Getting error While testing Web Service deployed Glassfish using Net beans.
Hi,
I created a web service in netbeans. I deployed it on glassfish server too.
My web service contains one method which return type is Document. Here is my web service class code.
@WebService(serviceName = "DocumentTest")
@Stateless()
public class DocumentTest {
* This is a sample web service operation
@WebMethod(operationName = "hello")
public String hello(@WebParam(name = "name") String txt) {
return "Hello " + txt + " !";
@WebMethod
public Document getDocument(){
Document doc = null;
return doc;
}After Deployment when I m testing the web service I am getting follwoing error on Browser
Error generating artifacts for the following WSDL http://localhost:8093/DocumentTest/DocumentTest?WSDL
Possible causes can be invoking https when the application is not configured for securityI am just testing whether I can send Document object or not.

Jdeveloper WS proxy error while invoking web service deployed on weblogic
Hello experts, can you please help me. I have web service deployed on weblogic server.
I have not set any credential for this web service. I can test the service from SOAPUI without providing any credentials.
Then I generated WS proxy client using Jdeveloper. When I try to run the client, I do not know why I get security execption (shown below) eventhough I have not secured the web service deployed on weblogic server.
java.lang.SecurityException: keyStoreFilename is either null or empty string
at weblogic.wsee.security.util.CertUtils.getCertificate(CertUtils.java:87)
at pilot1.ContactWSPortTypePortClient.getBSTCredentialProvider(ContactWSPortTypePortClient.java:104)
at pilot1.ContactWSPortTypePortClient.setPortCredentialProviderList(ContactWSPortTypePortClient.java:78)
at pilot1.ContactWSPortTypePortClient.main(ContactWSPortTypePortClient.java:46)
Process exited with exit code 0.
Here is my client class :
public static void main(String[] args) {
try {
contactWSService = new ContactWSService();
ContactWSPortType contactWSPortType = contactWSService.getContactWSPortTypePort();
Map<String, Object> requestContext = ((BindingProvider) contactWSPortType).getRequestContext();
setPortCredentialProviderList(requestContext);
// Add your code to call the desired methods.
// QueryPageInputSecondPage qpisp= new QueryPageInputSecondPage(); //I have commented it in order to resolve security issue
System.out.println("Inside the client class");
} catch (Exception ex) {
ex.printStackTrace();
Inside the method setPortCredentialProviderList(), I have not provided any credentials, keystores etc. Because weblogic is not setup with SSL and also I have not set up any authorization or authentication for the web service. I do not know why I am able to test it through SOAPUI and why not using WS proxy.
Appreciate your quick response.
thanks a lot

Connection reset error while calling web service deployed on tomcat
Hello Friends,
I am trying to invoke a web service from web dynpro application. The web service is deployed on tomcat 5.5 server.
I am creating an adaptive web service model using wsdl file. The model gets created without any error.
But when application is deployed and run it is giving following exception:
java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(SocketInputStream.java:168)
at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read1(BufferedInputStream.java:254)
at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read(BufferedInputStream.java:313)
at java.io.BufferedInputStream.fill(BufferedInputStream.java:218)
at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read1(BufferedInputStream.java:256)
... 102 more
I tried to call the service from a simple java application. There the service works fine.
Also, in the web services navigator, if I specify the wsdl url for testing it gives the same error of "Connection reset".
I don't think this is a proxy server issue as the tomcat is within the local network.
Can someone please help me with this?
Thanks and regards,
Mayuresh

Sunil.Hello Sunil
The WS navigator that is for testing the ABAP services is a JAVA
application.
Do you have java stack installed along with your ABAP on this
System?
Is the J2EE running?

we have enabled the wsdl service in SICF and also the APP SOA MANAGER service.
Can anyone please help.
Thanks in advance.

PrinceHi,
Detail: Cannot reach external Application Server on localhost:51000
51000 is the port when the j2ee engine runs. As you dont have java stack am afraid this would not work.

Hi Gurus,
I'm new to web service.
I have created an RFC and a web service to create a pdf. When I try to test the web service, I'm getting an error : "Message Envelope not found. Probably empty soap message." I have tried all the links available in google, but i'm unable to resolve the issue.
Can anyone help me to solve this.
Many thanks in advance.Which version/platform are you using?
The thing you need to consider here is that the JDev proxy settings do not affect the BPEL server.
So if the BPEL server cannot connect to your webservice, it will not be because of any Jdev setting.
Check the proxy settings on your BPEL server (on 10.1.2 developer install it will be in obsetenv.bat, on 10.1.3 it will be a commandline property of the JVM - see AS Control administration page for the JVM) -

