Getting iPhone-entered calendar events on to Outlook.

I have my iPhone synced with my Outlook through Exchange.
When I sync my iPhone, any calendar event entered on my iPhone does not appear in my Outlook.  But my calendar events entered in my Outlook appear on my iPhone. How do I get my iPhone entered events to sync on to my Outlook calendar when I sync?

Me too. Someone please help us

In setting up ICloud on my new Iphone 4s, I lost most of my calendar events in my Outlook 7 calendar in my Vista PC.  I used to have MobileMe but in the set-up process was told to turn that off, which I did but now most of my calendar events have disappeared after syncing with ICloud.  How can I get my missing calendar events back?  They are still on my 3Gs Iphone which I have not yet updated to IOS5.

Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off.

  • How do I get my missing calendar events back after MobileMe deleted them from my iphone after syncing?

I signed up for MobileMe about a month ago.  I noticed today that all of my calendar events from the last 18 months are missing on my iphone. I checked on MobileMe online and they are there.  'Sync' to me means 'make the two entries identical on the PC and the iPhone' not 'Move it to the online MobileMe and delete it from the phone'.
Is there anyway to get them back on my phone?  If I had know this was going to happen I never would have signed up for MobileMe.
    Thanks,
    Ken

  • How can I get my exchange calendar to appear in Outlook 2011?

I have had this issue multiple times. I even have a new Macbook Pro because I couldn't solve this on the previous machine. Now I can's solve it on this machine. My exchange account works fine on a PC, my iPhone 4, and OWA. There are 2 other Macbook Pro users and 3 Macbook users on our network. They have no problem with any part of Outlook/Exchange. Even when I create a new user on one of their machines, my calendar does not appear. It seems to be downloading the calendar events, but the calendar is blank. I have repaired my identity and even created a new identity on my machine. Tried other machines (which worked fine in the past). Since it won't work on other machines, reformatting doesn't appear to be the solution this time (as it was before). I can't find any solution online in any forum (apple, microsoft, outlook, exchange, etc). Someone please help! Thanks.

Note if you don't have any folders on your Dock, note the trashcan is on one side of the dock with a divider between it and applications.  Minimized windows (with the yellow button on the upper left corner) will go between the trash and that divider.  You can drag folders into the section between the minimized windows and the trash.

  • Ipad Calendar Events unsearchable in outlook 2003

Found a weird glitch today I wanted to see if anyone else has seen this.  I was doing a search in outlook 2003 running on exchange server 2010 for a few calendar events, i realized that events with the same spelling weren't showing up.  Then I figured out that the only ones missing are the ones I originally entered on my Ipad.  If you look at the date on either calendar they are there but if you do a search for the event it can't find them.
I have another computer with outlook 2010 and I connected to the same exchange account and when I did the search there I found the events BUT what is weird is they show up sorted apart from the rest of the search results under a catagory called reoccurence none, even though all the other items are also reoccurence none.
This is pretty scary because I use my calendar to bill customers and I almost missed a BUNCH of events because they were entered from the ipad.  Anyone else having this problem?

  • IPhone 4S Calendar Event Defaults to Incorrect Time Zone

My iPhone, Win7 PC is set for Eastern Time. I use Outlook/Exchange and the Outlook calendar in Options is set for Eastern Time as well. I never had any issues until recently. My iPhone syncs with the Exchange server using ActiveSync.
A few weeks ago I was out west and changed my Win 7 O/S time zone to Pacific Time. I did not change anything in Outlook or on my iPhone. The iPhone has always been set for “Set Automatically” (Settings/General/Date & Time). Also, in Mail, Contacts and Calendars my Time Zone is Set for Montreal (where I live) with Time Zone Support “On”. I have never changed this from the day I got the iPhone. Whenever I travel the time zone automatically switches. When I came back from the west coast my phone switch back to Eastern as it should and I manually set the Win 7 O/S to Eastern as well.
Now for some reason, when I create a calendar event in Outlook (i.e. on the desktop) the event shows up correctly on the iPhone (example: a meeting for tomorrow at 2:00 PM Eastern shows up as tomorrow at 2:00PM on the iPhone). However, when I “edit” the calendar event on the iPhone, the time shows up as 11:00AM and the time zone is Los Angeles (3 hours apart from Montreal). You can just imagine how this is causing me havoc as I do business in different time zones and have to reschedule meetings often.
I have tried to set the time zone to something else and then back to eastern or Montreal. It makes no difference. When I create a calendar event directly on the iPhone the default time zone is Montreal and it shows up correctly on both devices.
    Any ideas what’s going on?

