Getting gnome themes/styles to work properly in openbox

Hi first this is my first post here and I'd like to express how awesome Arch is. I've long battled with toing and throwing between various distros and Windows but I think that will stop with Arch. It just 'feels' right for me . Now onto my issue.
I've installed Openbox via the beginners wiki (http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beg … de#Openbox) and am also running thunar. My question is this, how do I get gnome themes to display correctly in my applications including thunar. I've installed the following theme (http://box-look.org/content/show.php/Mu … tent=66198) as I thought this particular setup looked nice http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/8910/screen220323.jpg. But thats all I get after selecting the theme in obconf is nastly looking WIndows 95esqe looking windows and menus with ridgid boring styles. Do I have to install gnome first and then install openbox as I don't want all the crap that a gnome installation would dump onto my system.

You use obconf to change the Openbox theme (just the window borders). To change the GTK theme you can use lxappearance or a few other tools:

Go to System Preferences > Universal Access and down in the Display: section make sure that the Enhance contrast: slider is all the way to left to Normal, or more to the right for less Contrast.

How do I get my imported form to work properly in Dreamweaver?

Our client has requested that we import forms directly from their old site to the new one we are creating for them. To clean the form up it was necessary to insert a table within it and reorganize the fields and titles. Unfortunately when I test the form out the confirmation page does not show the input information.
For example: Here is the original (old) form http://www.co.dekalb.ga.us/parks/contactus_form.htm that is currently active now. If you enter your information it goes through to the proper recipient and displays a confirmation page with all of the contact information you entered.

After being imported from the original source code and redesigned in Dreamweaver this form doesn't work properly. When I preview it on the server, fill in the fields and click submit, the confirmation page shows up with all of the field names but none of the information I've input.
Can anyone take a look at the code and let me know what it may be missing or what I may have messed up when I reformatted the design of the table? Thanks in advance for any solution you can offer.

It is hard to tell with out seeing what you have. But black is reveal and white is hide, with grays being the variance of the two. It would not reveal the mask, it would reveal the lower layers. I assume that what you meant, but I added it for new users reading this thread.

Can't Get My Share Button To Work Properly.. HTML Code Difficulties

I have a share button on one of my pages of my website (for facebook) but i can't seem to get the "title", "description" and "image" to work properly on the preview when its posted on peoples walls. It just seems to scan the website for information and i want to be able to control what the post looks like. Please Help. Here is what i have

I cannot get my Palm Vx to work properly with Windows XP; especially the HotSync.

I have tried everything I can think of. I even went through the online chat assistance, and uninstalled Palm and then reinstalled a clean version. It worked a couple of times, but would not load any of my data, and now all my data is gone, my Palm still does not hotSync, and is essentially a very expensive paperweight. Why can't Microsoft and Palm get this right? I was so attached to my Palm for all these years that I bought them for family. Now, I have lost mine and all my data. Has anyone figured out how to get a Palm Vx to work with Windows XP and a new computer with USB ports?

When you say the data is gone, is it gone from Palm Desktop and the device?
Did you do a successful hotsync after the reinstall and before the data loss?

we have upgraded our portal version from EP6.0 sp 9 to EO 7.0 SP9. after upgrade customer theme is not displaying properly. like tabs ,font size are displaying with improper format. can any one tell me what needs to be done. But SAP standard themes r displaying corrrectly.

we had the same problem last summer.
We migrated from EP6 SP2 to NW04. Theme was ok.
Then upgraded from NW04 to 7.0. Theme was corrupted, web dynpros were not usable.
You just need to export the EP6 theme, then import it in EP 7.0. No need to delete the old ep7 one.
You may have to restart the j2ee.

Can't get alternating rows style to work

I have a spreadsheet in Numbers for iPad that I'm trying to style with alternating row colors. I don't even really care if its just gray and white, but I would like any form of alternating shades since I have a ton of data in one spreadsheet. It seems that no matter what I do on the settings, though, I can't get it to work. I tried changing the background of all the cells to no fill, then to white, then to gray...none of that seemed to make any difference. I also tried to select one of the pre existing styles and tried to apply that to my table and that also didn't seem to work. If anyone out there has any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

Can't get the view function to work properly...

For some reason, I no longer can get the VIEW function to do what I want. Specifically, everytime I try to get ARTIST to show, it shows ALBUM BY ARTIST instead. This does NOT happen in my downloaded file, only in the entire library. Anyone else have this happen to them? Please advise.

In the Masked Artwork folder go to a photo with the keyword "food". Does it have a check mark at food?
I have had situations where the photo had the keyword printed under the title, but the check mark is not present. A search with that combination for the keyword yields "no image found".
Go to bottom of your keywords panel and look under Other Keywords. Is Food there and checked? If so you can right click on this keyword and Find will work. If you have the type of situration where keyword has no check mark in your tree, except for at Other, I found you have to delete them and then re-enter them. It will then work.

How can i get my n97 back to work properly?