XML parser error while testing web service client using jdeveloper 10.1.2.1
hi
I have generated a web service stub/skeleton out of the wsdl file using jdeveloper 10.1.2.1.0. The client will return a complex type result, i.e., it will return an array of elements. When I try to run the client using jdeveloper 10.1.2.10 i am getting the following error:

Cannot Generate a Stub or Skeleton for a WSDL that Uses Certain Types (3912349)
JDeveloper 10.1.2 only understands a subset of all of the complexTypes that can be defined in a WSDL document. For example, if the following appear in the "types" section of the WSDL, any use of those types will cause JDeveloper to generate a reference to UnknownType in a stub or skeleton:
• Restrictions of simpleTypes
• complexTypes which define attributes Does that mean that the jdeveloper will not support complex types?Could anybody tell me how to resolve the above said issue? Is there any patch that i can run to resolve the issue?Can i use the client generated using jdeveloper 11g to import into the oracle forms 10g, i.e., form builder 10g. Currently this is the version we have in our office.

Getting error while calling Web service in PB 12.5
Hi All,
I am trying to call web service through my PB 12.5 but getting error like "Window sdk for .net framework 4.0 was not installed. please install befor use this feature." though I had installed window sdk . net framework 4.0.
one more thing do we required .wsdl file to call web service or only path is ok?
please help me out here.
Thanks,
PralhadHi Pralhad,
From the Application Techniques manual, Building a Web Services Client, it states the following:
The WSDL file for you specify in the wizard or painter must have:
Services/Binding entries
The Targetnamespace
attribute defined in its Schema element
No circular references (an example of a “circular reference” is a structure
that includes itself as a child class member)
If PowerBuilder encounters a problem parsing the WSDL file, it reports the
error in an error message box.
Thank you.

Thanks,
Krutheeka.Hi,
while you setup the webservice you can test the service and get the preview of the resultset. Did that work fine? If that works fine - check if you can simply copy and paste the webservice URL into a browser on the running PC. If you do not get a result in the browser, it is the landscape - if you get a result in your browser but not in the app it is the app.
Well, could you try that step first?

Getting error in cxf web service with spring 3.0.
I developed a web service using cxf. Implemented the client codes to invoke the web service.
The client codes running fine through JUnit test case but whenever I try to invoke the client through another service (after actual UI integration),
its throwing error while initializing the service. I'm using cxf 2.2.7 with spring 3.0

Can someone please help me here, to figure out whats wrong I'm doing or if I' m missing anything which causing this error?
(Thanks in adv).My understanding of exception stack trace is that the two class loader are unable to match the argument type org/springframework/core/io/Resource in original method and its overridden method. And original method class loader and overridden method class loader are different.
This normally happens due to class clashes. -
Error while invoking web services from Proxy services in OSB
I have a Proxy Service of message type in Oracel Service Bus 10gR3 and it passes the incoming messages from a JMS Queue to Business Service of Web Services type. This Web Service is hosted in Glass Fish v3 and it's binding style is RPC. The JRE used in both the servers are 1.6.0_20. The JMS message is of Text type. The Web Services at the Glass Fish throws MessageCreationException for any content of the JMS message. However, it works fine if Business Service's test client is invoked from the OSB'S Admin Console. However, the same will not work if Proxy Service's test client is called.
The detailed exception stack is given below :
Thanks for the help.

at com.sun.xml.ws.encoding.SOAPBindingCodec.decode(SOAPBindingCodec.java:354)Let me explain what I am trying to achieve. Our application receives data from multiple sources - from mainframe using FTP, JMS Queue and BPM application using Web Services. The data from all these sources are sending to a Web Service running in GlassFish V3. To handle this I have created three Proxy Services and one Business Service on OSB. The Business Service is of type Web Service using the same WSDL from the target Web Service.
The Proxy Services are configured as follows:
Proxy 1 (type - Messaging service) listens to the JMS Queue and receives JMS Text Message -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
Proxy 2 (type - Messaging service Polls files from the FTP Server -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
Proxy 3 (type - Web service) is invoked by the BPM application and sends a String -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
All the Proxies route to the same Business Service - B1 which calls the Web Service in GlassFish. The only Proxy that works fine is Proxy 3 which is created using the same WSDL of the Web Service. In the other two proxies it thows the same exception in GlassFish as I mentioned before.
com.sun.xml.ws.protocol.soap.MessageCreationException: Couldn't create SOAP message due to exception: XML reader error: com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxEOFException: Unexpected EOF in prolog at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,0] at com.sun.xml.ws.encoding.SOAPBindingCodec.decode(SOAPBindingCodec.java:359)
Is this configuration correct to achieve my requirements?
Once again thanks for the help.