    Hi Song&DanceMan,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
Issues with calendar time zone can be very frustrating. It sounds as though the Time Zone Support feature may be affecting these events. Please use the attached article for more information on Time Zone Support.

  • Transfer iPhone contacts & calendars to brand new outlook 2007

Someone gave me an iPhone 3GS as a gift, I pressed the reset button and used outlook 2007 & itunes to sync my contacts & calendars.
Everything on my iPhone is fine.
My contacts & calendars in Outlook 2007 were accidentally in wrong orders by importing a backup file in pst format(Outlook Format).
For future synchronization ,I am afraid that my iPhone contacts & calendars will be in wrong orders due to the changes in Outlook 2007.
Can I transfer my iPhone contacts & calendars to a brand new outlook 2007 (without any data & resetting my outlook 2007)?
    If not,any other solutions?
The main reason of this discussion is to make my Outlook contacts & calendars in correct orders and my iPhone contacts & calendars will not be affected.
Hopefully I have a backup .pst file with correct data on my harddisk.
    Hope you guys can help.
    Thank you so much!

The Synchronization dons’ not affect the order of how information’s are displayed between outlook and iPhone IOS. It only affects the content of your contacts and calendars information’s.
However, if you want to synchronize to a brand new outlook (this mean new Mail profile), you should create a new mail profile to use with outlook. Always make a backup of your iPhone and outlook before you modify any settings.
To create a new profile, go to Mail setting in the Control Panel or Execute control mlcfg32.cpl from C:\Programs Files\Microsoft Office\OfficeXX from the Command Prompt to access Mail directly.
From here you can display the main profile which iTunes using to synchronize your information’s (Show Profiles… Button). This one called generally outlook, it is created automatically as you execute your outlook for the first time.
Then you have to create a new one using ADD button, as you finish choose Always use this profile then drop down the menu to select the new created profile.  Apply the new setting and restart your outlook.
Now you suppose to have the new profile of outlook, this let you synchronize your information with nonfactual content.
You can go back to the old profile by choosing it as the default one from Mail setting. Be careful not to synchronize with iTunes when the default profile is set to the old one.
Remark: in the Mail setting “mlcfg32.cpl “ if you choose the following option (Prompt for a profile to be used) then every time when you open outlook it will prompt you to select the profile that you need to work within, the problem that when iTunes want to synchronize your content it can’t select arbitrary on of theses profiles and this will dysfunction, so it is preferred that you select (Always use this profile) option.

  • How can I get rid of calendar events initiated from my old email address?

I have a bunch of old reoccuring calendar events created using a previous email address. I now cannot delete them because "I" am not the originator of the event. The email doesn't exist anymore. I can decline all future occuring events, but it still doesn't take it off my calendar.
    thanks

    Scott,
NP. What I did last time and will try again is:
    1) Attached the Touch to my PC and from within iTunes I select the Touch icon.
    2) From the SUMMARY tab, I choose to Restore.
    3) Under the INFO tab I only have "Sync contacts with OUTLOOK" and "Sync bookmarks with INTERNET EXPLORER" checked. Nothing is checked in the Calendar area.
Last time I did this it downloaded the 1.1.2 software too. I thought I already had this, but it downloaded it anyway. Regardless, the majority of the time was reloading my 13.34G of data (this is the real number, I estimated before). That took about 2+ hours. In the process, I could see that my storage usage bar did clear completely. So this process did restore all of my date. But again, how could the clock information still be there? That proves that the restore does not clear all information.
Will let you know how it goes.
    Ernie

  • Is there any way to set a calendar event in MS Outlook from Oracle Forms

I need to set and delete events in MS Outlook from an Oracle Form (version 10gR2).
Is there any way to accomplish this?
    Thanks

You will need to use OLE on the client, which would further require the use of WebUtil. Here (below) are a couple of MS examples that you would need to convert to pl/sql. There are a variety of Oracle notes which discuss reading and writing to MS Word and Excel. These can likely be used as a starting place to talk to Outlook. There is a WebUtil demo which includes an example of how to write to MS Word. It can be found on the WebUtil home page:

