Getting mkldflags error in Oracle 11gR2 installation on Solaris 10..

Hi Guys,
I am installing Oracle 11gR2 on Solaris 10 Server, but on 79%, I am getting below error :
Error in invoking target 'mkldflags ntcontab.o nnfgt.o' of makefile '/u4/ORA11/app/ora11/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk'.
checked make.log, below is the error message:

If you have met all of the prereqs outlined in the Install Guide, then pl open an SR for this issue

I known that Ubuntu ( and i'm talking about 10.04 or his latest version) is not the official version of OS for Oracle, but I'm trying do to a different work with students and they are more familiar with Ubuntu interface, but, when i'm trying to do Oracle installation on Ubuntu machine, i'm getting different kind of errors and i can't successfully finalize the installation. As you stated, Ubuntu is not a certified distro for Oracle installs - so errors should be expected. Google for sites (like http://www.pythian.com/blog/installing-oracle-11gr2-enterprise-edition-on-ubuntu-10-04-lucid-lynx/) where others have documented their experiences. Also, just because you are able to install the software successfully does not mean it will work as advertised.

Oracle 11GR2 installation Prerequsite check - IZ42940 failed

Oracle 11GR2 installation Prerequisite check fails with the following:
OS PATCH : IZ42940 failed
OS PATCH : IZ49516 failed
OS PATCH : IZ52331 failed
I have AIX 5.3 level with the patch level as below:-

If I check at OS , I get

The fix-numbers are only valid for one AIX TL - this means if the installer was released with TL 05 (for example) .. you will get this message if you are using TL 12 now, because of the fix numbers have changed.
The only way to verify it is to go to the following IBM page and check the fix numbers for your TL.

After the update to Android 5.0.1 my Galaxy Gear S will not install apps, I get an error message that says "Installation Failed. Try Later. (WO:WO:-1002)

After the update to Android 5.0.1 on my Galaxy Note 4, my Galaxy Gear S will not install apps, I get an error message that says "Installation Failed. Try Later. (WO:WO:-1002). I am glad it was a free app I was trying to install (I tried a couple of different ones to see if it was just a bad app and they all failed on the install. The Note 4 and the Gear S seem to be communicating okay via bluetooth (health stuff syncs, Gear S controls the music player on the note 4 Etc. )

Everything that I had installed previously on the gear S still works.
Everthing while in the gear manager seems to be working okay also. I can make changes in the Gear manager on the note 4 and they show up on the gear S. I have an app called watch styler , it let me create a new watch on the Note 4 and that showed up on the Gear S.
The only thing that seems to be not working is installing new apps.
When trying to get a new app it looks like it is working as normal , the dowload shows it is working but it errors out when it goes to install it.

The 11gR2 installation on Solaris 10 sparc failed with prereuisite 124861-15.
When I tried to install the patch 124861-20, it failed with the following(see below):
I have Sun Studio 12-2 installed on the system.
It was complaining that some packages (SPROmrcom, SPROlangx, SPROlang,SPROsunms ) are not installed.
Where can I get these packages? Should not it be included in the Sun Studio 12-2 installation?

Oracle 11gR2 installation problem on Windows Server 2008 R2 datacenter

I am trying to install Oracle 11Gr2 64 bit on Windows server 2008 R2.The system configuration is "Intel Xeon, RAM 8.00 GB.
i
The installation is getting paused at the 8th step of Oracle installation.Neither i am getting any error message nor an entry is recorded in the Oracle inventory log.
It is showing a blank screen after the prerequiste checks are complete.

Thanks for the response. The database is still not created to check in the Alert log .It is still in the phase of pre-requisite checks. I did not go with Silent installation.It is a plain single instance installation.
The installation screen is greyed out with out any message or error.
Please could you share if you have any thoughts on this.

Oracle 11gR2 Installation on Win7 Pro (Net Configuration Assistant failed)

I opted to create a starter database as part of the installation.
The error occurs "during installation" while trying to do the database configurations.
(I did try once without installing and configuring the Loopback adapter (With and without plugging into the network).
Later I read some of the problems with DHCP and installed/configured the Loopback adapter.
Then tried Installing Oracle 11gR2 (With and without plugging into the network)
But end up getting stuck at the same Net Configuration Assistant failure).
Any advise ?

Error installing Oracle 11gR2 on OEL 5.2

I get an error where all the pre-requisite checks fail and get the error:
PRVF-7531 Physcial memory check cannot be perfomed on node "oradbsrv1"
I have 2GB of RAM and can't seem to find a solution to this problem on doing a google search..
Does anyone know what might be wrong ?

Error while Oracle 10g Installation suse linux

All i am facing issue while installing Oracle 10g release 2 on open suse.
All test are getting passed but getting a error reltated to ip address as follows.

Oracle 11gR2 Installation on OEL 5.5 - glibc-devel-2.5 (i386) missing

Hi,
In the Process of installing Oracle 11gR2 on OEL 5.5, I get an error when running OUI GUI. At the Prerequisite Check screen, I get the following error:
This is a prerequisite condition to test whether the package "glibc-devel-2.5" is available on the system. (more details)
Expected Value : glibc-devel-2.5 (i386)
Actual Value : missing
** Same message is continued for another 3 packages libaio-devel-0.3.106 (i386) , unixODBC-2.2.11 (i386) , unixODBC-devel-2.2.11 (i386).
As part of my prerequisite checklist, i did YUM update and validated.

Error during oracle 8i installation on nt: orancrypt8.dll

Hi,
During oracle installation i get this error "can't copy orancrypt8.dll to orancrypt8.dll.bak". how do i solve this? the oracle is not working..pls help me out

8i hasn't been supported in years. I haven't seen NT in quite a while, I'm pretty sure Microsoft desupported that a while ago. Are you really trying to install a desupported version of Oracle on a desupported version of Windows?

We are getting following error while installing AIA11g on Windows-32bit machine. This machine has a working setup of Oracle SOA suite 11g (V11.1.1.3.0) and admin server, managed server and node manager, all 3 were running at the time of AIA installation.

You can try running the setup.exe with the -novalidation option. This should allow you to go through without issues at this stage.
