Getting ipad books onto kindle

Hello, any help welcome........
I have an ipad2 with lots of books I've bought from amszon on the kindle app. I am thinking of buying a kindle paperwhite , if so, how can I get copies of books already purchased onto the new kindle? Aldo, does anyone know if it is possible to get a coloured background (ie green, blue) to text on the ipad2 kindle app?

You sign into you kindle using your Amazon ID and then can download any of you books directly to the device.
No, the only background options are those you see in Text settings - white, black and sepia.

They can reset your authorizations, and then you must reauthorize any devices you still need.
(Unfortunately, Adobe haven’t got round to an admin website for viewing and editing authorizations.)
Some of the representatives haven't been properly trained and don't know what to do (and claim there is nothing they can do);
in that case the only way seems to be to give up that chat and try another session hoping for a properly trained representative.
If your problem is with another device using Overdrive, Bluefire, Aldiko or similar third party app, it is recommended not to mention that app when on the chat, just mention that you have run out of authorizations (E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS) . Thanks to AJP_Bear for that tip.

As long as both iPads use the same Apple ID, it should be easy. But you can't move books to another device that's not registered to the original account that purchased the book. There is no book sharing.

Turn on your computer.
Turn on itunes.
Connect iphone.
Click File>Transfer Purchases
The ringtones should then be on your computer.
You can then sync them to the new iphone.

Are you referring to this checkbox:
If that box is checked and it's not imorting into iPhoto disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

Ignore the message that comes up in iTunes. Hit "Cancel"
There are several ways you can pull the music off your iPod and onto iTunes.
There is a very direct method, which I personally prefer, but there are also numerous third party applications, which will help you accomplish the task as well. The link below provides step-by-step instructions for the direct method as well as a few third party applications if you choose to go that route instead.

Trouble getting books onto my kindle app

Okay, so ever since the most recent update that I have been able to add to the Ipad (iOS 7.0.3) I've been having trouble adding books to my ipad through the kindle app.
I've recently moved and do NOT have wifi. So, I've been adding books onto my Ipad via USB transfer through itunes. After the most recent update with cloud though whenever I do this type of transfer I get the book on my kindle with the little "new" banner, however, when I click on it I get the message
"ERROR: please remove the book from your device and redownload it from your cloud items. If the problem persists, try to deregister you application and register it again"
Clearly, I'm sure some of you can see my problem. I cannot connect to my cloud to redownload without wireless internet, AND I cannot deregister because I can't re-register without wireless. Has whatever choice apple made completely cut off those of us without wireless internet from using certain apps? Is there ANY way I can fix this?

You should be able to do it directly within the app. If you've linked the app to your Amazon acount then you should get a Cloud button at the bottom of the app which will let you view your kindle ebook purchases from Amazon, and allow you to download them into the app by tapping on them

Do you already have the Kindle app downloaded to an iPhone or another iPad? Do you have "Automatic Downloads" turned on under Settings>iTunes & App Store for Apps on your iPad?
You might want to try touching and holding the Kindle App option in your Purchased list, and when it highlights, let go, and it will go to a a detail page for the app with another "Open" option on it. See if it will open from there.
If you do have Automatic Downloads turned on on the iPad, turn it off, and then go back to purchased to see if the Kindle is still showing as "Open".

If the apps are not on your computer's iTunes (did you do File > Transfer Purchases prior to starting the update ?), then you could try downloading them to your computer (re-downloading) and then restoring to your backup and see if that restores them and their settings/content - a backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their content/settings, so for the restore to work fully iTunes needs access to the apps so that it can restore them.

If it's Amazon then you'll need the Mac Kindle program from Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_200127470_ksupport_ma c?nodeId=200438360) and you should then be able use the program to download the book (for free) from Amazon onto your Mac and read it there.
For iBooks you can use Transfer Purchases in iTunes when connected to your computer to copy the book to your Mac - but I don't think that you can read iBooks ebook purchases on a computer.

Thank you for your reply Domingo. Your suggestion worked as far as sending me a link to buy the book at iTunes. But it did not allow me to download the book from my wife's account. I did finally get an answer from Apple. It took an entire day of emailing back and forth and the final answer was relatively easy once Apple finally decided to give up the solution. Basically, you have to open ibooks and sign out. Then you have to sign into ibooks using the book purchaser's Apple ID and password. Then you can download the book onto your device. Not too bad, huh? It only took a whole day of Apple people sending me wrong instructions before they figured it out. Geez. What a disappointing experience.

You can't. Kindle is a different ecosystem than iTunes. Generally, you choose your book ecosystem and you stick with it or you have books in both (or in several).
There is a Kindle app for the iPad and iPhone that is just as good (and in my opinion substantially better) than the Apple iBook app.
Most purchased books (but not all) have Digital Rights Management that prevent them from being shared or moved easily. Books purchased on iTunes are meant to be used on your iPad with iBooks. Books purchased on Amazon Kindle are meant to be used on your Kindle apps.
