Getting Java iViews out of the PCD? Idiots guide please!

Hi All
I am having a real problem with configuring my portal, the contentent provided by SAP meets most of my needs but I am finding a few areas where I need to make changes (hopefully small ones!)
I have used Netweaver Developer Studio to create Reository services and I have heard that you can use it to change iViews (oh, and create new ones!)
What I want is, if possible a step by step guide to:
1. Locate an iview / PAR file in the PCD
2. Export it and open it it NWDS
3. Re-package it up and import it back in!
I know it is alot to ask and there are other posts but I can't seem to follow any of them.

1-to find out which PAR files are required for an iView, look at the properties of the iView. To download the PAR file (which will usually contain the source code) go to the Java Development workset, followed by Portal Browser followed by ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/pcd path and click on the Download link corresponding to the PAR.Bak file. It will download as a zip file. When you unzip it, it will be a .par.bak file. Remove the .bak extension, rename it to your own company prefix (com.mycompany instead of the com.sap prefix) then import it into NWDS.
2-after you've made the changes, you can re-deploy it either using the File > Export wizard or you can go to the Java Developer > PRT Admin and upload the PAR file.
3-Create an iView based on the newly imported PAR from the Content Admin workset, using the New from PAR wizard (just right click on the folder in which you'd like to create the iView in and click on New from PAR), choose the PAR file from the list and click Next.

I've recently messed up my Mac OS X Lion by deleting Aperture, but I need to get my data out of the computer. I've tried to repair it using DU, but it said I needed to backup all my data and reinstall the OS. How do I backup my data to an external drive?

You need to back up 2 folders, Final Cut Events and Final Cut Projects which by default are located on your Movies Folder. You can always check by clicking on a clip inside Fianl Cut X and selecting Show in Finder in the contextual menu for the selected clip.

Do you have the original installation disc(s) that shipped with your MacBook? You're just going to have to start from scratch - as I doubt that you can recover any files without paying a fortune. Insert the installations disc, reformat your hard drive and then install the OS that came with your computer. Continue updating to 10.6.8 and then redownload and reinstall Mountain Lion again.
That's really the only way you're going to get your machine up and running again. I would also consider buying an inexpensive external drive to use as a backup in case your brother decides to do something stupid again.

Apparently you have two catalogs now, one from each installation. If you did importing, tagging and editing during the first installation, that will all be in the first catalog. Find the first catalog - it is a file with the suffix .lrcat and the default place for LR to put it is usually your Pictures folder - and (with LR closed) double-click on it. LR will launch with catalog #1 active.

Either sync them via iTunes on the computer to the device or turn on Podcast syncing in Settings > Podcasts on the device.
This is covered in the User's Guide, try reading it for a better understanding of how the device works.

Since I don't have a Zen X-Fi, and thus don't have or use Centrale, I can't atest to its accuracy or completeness. But at least someone took a stab at it. There also appears to be a stand-alone video converter application available in the Zen X-Fi download area.
Regarding your "format" question, that isn't easy to answer without involving the jargon you asked be avoided. Modern video "formats" aren't simple. They are basically containers that hold other things (namely the video stream and the audio stream). The video stream and audio stream are encoded separately using completely unrelated techniques. They are then bundled together under a "wrapper" like AVI, M4V, etc. Thus you need to know specifically what coder-decoders (codecs) were used to create the internal streams and what codecs the player itself supports.
An analogy can be found in chinese "buns". Externally they all look alike, but in one case the filling could be a sweet rice paste and in another it could be octopus. Knowing what's inside can make all the difference.

Yes, you are right, that we can select the group in user Management and if we click on the "Assigned roles" and if we use the string * then we will get a list.
But if i do that, it is giving below information.
Last search returned 134 elements. This exceeded the defined max hits of 50. Narrow your search criteria and search again.
So,this information i got when i select the Search Recursive button, So, i want to know how to get these 134 list from User Management.

Thanks, but I figured it out. I just had to find the files in Windows under what would be considered a "drive." Once there, the photos all show up in a folder as JPEG files. Got the ones I needed.

How can I get settings files out of the Library folder?

I had to do a clean reinstall (erase & reinstall) to clear up some problems on my Mac. Unfortunately, when you do this, your settings, customizations, bookmarks etc. aren't transferred over as they do when you upgrade in the normal way.
For example, dashboard widgets are in each user's <home folder>/Library/Widgets folder.
I could restore some of these settings by dragging the settings files from the old System Folder to the new one. Unfortunately, Apple is making this harder by hiding the Library folder in the user folder, both on the Mac and on the backup drive.
There is a command to enter in Terminal to show your Library folder, but this only seemed to work on the Mac and not on my backup drive.
How can I get key settings files out of the Library folder on my backup drive when the Library folder is hidden?

Getting java.classNotFoundException even if the class is there

We've recently migrate to jdeveloper 11g production. Our fusion web application used to work perfectly with jdeveloper 11G P4 when running on OC4J. We use the whole ADF Framework on each business layer.
I'm getting java.classNotFoundException on 11G prod, and the strange thing is : class is present ! I've looked everywhere ; and made sure the missing class is just imported once (not twice or more, wich was the default case). Anyway, here's the log :

Hi,
are you sure that the library is deployed to the server?
Check the application in the deployed path on the server. If you don't find the library there check the Library and classpath in your project settings if the library which contains the jar has the checkbox 'deploy ba default' set.
