Getting music from another account created on my computer

I used to have an account with AOL. I purchased about $200 worth of music on this account. I have since deactivated my AOL account. How do I get the music that I bought under this account. AOL will not give me a person to talk to, and I can't figure out how to get my music by going through the help systems on Itunes or AOL. Does anybody know how I can access these songs? Thanks!

If you lost it, you don't have it, so it is impossible to transfer.
However, you would have synced it with itunes (where you saved the music originally on your computer), just sync the new iPod with itunes and you'll be able to get all your music from there.

Trying to authorize my iTunes to play music from another account

I was trying to play music from another account in my iTunes. I got the message that my computer isn't authorized. I entered the email address and password of the account with which the music purchased and got another message that says "This computer is already authorized. Including this one, you have authorized 4 computers out of your available 5." Yet, I am still unable to play the music in my iTunes. Suggestions? Thanks.

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:

Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

I have multiple itunes accounts... can i sign into all of them and drag music... without having to sync them all?... is that what home sharing is? please help.. i use to be able to get music from any account but now it says im already attached to one!

When you delete items (movies, music, whatever) from your iTunes library the sync software automatically deletes those items from your iPod. The sync's goal is to make your iPod mirror your iTunes library.
When you use the "only sync checked items" it tells the software that <only> those items are to be on your iPod -it will delete other items from that category.
I don't have a video iPod to test with, but I think your only option is to sync everything you want onto your iPod, and then turn off sync completely, in favor of manual updates.

This is one of the many reasons that always maintaining a backup is very important.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
Your purchase history is only a list of your purchases. There are no files there.

I had another account with apple with was [email protected] but i had to give that one to my boyfriend cause i gave him my old my ipad and he didnt have a email account so i let him use that one which i had bought so ablums on that account and i had to have dell restart my whole comp just a few days ago and now i cant get the ablums i bought on the other account onto my new account with my iphone what can i do to get that fixed?

Content acquired with an Apple ID is permanently tied to that Apple ID. There is no way to transfer media from one Apple ID to another.
For what silly reason would anyone give away their Apple ID? Just because the bf did not have one is no reason to give him your Apple ID. Make him create his own. Email addresses from Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail and many others are free.

Getting Music from Another Country

Im a big fan of japanese rock and other music but it wont let me purchase music under the japanese music store. Can anyone tell me how to do this or if it is possible.

Expanding a bit, in order to buy from another country's iTunes Music Store, you must have either:
a) a credit card with a billing address in that country, or
b) a mailing address in that country and a gift certificate or a prepaid card that was bought in that country.
If you cannot fulfill one of these two sets of conditions, you will not be able to purchase from any given country's iTMS.
This, BTW, is due to restrictions placed on Apple by the record companies and other rights holders (who are often completely different from country to country and so all require their own individual negotiations and contracts), not by Apple's choice.
Forum Tip: Since you're new here, you've probably not discovered the Search feature available on every Discussions page, but next time, it might save you time (and everyone else from having to answer the same question multiple times) if you search a couple of ways for a topic before you post a question.

Getting music from another computer

I am trying to download music from a different computer onto my iPod but I don't seem to be able to override the "auto-sync" function. I don't want to erase what is already on there, I just want to add new songs, but as soon as I choose "cancel" (when it asks if I want to "erase and sync") all traces of the iPod disappear from the computer. I can't even get to a point with the iPod on the "devices" list in iTunes. And I can't get to the iPod from "My Computer" after I have chosen to cancel the automatic sync. Does anyone know how to help me with this?

You can't do this.
iPod shuffle's can only have music loaded on to them from one computer at a time.

If you have any iTMS purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers has been introduced with iTunes 7. A paragraph on it has been added to this article: Transfer iTunes Store purchases using iPod
The transfer of non iTMS content such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there is a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows. The procedure is a bit involved but if you're interested it's posted in this thread: MacMuse - iPod to iTunes
If you prefer something more automated then there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. This is just a selection, you'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos and photos as well. HELP ME PALEEEZE!!!! how to get music from iPOD to iTUNES on new computer

I bought this iPOD overseas and started the music downloading thing from the iTUNES on my friends' computer.
Now I'm back home in the states and have my own computer and don't have a clue how to get the music from my iPOD to MY computer.
How can I get ALL this music from my iPOD to MY computer? I don't want to lose all this music b/c I don't have the cd's b/c I got the music from someone else.
I'm new to this iPOD game as you can tell any help would be greatly appreciated. Please help me!!!!!!!

Music purchased from the iTunes store can be transferred to your iTunes library by authorizing your computer for the Apple ID(s) used to purchase them, then connecting your phone to your computer, opening iTunes and going to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. However, music from other sources must be extracted from your phone using 3rd party software such as Touch Copy, then imported to your iTunes library.

The trick is to get legal copies of the music for yourself, and not steal it.
