Getting "file not compatible" error on my Samsung Galaxy

Hi,
I have just recently got the lastest version of Adobe Photoshop and when I try to install it on my samsung galaxy it just says that this file is not compatible, anyone got any ideas how to resolve this problem

I suppose you are using the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Normally if you can install it over the Market Web interface it should be compatible - you shouldn't even be able to see it in the Market app unless you are compatible.
Do you get the error from the Market application or when trying to start the application - i.e. does the application exist on your device?
It would also be good to know the exact model number as well as language you're using and what country your in.
What you could try out would be to clear the Market cache and then retry the install.

The use of the .WMV was because that was part of the Library .EM template. I would not anticipate problems with other formats, so long as they are supported and the same for all of your Menus in the Project.
If you have done several Motion Menu Renderings, you might want to clear Encore's Media Cache, just in case it is still referencing previous Render files.
And yes, the re-Importation should yield the same result as Linking/re-Linking.
Unfortunately, I do not have CS4, so I can't test this for you. There do seem to be a few real Bugs in the various CS4 programs, and maybe this is one?
That "File Not Found" rings a bell in my feeble brain. Seems that there was a post on that, but I do not remember it being related to Motion Menus. Maybe search will yield something of use.

When I call VI on Linux from Teststand on Windows using TCP/IP I get "file not found error".any sugeestions?

I am trying to execute a VI running on Linux from Teststand running on windows 2000 prof ,both running on two different machines.I used TCP/IP for the interface using the following steps on Labview VI:tools>options>VIserver>TCP/IP and gave the ip address of both the machines.When I gave the file path as c:\home\test.vi in Edit labview Vi call window(the Vi in linux is stored in /home/test.vi)and also in remote vi path:/home/test.vi,I get a file not found error.The teststand version is 3.0 and labview is 7.0.Any idea why this is happening and any solutions?

You also need to set TCP/IP Access found in Tools->Options->'VI Server: TCP/IP Access'. Make sure that you list the IP address in the Access List to allow TCP/IP access to that machine. Finally you need to specify which VIs are accessible to remote applications. Open up Tools->Options->'VI Server: Exported VIs' and provide paths to the VIs you wish to be remotely accessible.
I have attached an example VI that demonstrates VI Server in action. Please post back if you are still having problems. Good luck!

Getting 'File not found' error while using server object model code

Hi,
I am using server object model code to pull list data in a console application. My machine has standalone installation of SP 2010. I am getting error 'File Not Found', however the same operation is working fine with client object model code.
Code I am using:
string strURL=http://servername/sites/sitename;
SPSite siteObj=new SPSite (strURL); //getting error here.
I have already checked the below,
1. Framework being used is 3.5.
2. I have proper access to site.
3. Running visual studio as admin.
Any help is much appreciated.

Couple of pints need to check:
1. User running the console application needs to have at least read permission to the SharePoint databases
2. Set application by changing the "Platform target:" option on the "Build" to "Any CPU"

File Not Compatible Error - CS4

I cannot open a PSD file I was working on the day before.
I get 'Could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop'
I created this file using CS4 and was opening yesterday fine.
This has never happened with PS files before.

I saved on my HD
It looks to be about the right size.
I did do some moving around of the folder it was in, andc it uses vector smart objects. I wonder if that screwed it up. So I placed it back where it was originally and still no such luck.
I havn't checked for disk failures. Is that in utilities? My computer has been acting very strange lately (not sleeping when closed, powering uo the HD for no reason etc)\

CS5 opening file from file server through explorer gets file not found error

Hi There,
Has anyone come across an issue with CS5 where they open an ai file through Windows Explorer and gets an error file not found after CS5 has started? Opening through CS5's file > open option does not produce the same error and seems to only error when opening by double clicking on the ai file. Is this a possible issue with shellex open handler registry key?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Opening files directly from the server can produce errors and damage files. It is generally not advised.

Suddenly getting "FIle not accesible" error coming when opening a file from time capsure drive, please hlep

I just logged on today after a week to my wifi network coming from apple time capsure and when trying to access time capsue data, it is showing "FIle not accessble". A;ll the files are showing "X" mark for each file type, any help regarding this is appreciated.

Reboot the TC..
Open the airport utility in windows and make sure you have guest access turned on to read and write.
Also make sure you are in the correct workgroup and all network names meet SMB standard.. short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.

File not compatible error message

The file is .psb (large document format). I am on a mac, OSX10.7.3, PS CS5.1. I have been working on this file for some time, and this message suddenly appeared, which of course has stopped all work, and the job is almost ready to be printed!! Now what??

Yes, the backups did work. I lost a week of work, but not the whole picture (whew!) No question the file ws corrupted, because I found two other psb files in the archives which did open. I think the corruption happened from letting the file stay open while the machine slept - trying to save the start-up time.. Never do that again. Thank you both. The solution was not the easy one, the no pain one I was hoping for, but it did work.

Getting File not found error when trying to preview in Captivate 8. Have used this before without an issue, so not sure why it's happening now.

Try to run Captivate as Admin and then test the same behavior (Right click on Cp icon and click run as admin) .
Is it possible for you to post a screenshot of your General preferences , GO to EDIT > Preferences> General.
It seems that your project cache folder is located on a network drive.

File not found error (404) from web browser

I installed 901 DB on different Oracle home and iAS 1.0.2.2 in a
different Oracle home. The ifsconfig went thru fine.
However I am unable to access the login page ( I executed
ifsapachesetup ). I tried to access
http://<machine>:<port>/servlet/files.
I see the following error in Jserv.log
ajp12: Servlet Error: NoClassDefFoundError:
oracle.ifs.protocols.dav.impl.IfsDavServlet
On the browser I get File not found error ( HTTP 404 )
Do I need to perform additional steps on Solaris machine ( apart
from executing apache setup script ).
Please help me.

Make sure you have started all the services:
- ifsjservctl -start
- ifslaunchdc
- ifslaunchnode
- ifsstartdomain
all are in the iFS bin directory.

I recently decided to create a test environment for SharePoint 2010 production server but after
attach the content database using power shell successfully I get “ file not found “ error when I try to login the top site collection
I think it’s because of customized master page in production site which I don’t know how to apply them to my new environment.I even tried to copy the master pages from cataloge throught SPD but it didnt work.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Problems with cached previews and File Not Found errors in preview and build

I am having serious issues with Encore CS5.
When I try and build a preview or disk/image I am getting File Not Found errors. I have emptied the media cache in the preferences but my project still seems to be referencing previously cached files or rendered menus. Is there any way to manually delete previous previews or the cache. I know that there are no missing files in my project. Any help would be very much appreciated.
I am running Mac OS 10.6.4 and Encore 5.0

To fix your locales, see http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Configuring_locales -- in specific, you'll need to uncomment the en_US.utf8 locale at least, since that's the one that's specified in your rc.conf

Creating Publishing Portal, File Not Found error

Are there any dependencies for a web application before I can create a site collection based on publishing portal. I am able to create a site collection based on publishing portal just fine in a different web application.

What system and iPhoto versions are you using? What camera model and are you shooting just jpegs or RAW or both?
See if you can launch Image Capture and get it to recognize your camera. If it does then download the photos to a folder on the Desktop to get them safely on the hard drive.
See if the files can be imported into iPhoto from that folder.
Reformat the memory card with your camera, take some test shots and try to import into iPhoto directly.
