Getting "Exception" error message when setting up Trusted Contacts

I've been trying to set up Trusted Contacts on my daughter's new Galaxy SIII but every time I try to add them to her line, all I get is a small bullet that says, "Exception" and it won't save anyone I add as a contact.
She has the exact same model as her brother and sisters, and I've been able to set Trusted Contacts for all of them without any problems. As far as I know, her phone is totally updated and she's got the necessary VZ app installed. Suggestions on how to make this work?

    LadySiren, hmm that's odd. Are we setting these trusted numbers up on My Verizon from the computer? Are we putting the full 10-digit mobile or landline numbers in the slots? How many numbers do you have saved in total for trusted numbers? Let me know if it is working out or if you have any other issues. I want to make sure we get this going for you ASAP.

    The Same Network is only needed for the Text Forwarding part of the Messages app on both and the iMessages account's Text Forwarding.
    I understand Blue Tooth is On but have your paired the two devices for Handoff and Continuity ?
    I cannot do this bit on my Mid 2011 iMac so I am a bit lost as to the actual settings.

  • I keep getting and error message when i try to set up a new email in facetime. Has this happened to anyone else?

    My ipod touch and my iphone are both getting imessages and facetime to both devices. I don't want them to get the same messages so I tried to change the email address associated in the ipod, but I keep getting an error message when it tries to verify the email address.
    Help?

    I had sam problem earlier this evening.  I powered off and then back on my iPod and did a wifi sync and then I could use FT amd Messages.

    - turning off security software before the install as Apple suggests

    In your case, if iTunes was working OK for a while and then mysteriously stopped, youve got a virus, I bet. Do the ewido malware scan.

  • Why do I get "generic error" message when trying to upload a self-created, 1hr .wmv file?

    I went through the forums and made sure that any blocks or copywrites weren't triggered by the file, it's clean and can be opened using a media player and other video editing software like windows MovieMaker. I keep getting "The importer reported a generic error" message and have no idea how to proceed. Can someone please help?

    This ARTICLE starts with a checklist on setting up a computer to run PrE best, then goes into a series of links for tuning up one's computer and OS, and then links on troubleshooting.
    There is also a link on posting all necessary info, to help others help you.
    Without knowing much more about your system, it is impossible to say much beyond that WMV's are tough assests to work with, requiring a lot of CPU horsepower.

  • I keep getting an error message when i try to send emails.

    I just got the palm treo 650 on alltel.  didn't realize it was going to be so involved. lol  I got email set up but keep getting an error message when i try to send.  the message is 530 5.7.0 must issue a STARTTLS command first.  What does that mean and how do i fix it?

    Our CEO at our hospital has the exact same problem with this phone, we have been workign with alltel on the problem for quite some time now, and cant seem to find a solution. His can receive emails with no problems but gets an error code 530 when tryng to send an email. But he only gets the error when he is outside of the alltel network. If hes in our hometown then everything works great. Needless to say hes been getting quite irritated with the problem and needs it fixed ASAP. If anyone every figures out a soluting to this problem please let me know.

    I get this error message when I try to email photos using iPhoto: Your email did not go through because the server did not reply. How can I get this to work when my internet is connected?

    Are you able to email from Mail with those two accounts?  If so:
    1 - go to iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete both accounts. Now add them back and try again.
    2 - a better solution IMO is to set Mail as the email client for iPhoto is iPhoto's General preference pane.  This gives you better access to your contacts, a sent copy of all emails and, if you want a layout similar to iPhoto's, photo layouts located in Mail's stationary.

    I keep getting an error message when I enter my password for iCloud IMAP server

    A number of users who have chosen to set up iCloud mail manually in the Mail application seem to encounter problems with continually being asked to sign in. This may well be a result of incorrect settings such as not setting 'Apple Token' for authentication under the accounts advanced settings.
    A more general approach to remedying such problems would be to turn off Mail in System Preferences/Settings > iCloud, checking the account has been removed from Mail (and deleting it if it hasn't), restarting and then enabling iCloud Mail again from System Preferences/Settings > iCloud. This will ensure the correct settings are used.

    Logging in to the neo.rr.com POP server “pop-server.neo.rr.com” failed. Make sure the user name and password you entered are correct, then click Continue. If the information isn’t correct, you cannot receive messages.
    I go to the next steps and everything looks like it should.

    Congratulations on your new MacBook Pro!  I understand how important is to have your email account setup on your new computer. I found a couple of resources that I think might help.
    You can check the Mail Setup Assistant for the server settings for common email providers.  I recommend checking your email settings here first to verify they match what you have in the Mail application:

    If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

    If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
    Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

    I get an error message when I'm trying to save my images.  It reads as follows:
    "Could not save because file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions or another file is using it"
    The file is not locked (I unlocked the image as a layer), I am the administrator, and it wasn't being used elsewhere.
    This has happened with all the images I've worked on in the past 90 minutes.  Has anyone got a solution?   I've never gotten this message before

    Check that you actually have write permissions on the drive you are trying to save to.  They can an do get changed.

    I recently installed a new hard drive on my PC, downloaded iTunes, updated the software on my iPod touch and now I get this error message when I try to sync:  "you do not have enough access privileges for this operation."  It never did this before, whether it's the upgrade in software or something in iTunes, but it's very frustrating, since I'd like to add more things to my iPod.
