology in A machine).
Please help me to solve the problem...

Error while running a concurrent program.

Hi All,
I have written a plsql procedure and registered it with apps. When i run the program it is giving
FDPSTP failed due to ORA-20100: File l0137058.tmp creation for FND_FILE failed.
You will find more information on the cause of the error in request log.
I am not able to find out what is the problem with this. When i remove the FND_FILE.PUT_LINE statement from my code and execute it is executing properly without errors. Please suggest me what might be the problem. Also please suggest me where i can find this .tmp file or where i can find the request log.

On the instance where this concurrent program fails to run, please verify the following:
1) Make sure that APPLPTMP is set to a valid directory as shown above (Verify from the OS by issuing "echo $APPLPTMP" as applmgr user)
2) Make sure that both the applmgr user and the database user "oracle" have read/write permissions on $APPLPTMP
3) Make sure that APPLPTMP is the first entry in utl_file_dir (utl_file_dir is set in the init<SID>.ora file). To verify to what "utl_file_dir" is set:
SQL> connect / as sysdba
SQL> show parameter UTL_FILE_DIRPlease go through the first document referenced in my first reply (Note: 261693.1), it should be helpful.

i have sucessfully installed UCM on my machine,
its showing error like " The portal page for your Content Server needs to be rebuilt. Start the WebLayout Editor as a standalone application and select Update Portal... from the Options menu"
i was trying to weblayout editor from start up menu.again showing error.it could not able to load cached tables.
showing error like " unable to start the application weblayout editor.Failed to initialize.unable to create managedLinks':ORA:00955:name is already used by existing object.
i could not open content server.how to disable8.3 file name creation.i could not find out this option while installing UCM.
how to get UCM login page successfully. please explain in detail.
this installation must be done pretty urgent.please help me out. its very very urgent plz guide me .

Error while running the sample program in Oracle CEP

Hi I am New to CEP. I have installed Oracle CEP 11g. I am trying to run the example available in sample folder. I am getting the below error.

I'm gussing you installed OCEP in an existing ORACLE_HOME. You should create a new home otherwise the modules may conflict with other products.

I am using the below error while trying to fetch the username and password of OIM from the credential store:

Or follow the note from oracle to update the system properties to provide access to your code/jar. You need to provide permissions to the jar containing the code which is trying to read values from CSF.
