Getting made ringtones on iphone

I have had the same ringtone app since before itunes changed. I was able to get ringtones i would make back to my phone so i can use the ringtones. Now i made ringtones and itunes has become more complicated i cannot get into the app to save the ringtones onto my computer and back onto my iphone. Does anyone know how i can get my ringtones to the computer then back to the iphone so i can use them?

Hi, we just got our iphones 4S and had the same problem - I went into:Settings/Mail,contacts, calendars/Accounts: I noticed there that our same email address was entered in the Swbell area as well as the SBC area, so I deleted the email address from SBC and tested it and now I am only receiving each email once. I tested back & forth from computer to iphone and both are working great!

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

Need help with Itunes problem not being able to put custom made ringtone on iphone 4s.

My iphone 4s is running iOS7. My windows laptop is running the latest version of itunes, i follow instructions everywhere to get the ringtone i made onto my cellphone and i get stuck where it says to go to the apps tab and then scroll down till you see the apps you have and choose the app that you made the ringtone with. Well when i select apps it just goes to the app store, it doesn't do anything else. How in the world do i get that to come up so i can move the ringtone from the app to my phone??? please help!

Where are the ringtones now?
If they are on your iphone and not your computer, then put them on your computer from your iphone: FIle>Devices>Transfer Purchases
Then sync them to the other iphone

i need help in finding how to purchase music ringtones from itunes! I have a iphone and have tried purchasing music from itunes and attempting to create a ringtone only to find that it can not be created into a ringtone, is there any way to find out prior to purchasing the song if it has the ability to be created into a ringtone?

Apparently, Apple wants you to buy the song, then check to see if it can be made into a ringtone. They must have believed that the ringtone icon was too confusing for people. Now most people are refusing to pay $1.29, then an additional $0.99 for a ringtone.

I have a ringtone in the ringtone section of iTunes. I'm sure I put it there when I changed the .mp3 version of it into an .m4r version prior to putting it onto my iPhone.

Edit > Preferences. Select the check box for Ringtones, this will add them to the listing in iTunes.

A note about me... I don't watch movies, listen to music, play games, tweet, twitter, or any of that. I use my phone as a phone, have a few basic apps that I find useful. I use of the camera to capture the needed documentation every so often. I want ring tones to separate out work from personal contacts and I have a few that I want to load on my phone.

Can only be done if you have an IMAP or Exchange account. You create the folders on the server & they will then sync to all of your devices. Not possible with a POP account, & locally created folders(on your computer) cannot sync to any of your devices. Same with mail rules, they must be done at the server level.

I lost my ringtones from my phone when I upgraded to iOS 6 on my iPhone 4. The ringtones are still on my computer and play in iTunes, but they won't re-transfer back to the phone. I'm using the correct iTunes account on both my computer and phone. In the iPhone view of iTunes on my computer, it shows that my phone recognizes that I had those ringtones, but there is an exclamation mark showing that my phone can't find the files. I can't delete these "placeholders" from my phone with the hopes of re-transfering the files back to the phone, either. I cannot just simply re-transfer the files from my computer back to the phone. It won't let me using the regular synch options and I can't find anything in the menus of iTunes to help me out either.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I just bought an iphone and i downloaded one ringtone from itunes on the phone. I had to exchange the phone because of some problems with it. I can't figure out how to get my ringtone back. It says that I purchased it, but its not in downloads on the new iphone or on my itunes on my computer.

Did you download through the computer or directly onto the iPhone?
If it was direct on the iPhone-did you transfer it to iTunes by using "transfer purchases"?
If it is not showing up in iTunes-you did not back it up in iTunes and will have to repurchase it.

So why doesn't Apple tell you that ICloud won't back up your ringtones? It states " Automatically bck up your camera roll, accounts, documents and settings when IPhone is plugged in, locked, and connected to WiFi" Nowhere does it state it doesn't back up ringtones. If it backs up my music, then why doesn't it back up ringtones? I had my ringtones on my ITunes, but when I updated that, they are gone too! It just seems to me Apple is trying to purposely get you to continuously purchase their services, even when you go out your way to back them up. Had I known this, I would have backed everything up on my PC again. This is very disappointing.
