Getting Kuler Panel to work in Illustrator CC?

In Illustrator CC (MacOS), the panel is blank, except for this:
"The Kuler panel enables you to download color themes saved in your Kuler account. A valid Adobe ID is required to use this feature." And all the panel options are grayed out.
There doesn't seem to be any way to let Illustrator know that I (obviously) have a valid Adobe ID, and constant internet access -- hence being able to run CC apps, for instance.
When I go to kuler.adobe.com/, it knows who I am (via my Adobe ID), and I remain signed in there.
So what's the secret to connecting Kuler with Illustrator CC?

Yes, I am signed in to CC in Illustrator CC. Under the help menu, I do indeed see my ID and the option to sign out.
Under Preferences:Sync Settings, it says, "Signed in as: <blank>, and "Sync Settings Now' is grayed out.
If I hit the Manage Account button, it takes me to my cloud files in the web browser.
So I am apprently "half" signed in? :+)
If I go to the "Manage Acount" link, and look at "Manage Account," everything is correct and up-to-date. However, under "My Application Settings," it tells me that I do not have any synced settings. It also tells me to click the "Sync Settings Now" button, which is GRAYED OUT in Illustrator CC. :-(

Can't get "Edit Colors" to work in Illustrator CC

Hi. My boss just added Illustrator CC to my mac.
I'm not sure why, but I can't get "Edit Colors" to work in Illustrator CC.
When I select an object and try to reassign colors in the "Edit Colors" menu, the submenus are greyed out.
It works fine on Illustrator CS5, so I'm not sure what the problem is in CC.
Is this a bug or just a limitation of the CC trial period?
Can anyone please help with this?

I'm working with customer supplied files and often have to reassign colors to artwork for different projects.
I can assign colors with the color panel, but complex designs containing multiple pieces and layers can take for-ev-er to reassign colors that way.
Like I said, "edit colors" works fine in CS5, so I'm trying to figure out why it's not working in CC.
Appreciate any help the forum members can provide.

Why is the Kuler panel not syncing in Illustrator CC?

I love using the Kuler panel in illustrator but I downloded the new CC version and my color panel will not load my themes or allow me to browse other Kuler sets. Here is what I am seeing:
Then when I click on the Download My Themes button I get this:
Now I know I am not offline becasue I can still go on to the Kuler website and get themes and my login apears in the box above the Download button.
So how do I browse themse and get them in to Illustrator with in the application?

Sorry if this sounds like something you've already checked, but I need to ask - is your Adobe ID and the credential to enter the Kuler website the same? If they are, you should be able to browse your themes, and the public themes that you have liked.
Nevertheless, I'm checking with the team if there is anything else that could cause Illustrator CC to not download your themes and show you that error message.

Can't get Justify text to work in Illustrator CS4

Hi
When I open the Paragraph panel, I can make text left align, right, center, but no matter what Justify setting I click, my text just jumps to right aligninment.
How do I make it work?

You are working with Point Text. Point text is what you crete when you click and type, rather than click-and-drag, then type. Point type doesn't have left and right boundaries, so it's impossible to justify between the margins (it has none).

everyone here is right, dreamweaver is better and you will need to understand html for this to work. HOWEVER, you can make a functional website using just illustrator and notepad (or text edit if you're on a mac).

Save for web and select html and images, you'll get an html file and an images folder. Open the HTML file in your text editing program and it will look like this: http://s10.postimg.org/f32nf6r2h/html_stuff.jpg you'll have to know HTML codes but you can find tutorials online for most stuff, you'll just have to figure it out. In my fake site, i linked a button to google so i had to add <a href> tags to the code. http://s22.postimg.org/5avpadhch/a_href.jpg save the html file and open it in your web browser, hopefully not IE. Bamboo Pen Pressure not working in Illustrator only

I've search up and down these forums and all over the internet and still can't seem to get pressure sensitivity to work in Illustrator. It works absolutely fine in Photoshop, so why not Illustrator? I'm using a Bamboo Model: MTE-450A. Any help would be very appreciated as I'm in the middle of a project and need pressure sensitivity!

I'm just new to Illustrator and using Bamboo Pen and Touch. As far as I can tell you can only get pressure sensitivity when using brushes.
If you double click on the brush in the Brushes Panel there is a drop down menu for width where you need to select Pressure and adjust the slider values to your prefered setting.
I have made my own brush using the ellipse tool and tapering the ends to points. This gives me a really nice stroke for drawing outlines almost as if the Pencil Tool was pressure sensitive.

Kuler Panel doesn´t work

I´m trying to use the Kuler panel in Adobe Illustrator and when I open the panel I get a message saying:
Not connected. To continue, ensure that you are connected to the internet and that your preferences allow services to connect to the internet.
Since my computer IS connected to the internet and I couldn´t find any preference in Illustrator about internet connection, I have no idea what it ia talking about or how I can solve this problem
¿Has anyone encountered this problem? ¿Any idea how to solve it?

Did you repair your permissions or tried this You don't mention what platform I guess Windows,
I am not ceertain tha this is the correct path for your version of Windows they chang it each version
1. Quit Illustrator.
2. Rename the AIPrefs file (for example, to AIPrefs.old) in the Users/(user)/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS5 Settings folder.
3. Start Illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preferences file.
1. Quit Illustrator.
2.Go to User/username/Library/Preferences/ Adobe illustrator CS5 Settings and trash the settings folder, the whole folder not just the contents of the folder..
3. Start Illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preferences file.

How can I get saddle stitch to work across several chapters in the book panel?

I have been able to get saddle stitching to work perfectly if I print from a single InDesign document by going to “Print Booklet”. The problem I am having is that I can’t get it to work across several documents that are from the same book. The position of the pages is only correct from within the chapter that is selected. In other words it will put the first and last page number from the chapter on the same page but only from within that chapter not the whole book. The way saddle stitching should work is to have the first page of the book and the last page of the book on the same piece of paper. How can I get that to work? I have been flipping through books and the internet for quite some time and I can't find the answer to this.
Your help is much appreciated. I have been working on this book for a long time (my first one) and I am looking forward to finally getting this completed!

For some reason Adobe never saw it fit to allow Print Booklet to work from the Book Panel!
Weird
Workaround -
Export the Whole Book to a PDF
Create a new document of the same dimensions
Look up Zanelli Multi Page Import for InDesign
http://indesignsecrets.com/placing-all-the-pages-of-a-pdf-inside-indesign.php
Then Print Booklet from the New Document.
The important thing to remember is that InDesign is a page layout tool. Yes it can allow you output single documents in a booklet it's a nice feature.
Ultimately though impositions should be done by printers themselves using specialised Imposition Software.
If you need to do this quite often then I think you should look into Quite Imposing plugin for Acrobat.

I am trying to get the new Kuler panel for updated Ps CC 2014 from here

It looks like i have the CS6 and offers me to get the addon via exchanges panel for CS6

Jerome was using the French AI build. The Kuler panel is not available in the French Version of AI (Similar to AI CS6 and AI CS5).

I have the same problem, I have the creative cloud team 6, when I try to connect to kuler threw illustrator it says "A valid ADOBE ID is requiered to use this feature.
When I try to write username it's already written but ut's grey and there is no option to type in the field.
As well I downloaded the kuler air and when I enter to sign in it says: Error: klash please try again.
It has been like that for a few days, since I downloaded it.
working on MAC os x 10.8.4
Please help ASAP
