can any one tell me why do we get UNEXPECTED_OA_EXCEPTION, in the log when ever certain client creates a PO and the level shown as 6-unexpected

From the posted message, it seems to be this VMWindow.exe is not working well.
VMWindow.exe is the executable that is used for the standard “work with the virtual machine desktop” experience. If you just start this executable by itself it will open the “Virtual Machines” folder. See: Windows

To have it a quick fix, please take a try to reinstall Windows Virtual PC(uninstall via View installed updates Windows Virtual PC (KB958559), restart and then download/install from
here), then mount the Windows XP VHD file,
Virtual Hard Disks (VHDs) in Windows Virtual PC.

Visa error unless logged in as admin

I'm installing a LV program on several computers running Win7. It uses VISA to communicate with three separate instruments. If I'm logged in as admin everything runs perfectly but when anyone without admin rights logs in I keep getting VISA error "resources not found". This seems to be the two serial ports on a card, COM1 which is the on board port is working. I installed this on an identical computer yesterday and did not have this problem.

When you are logged in as the other user, what do the serial ports show up as in Device Manager? What do they look like in MAX?
I wonder if there is a setting, possibly some sort of Windows Group Policy that is locking out serial ports for non-admins.
Is this a real serial port (with DB9 connector) or is this a USB-RS-232 converter which gives a virtual com port? Perhaps if group policy is to disable USB ports for non-admins, it is blocking the converter from working. Just speculating.

Cannot publish get error message - log file not being created

When trying to publish a FlashHelp project, I get an error
message window that says "Publishing has been cancelled. Failed to
create file: (project name).log "
When I click okay in the message window, the publishing
process stops. However, if I look in the SSL folder, I see the log
file. It is a text file.
I had this problem in January 09 but it seemed to be an issue
with the password and path in the FTP command window. I fixed it
and it worked fine. However, I haven't published since the end of
January. Now, when I try to publish, it is giving me the same error
message. I checked and reviewed the FTP window fields and they are
fine. But I'm still getting the error message and can't publish.
Why?
I need to get this problem fixed ASAP and ensure that it
doesn't occur again. What's strange is that I've got 3 other
projects and this is the only 1 that gets this error message.

Yes, the generation worked. I checked the log file that
worked from the time it worked before and it seems to be the same
as the log file that is generated when I get the error message.
I created a new FlashHelp layout and got the same error
message. What's really weird is there is a log file in the SSL
folder but when you click OK in the error message, it stops the
publish function.
Last time I had to blow away the cpd file as if this was a
corrupt project. But that gets to be painful. As I use templates to
put change dates in the footers of topics and templates get lost
when you blow away the cpd.
Any other thoughts?

Help with joining AP to WLC 5508 Getting error in LOG's

I am tryign to join my first AP to the 5508 and am gettign this error int he logs.

The management Interface is on the the same vlan as the AP , both untagged ports. the AP gets an ip address from my dhcp server.

Getting Error when log-out from Portal

Apologies for the late response. I was on vacation.
Following are the steps I followed in creating the database link. (1) Created a public database link using the SYSTEM account [used the clause USING to provide the host information] (2) Created a database link with the name same as above, using the account ACNTAPPS.
After the creation of database links, I created the package in ACNTAPPS schema where some reports are generated using the DBLINK. I also created a PUBLIC synonym for the package and granted EXECUTE privilege to PORTAL30.
Now I started creating portlets using the account PORTAL30. One portlet displays the small report, generated through the above package. Everything works fine. But sometimes when I click on LOG-OUT, I get the above error.
Is there any way I can resolve this error? Any help / hints will be highly appreciated.

Hi Mukesh,
You have to maintain the Prefix numbers in the system, in tcode SWU3 --> maintain definition environment --> Maintain prefix number --- > click on execute button.
There, create a new value for your client(XXX) system to generate the workflow definition / task definition.

Getting error in log after sending https requiest to weblogic server.

Getting Error when running iExpense Workflow

Hi all,
When I am running The Workflow Its giving me one error during start of the Process.
Error is :
ORA-20001: Oracle error -20001: ORA-20001: -: While executing SQL in profile FND_INIT_SQL:begin mo_global.init; end; has been detected in FND_GLOBAL.INITIALIZE.
Can any one give any update why this error will give .
Why this is giving during the start of a process?

This indicates that the SQL statement in the FND_INIT_SQL profile option has possible syntax errors. Pl see if the solution in MOS Doc 274791.1 (While Executing Sql In Profile Fnd_Init_Sql:Begin Mo_Global.Init; Fa_Security.Se ) can help

Wen iam creating Transaparent partition its validating successfully , but wen iam saving it its giving error , partition creation failed

and it s giving error reading ddb file
i tried with maxl also but it continiously running for 30 mints , its horrible , actually it takes 2 mints
how can i resolve this issue, any help would be appriciated

Sounds like there is some sort of ddb file corruption. There are many causes, but the quickest fix I have found is usually a file-based deletion of the ddb file on both the source and target side of this partition. The attempt to create a partition on this database will cause a new ddb file to be created. Of course, this is dangerous. You can't have any other partitions on either the source or target side...or they will be deleted by this step. But the only purpose of the ddb file is for partition definitions, and it exists on both source and target.
I've found this happens if one side of a partition (one of the ddbs from source or target) gets the file deleted, or communication is down between the source database server and target database server.

Problem logging in to admin account on Apex 3.1

I have just upgraded to Apex 3.1 and I'm getting an error when logging on as admin.
After I click log in I get:

I suspect that there is something missing from the images folder.

Did you remember to run the apxldimg.sql script if you're using 11g or XE?

Error after changes in workflow file (.wft)

Hello Friends,
I have got one customization request in workflow notifications and that required changes in standard packages.
I have made custom copies of those with required changes and then opened workflow file in wordpad and replaced the standard package with the custom copy( I guess this is the method to do it , if there is any other pls let me know) in wft file.
But i am getting errors which indicate that workflow is not able to call the custom components. The error is saying that package is invalid but when i checked from backend , the package status is valid.
Is this an issue with access level in workflow?

why open another Task for the same question?
Your question is a little to wide open - unfortunately. As I said in the other blog - have a lock into the general TCP/IP settings. Is standard WWW browsing possible? Can you reach the NWA page from Toughbook?
And as my previous workmatre said - check the log please and send us the relevant part. I expect it says just, host not found or so - so please do the above checks as well. It is not the HArdware as such, it is your configuration and this is problematic to tell with just that one sentence you gave us.