I cannot sync my iPhone 4s calendar with my desktopOutlook 2003

    Hey nancygrannis,
To sync your iPhone's calendar with your MacBook, you'll want to follow the instructions in this article:

  • IPhone duplicates calendar events on Google's servers and iPad

    Hi all
I sync my mulptiple Google Calendars via the exchange service Google provides. I've been having some bad hangups and despite my searches across the web and this forum, can only find a small handful of people who seem to experience the same problems. Anybody else in the same boat / have a solution? Thanks in advance!
    The Problems:
-If I create an event in one calendar (i.e., "Personal) and then change its calendar using an iOS device (for example, to "Appointments"), the change will go through ok on that device... but then my other devices and the google web interface show TWO events, one under "Personal" and the other under "Appointments". Super annoying to have to delete and re-enter all your calendar items, just to avoid duplication. Anybody have a solution??
-If I use the "tap and drag" method to change the duration or start time of an event those changes almost never sync -- so an event at 1pm gets changed to 2pm, I make the edit and then annoyingly come back to it and discover that it has reverted to 1pm. It sometimes takes 2 or even 3 attempts before it finally locks in.
-Editing the event title also frequently does not sync.
I've tried to use the calDAV option to rectify some of these problems, but in my opinion calDAV is even worse  - no push support, and if I change an event's calendar it often just disappears on Google's servers, or the event sits there under the original calendar and acts like no change was made. I need google for work, or I'd consider using iCloud - and my schedule is pretty intense so I'm constantly changing and editing, and all these problems have been a constant nuisance.
Thanks to any and all who can help!

go to icloud.com and manage your account. delete the other calendars you have, set you default cals

  • Help. iPhone 5, calendar sync issues using Outlook. Doesn't work. Does any kind soul have a solution

At my wits end. iPhone 5, OS 7.1.1, using Outlook as mail, contacts and calendar but unable to find a solution to sync everything. I have my own domain and use a small ISP. It's not an Exchange server account. I've trawled countless forums but to no avail. Can anyone help? Steve.

Mavericks doesn't sync contacts or calendar via iTunes anymore. Apple removed 'sync services' so Outlook doesn't have the sync engine to move data between iOS & the Mac. It will still work on iTunes 11 on earlier OS X's.
On 10.9 you can either use iCloud, setup your own contacts & calendar server (OS X server, Biakal, Owncloud & many others) or you can find another online service to use to sync data, like Google apps.
There is a 200 page thread on the issue…
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5460803?start=0&tstart=0
There is also a user tip on how to setup Baikal…

  • How do I get iPhone 4S notes to appear in Outlook

With IOS 5 all iphone notes magically synced with Outlook. With IOS 6 I get three options for my Notes to have a 'default account' (why does it need an account at all? It's a NOTE). But playing the game, my options are On My Iphone (where else?! It's where I make the notes), my gmail account (why is that one selected? I have many email addresses, but this isn't one that I can see in Outlook, nor is it one I want to), and something called iCloud (which I guess is where all my data is being poured over by those nice people at Apple who only have my best interests at heart). My setting in iCloud include some mysterious email addresses that I never have any intention of ever using - and which are irelevant as far as I can see to Outlook.
So how do Notes that are apparently syncing to somewhere in iCloud appear again in Outlook. And how do Outlook notes appear on my iPhone (which by the way is IOS 6.1.1, not 6.0.2 the only option offered here)

I've just discovered that Outlook doesn't sync with iCloud and that Apple are blaming Microsoft. BUT IOS 5 did sync notes with Outlook. Why has Apple removed this from IOS 6?

  • IPhone 4S Calendar events off by one day

Just upgraded to a new iPhone 4S (on launch day) and synced with iTunes and as a "new" phone (did not restore from previous phone backup). Calendars synced from my MacBookPro without any problems... or so I thought. Just discovered that ALL my reminders and events are showing the day before they occur. Example: my mother-in-law's birthday is tomorrow but my phone tells me it is today. They are correct on my MacBookPro calendar.
Anyone know why this occurred and how I can fix it? It's very strange!

Couldn't find this so started a new discussion, with the "fix" that Tech Support helped me figure out.
(Then I discovered I could find my discussions using "My Stuff" at the top of the page. LOL)
Here's a link to my new post with steps for fixing the all day events on the wrong day problem.
