Hi,
I am getting an error while access R12 vision instance through solutionbeacon.com.
This error is coming while installing Jinitiator from the link.
Please help me out on this.

when we are trrying to access forms, we are getting below error, this is happening only one user other users able to access,and i am able to access other instances forms, This is a client issue, and there is nothing you need to troubleshoot from the server side.
Try to uninstall/install Sun JRE and check then. Also, try to use a different browser and see if you can reproduce the issue.

Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.forms.engine.Main

I got this error when opening my forms, in java console, it says the frmall.jar file cannot be downloaded.
I tried to get access the file with http://192.168.3.44:9001/forms/java/frmall.jar , it displays 404 page not found.
I think the virtual path defined in forms.conf is not working at all. Because I tried to put a html file under each of the directory, none of them are accessible.

In your Forms/Java folder ensure that frmall.jar is present
Also in your formsweb.cfg file add the jars in archive.

I am using JBuilder5 which comes with jdk1.3. I have installed oracle 8.1.7 Enterprise version.
I am using Win NT 4.0.
I have set the PATH variable as E:\oracle\ora81\lib; and

I am getting this exception:

I can understand that the classpath for the driver is the problem here.
Also, I tried to run this file without JBuilder as a independent file on a notepad. Even then this exception is thrown.
I have set the PATH to E:\oracle\ora81\bin and also to E:\oracle\ora81\lib.
I ran "echo %classpath%" from my command prompt and this is what i am getting.

Alos, some have suggested to copy the classes12.zip in home directory and then include this path in the classpath. I tried those solutions also. But, nothing seem to work.
Somebody help me fix this problem.

Jbuilder5 uses a different means of loading dependent classes. Use menu : Tools -->Configure Libraries - Click New and setup a new named library that points to classes12.zip .
Then include this in u'r required Libraries of your project using menu Project --> Project Properties - required Libraries tab.
I don't thnk Jbuilder5 even refers to CLASSPATH set in Windows NT environement. Path may need to be set to include oracle/ora81/bin directory though.

I am trying to use type 4 driver to connect to my Oracle 9i Rel2 database. I downloaded the odbc14.jar from oracle and added in the C:\Oracle9i\jdbc\lib path. As on the website, I setup my environment:

On Win95/Win98/NT:
- Add [ORACLE_HOME]\jdbc\lib\classes111.zip and
[ORACLE_HOME]\jdbc\lib\nls_charset11.zip to your CLASSPATH.
(Add classes12.zip and nls_charset12.zip if JDK 1.2.x or 1.3 is

I did google this and found that I needed a specific jar file called xmlparserv2.jar and I did download it and loaded it on as part of my Libraries the I got a new error... I am using NetBeans

I use Jdev 11.1.1.5 to create a BPM process application which contains a process with 3 interactive activities.
Each interacitive acitivity has a form project. I can deply these projects to a domain. Then, I delete them. However, after that, I cannot deploy them.
I try to create a new SOA domain. However, I get same error message as follow.

I think the reasoning behind this is: If we deploy it from the Application tab, it deploys the EAR file whereas simply right clicking the project and deploy, deploys the WAR file.

Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.spatial.geometry.JGeometry

I have installed UIM 7.2.2 on Oracle Linux 5.6_64 bit. There was no error message during the installation. But we are getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.spatial.geometry.JGeometry exception during runtime, specially while opening UIM home page in the browser.
Any suggestion?

For sure you are missing a library as the 'Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.j2ee.ws.server.WSForwardServlet' error tells.
You can use 'Tools'->'Manage Libraries' and paste the class name into the search field, search for it and see all libraries which contain the missing class. Add this (one of them) to the projects libs and it should work.
Make sure you deploy to a server which is set up with the correct adf runtime libs (11.1.1.5.0 means you need a WLS 10.3.5 server).

Iam getting the following errors when I try to compile my jsp. But when I compile it om another pc it works fine

Is your application using UIX ? Seems like it from the error. The class you are getting the error on
Erro: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.cabo.ui.jsps.tags.RenderingContextTEI"
is part of uix2.jar, which is available in JDev environment, but not under standalone
OC4J. Hence the error.

I'm getting this error when trying to run my struts app:
"500 Internal Server Error
OracleJSP: oracle.jsp.parse.JspParseException: Nzmero da Linha 1, <%@ taglib uri="/WEB-INF/struts-logic.tld"
prefix="logic" %>
Erro: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.cabo.ui.jsps.tags.RenderingContextTEI"
The error msg is localized to my country (Brazil), so "Nzmero da Linha" translates to "Line Number", and "Erro" means "Error".
The error comes from the 1st page called by the application (index.jsp), wich uses the struts redirect tag.
Strange enough, this error only shows on OC4J 9.0.3 stand-alone (got the latest version today from OTN), but when calling from JDeveloper 9.0.3 (production), using the embedded OC4J, everything's ok.
Has anybody experienced the same error ?
