You can sync them via your computer's iTunes. If you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you can enable the left-hand sidebar via View > Show Sidebar (option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), which might make it easier to navigate.
To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.

Unless you had Find My iPad enabled on it then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did have it enabled then you could try locating it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
If you think that it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc, and if it was a cellular model then you should also contact your carrier

The Dropbox app has a very cool auto-upload process that will automatically upload photos from the iPad Camera Roll to Dropbox.
First sign up for a free Dropbox account from your computer.
Then, download the free Dropbox app on your iPad.
Log in to the Dropbox app on the iPad with your new account and click on the Photos icon in the lower left corner of the screen (second one from the left).
Select "Enable Camera Upload" and "Only Wi-Fi." The upload process will begin for all existing photos in the Camera Roll.
From now on, all future photos taken by the iPad will automatically upload to the Dropbox folder. You can then download your photos from Dropbox to your computer by going to http://www.dropbox.com, logging in to your account, and downloading the photos. You can then put the photos on a USB drive or burn to a CD or upload them to a photo processing website.

so what happens when you try to email the document? You should be able to send as a word document, open in the mail app on your ipad and then save to pages.
If you want to sync/move documents between the pc and the ipad, you'll have to find apps or services that are compatibel with both.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device and follow the instructions.

You will have to install an app to your ipad that can open them. Then you can either use file sharing in itunes to transfere those files to your ipad. Or you can install icloud control panel on your pc, purchase apple's iwork applications, and save the files to icloud.

The app icon remains "dim" on iPad desktop with one of the two messages. The messages change depending upon sync with iTunes or power-up from a shutdown. Tried assigning v30 and v31 as viewer versions, neither appear to work. The certificate signing appear to work without incident. The appropriate profile appears correctly within the iPad does not show it is expired.

This happens when the mobileprovision file does not include the device ID of the device you are attempting to install onto. You need to recreate the .mobileprovision file and make absolutely sure the device ID for the devices are included.

Yes, you can get those games on your iPad Mini.
Sign into the iTunes and App Store section of the Settings with the same Apple ID used to buy those games. Then go to the App Store and click "Updates" and then "Purchases" and you should see the games your hubby bought with his device.

Thank you for your reply Domingo. Your suggestion worked as far as sending me a link to buy the book at iTunes. But it did not allow me to download the book from my wife's account. I did finally get an answer from Apple. It took an entire day of emailing back and forth and the final answer was relatively easy once Apple finally decided to give up the solution. Basically, you have to open ibooks and sign out. Then you have to sign into ibooks using the book purchaser's Apple ID and password. Then you can download the book onto your device. Not too bad, huh? It only took a whole day of Apple people sending me wrong instructions before they figured it out. Geez. What a disappointing experience.

Yes, I did try to go on my settings>wifi and was waiting for any wifi signals to pick up, but nothing shows up. But on my PC I get a whole list of networks to choose from. Regarding my neighbor, I already have her password that is why I was able to get it on my PC, the problem is that the mini Ipad is not picking any signal neither can it locate me when I go to maps.