Hi everybody!
I need some help, i don't know what to do with my n97...
I have updated its firmware every time was needed, i've done a lot of hard resets, i've free a lot of space in C, a lot of RAM memory and....it keeps randomly freezing!!
After six months dealing and struggling with it, i can say some sure things:
-I think it's a software problem, because every time i do a hard reset, it works perfectly without freezing for a while. Always after a reset all works fine, and always a while after, even if no aplication were installed, the phone start freezing.
-It worked quite good before the famous kinetic scrolling on firmware v20. Sometimes i try to select an option and the menu scrolls down again and again. I suggest that kinetic scrolling is optional in next firmware revision OR have the chance of downgrading the firmware through NSU, so i can install the firmware that works better for my device.
Does anyone has fixed this problems?i can't use this phone, i use it as a very expensive 32Gb portable hard drive, while i daily use my old n95 8gb, a very reliable phone.

If you've followed the troubleshooting steps in the article that you were reading, then you will have to go into the Apple Store or contact Apple Support to get a repair/replacement set up.

Can't get Extension's icons to work properly

Hi,
I don't know why but it seems I'm unable to make the extension show its own icon (the ones that EB lets you choose in the Bundle Manifest Editor - Normal Icon, Rollover Icon, Dark Normal, etc.).
I've checked the manifest and it seems OK. There's a point I wasn't aware of, in the documentation, saying:
You must save all of the alternative image files in the src/ folder of your project, so that they are copied to the correct location in the output directory.
I guess it means that I can nest them in a folder as well, but I've tried with the following setting too:

with no luck, Photoshop displays always the default Lego-like icon.
What am I doing wrong? May be that I'm passing through an MXI as well? But as far as I know, in the MXI you set the icon for Extension Manager only.
I'm really puzzled :-/

I think I'm near to the solution, but I'm afraid I'd need some extra help.
I've found out that EB's visual editor for the manifest didn't update the actual xml file (so that the editor showed some icons path and the actual xml a different one). Then I've compared the two manifest.xml (the one in the .staged-extension hidden folder and the one in the bin-debug/CSXS folder) and found discrepancies there as well. To tell the truth, even the .mxi (in the extension version) resetted to 1.0.0 - that's maybe because I've messed with an external text editor directly with the xml and mxi while FB was open...?
Anyway, I've uninstalled with Extension Manager the extension, synchronized the two xml, fixed the mxi. Exported the ZXP, with certificate and timestamp.
Before installing it, I've checked that both:
/Users/Davide/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CS6ServiceManager/extensions
and
/Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CS6ServiceManager/extensions
were empty (at least my extension was *not* listed). Just in case you're wondering, /Applications/Adobe\ Photoshop\ CS6/Plug-ins/Panels is empty as well.
To my surprise, if I launch Photoshop, here it is - my extension. Mind you, the folders are empty and I haven't installed the ZXP yet. How could it be?!
So I'd like to get rid of that before installing the possibly-correct version; but... how?

How to get after effects to be working properly

Im having some trouble getting after effects to work. Whenever i install after effects (Even as a trial), it sucessfully installs. But, whenever i open it, it alwyas says:
"please uninstall and reinstall the product.
Error: 5"
i already reinstalled it about 3 times already, but still no hope. I also have photoshop and dreamweaver, but they work perfectly fine.
Im on a mac running Mac OS X version 10.6.7. Model is apple imac mb950ll/a 21.5 inch desktop

There is an application for Macs from Adobe that removes all traces of a previous install, which then allows a reinstall to go smoothly.
I don't know its name, I've never had to use it, I wouldn't know where to find it, I simply know it exists. I hope someone else with the actual knowledge chimes in.

Can't get thunar-shares-plugin to work properly

I have installed from AUR thunar-vfs and thunar-shares-plugin, to be able to easily create shares in XFCE. Then I followed the steps detailed in the wiki, but I can't get it to work. When I right click on a folder and select properties, I get the additional "Shares" tab, but its contents are disabled and I can't do anything. In the bottom of the tab, I can see in written in red "You are not the owner of the folder", but indeed I am.
Samba is running, and as I stated, I configured it following the steps in the wiki. I can also open other shares in thunar, but I can't create shares.
The only reason I think that might be causing problems it that when I built thunar-vfs, I had to remove the 'hal' dependency, and also '--with-volume-manager=hal' from the configure script, because the hal dependency was failing. Could this be the problem? How can I fix it?
Also, is there other good alternative for XFCE to easily create shares?

Ok, heres what I just tried. I tried playing The Dark Knight on DVD on my PC. Background music is playing throughout, as well as some sound effects, but voices and speech as well as most other sound effects cannot be heard. I am experiencing the same problem with some of the PC games I'm playing as well. You'll hear background music and background effects but you wont hear other SFX or speech. The strange this is that whatever music or background SFX are playing is playing out of all the speakers. What seems to be the issue?

Cannot get HP Envy 4500 to work properly on Macbook

Hello I recently got a new HP Envy 4500 series printer but cannot no matter what I do get it to work wirelessly on my macbook. I have tried many times to uninstall and reinstall and even connected it via an IP address but it does not want to work. It only prints but nothing else will work!
