Getting fraudulent email about itunes purchases

Since registering with Apple, I began getting fraudulent emails saying that I have purchased iTunes items that I did not purchase. These are caught by my spam mail and have an incorrect email address. That's how I immediately detected them. Does Apple do anything about this? If so, should I forward these messages somewhere so Apple can do something about them?

    If the email is asking you to verify your account or in any way provide personal informaton, it's a fake, trying to scam you out of your account information or credit card details. Do not respond to any emails that have a link asking for personal information. Just delete the message.

    Beware this is a common phishing scam: you get an authentic-looking email saying your account has been charged - usually a significant amount of money, to get your attention - and "click here" to confirm. Don't do that.
    Check your purchase history as King_Penguin wrote. If the purchase does not appear, delete the email and forget about it.

    How do I get a receipt for iTunes purchases. I know I used to get them for purchasing apps, but I can't figure out how to get email notification of my iTunes purchases.

    Receipts should be automatically mailed to you. There's nothing you need to do (or can do) other than confirm that your current email address is correct in your iTunes Store account and make sure no anti-spam filter is blocking emails from Apple. It sometimes can take a couple of days for a receipt to be sent.
    You can always look up purchases by logging into your iTunes Store account and going to the Purchase History.
    EDIT: Is there any way to speed up how quickly I getthr receipt though?

    I can personally ensure you get it if after waiting the 60 days you still haven't recieved it yet.
    You would also want to ensure:
    - You have the annual (yearly) Creative Cloud plan
    - You log into the Creative Cloud website from within 3 of the Adobe Touch Apps from the tablet using your Adobe ID associated with your membership
    If all this looks correct and you don't recieve an email after the 60 days, send me a private message and I'll ensure you get it.

    If you are not getting the email, you can contact Apple Support to have your Security Questions reset:
    ACCOUNT SECURITY CONTACT NUMBERS
    Once you get them reset, check your Rescue Email address on Manage Your Apple ID to make sure it is still a functional address. It is not the same as your primary or alternate address.

    If so, it's a scam. Apple will never ask for personal information in an email, and Apple definitely has better spelling and grammar. Do not respond to it under any circumstances. You can if you wish forward it to Apple at [email protected] Be sure to include all the headers if you can.

    I just received email from "[email protected]*m" and doubt that it is a real apple email.
    this email tells me that I just bought "StarWars®: Knights of the Old Republic" in the appstore.
    First :  i did not
    Second : when i look in my appstore, it doesn't look like i bought it (price is still to be seen)

    It's a phishing attempt to get your iTunes account and payment details - if you still have the email then you could forward it to Apple : [email protected]
    You can view the purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases (the most recent purchase is above the list).
    On your iPad/iPhone you can view a cut-down version of your purchase history (the most recent 90 days) via http://reportaproblem.apple.com

    Well today's morning I done again my purchasing, and there is info about few business days of check the bank card. But today is 19th march actually.

    Same issue in Colorado. And, the worst part is that is impacting my iPhone from receiving any of my other email. My work email (push via "enterprise" gmail) comes through, but my personal email and other POP emails are "Stuck" behind .mac email not being able to connect.
    Why can't we get even the slightest explaination?

    I just received an email about a purchase i have supposedly made with an unregistered device .
    When i click the sign in link on the email - i get a few boxes asking  my bank details - this i did not fill out since i know i have not bought anything for about three years . I then returned the email and it just bounced back to me . I then loaded up iTunes - checked my purchase history and guess what? its not listed !
    Im assuming this is a scam ? please can someone assure me apples store is concrete in regard to purchases ?

    Yes, that is a common form of scam and is reported here frequently.
    You were correct to check your Purchase History to see if there was really a purchase, and to avoid entering any account/bank details.

    You can put it on your computer.
