Getting My Pictures Back Onto My iPod Touch 4th Generation

I recently sent my iPod Touch 4th gen. to Apple to get repaired. and before I sent it I backed it up with iTunes, 2 times to be sure, and then I reset my iPod. I just got it back today, and I got everything back but my photos. Is there any way I can get them back? I have very important pictures that I can't get back if I don't get the pictures back on my iPod. If anyone can do anything to help me I'd really appreciate it.

How did the photos get on the iPod?
- If they were taken by are saved to the iPod then they would be in the Camera Roll album. That Album is included in both the iCloud backup and iPod backup that iTunes makes. Restoring from the backup will restore those photo if they were in the backup. IfTry restoring again if necessary
- If the photos were synced to the iPod they are not in either iCloud or iTunes backup and yo will have to get the photos from where you obtained them before and then resync them to the iPod.

I have had my ipod touch 4th generation for a couple months now.... Nowhere in the manuals or help sections does it tell me how to make individual pucture files(like that already on my computer) put onto my ipod touch.... I managed to make one and I can't remember how I did it but when I have the touch hooked up to itunes and try to pick which picture files from my computer to sync, a box always opens and says that it will delete everything in the original photo library that was in there.....
Can anyone help me there has to be away, I know someone has done it but they don't live here to show me!!!!
    Please and thanx in advance!!!!!!!

where on my computer am I suppose to make the individual picture files and have them to upload on my ipod touch.... • Will iOS 6.1.3 on the iPod Touch 4th generation ever get a software update for the iPod Touch 4th Generation

Will iOS 6.1.3 on the iPod Touch 4th generation ever get a software update

    Not likely
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory. The 4G iPod only has 256 MB

  • How to get rid of white icons on ipod touch 4th generation

How do you get rid of white icons on the ipod touch 4th generation.  I tried resetting it already.
    Thanks,

First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely.  Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again.

  • How do I get my music back on my Ipod touch 4th gen?

I was following the steps on how to sync my musc on to my Ipod touch 4th gen and when i was doing that i lost everything single song i ever had on my ipod (songs i bought and songs i downloaded) except for like 2 songs. How do i get all my songs back on there?

You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    For how to sync:
iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPod
Note that you can only sync with one computer/iTunes library. If you switch libraries/computers, the synced media on the iPod gets deleted.

  • How do I recover photos that were NOT backed up from ipod touch 4th generation?

I have a iPod Touch (4TH Genration). It was frozen for two days straight on the apple logo. I kept holding the two keys and tried to connect it to itunes and it wouldn't budge. On the third day I conected it to itunes, and it told me that it nedded to be restored and that my photos would be backed up. Now here I am with a funny acting ipod and NO photos!
Does anyone know how to get photos that were not backed up?

  • How do I get old pictures off of my Ipod nano 4th generation? I don't care to save them, I just want them off.

I've had the Ipod for a while (by 4th generation, I figured you could tell), and I just want to get the pictures off of it so I have more space for music. I can't figure out how to do so, so any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hello Bekahl,
It sounds like you have photos on your iPod nano that you would like to remove. These pictures would have had to have been synced over through iTunes from a folder on your computer. This article outlines how to sync photos to your device, but you can also use it to disable photo syncing and remove them as well:
    iTunes: Syncing photos
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4236
To delete synced photos and videos from your device
In iTunes, click the Device button in the upper right corner. (If viewing the iTunes Store, click the Library button in the upper-right corner first.)
Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Note: To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos."
    Click Apply.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling

  • Is there any way to retrieve pictures from a lost iPod touch (4th generation)?

I lost my iPod awhile back and it had some really important photos on it. It recently has been bugging me a lot and can't seem to find anything to solve my problem.

If they are an iTunes backup of your iPod then extract them by:
How to perform iPad recovery for photos, videos
Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS: iPhone Data Recovery - Wondershare Official
    http://www.amacsoft.com/ipod-data-recovery.html
Restore another iOS device (iPod touch, iPad or iPhone) from the the iCloud or iTunes backup of your iPod.
If the photos were in your PhotosStream only the last 30 dys (from today, not when it was lost) will be restored

  • Is the silver ring on the back of an iPod touch 4th generation important?

I noticed it had come out a little bit because I could feel it stick out but this morning I noticed it wasn't there so it must have fallen out. Is it important?

It tends to only protect the camera lens from being scratched. If you use a case then the missing ring would not be a concern.

  • I can't uppdate my ipod touch 4th generation. What should I do?

I can't back up my ipod touch 4th generation. What do I do?

At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

  • Lost all my music on my iPod touch. Now I can't reload it from my computer because it states that it is in the cloud. How do I get my music back on my iPod touch so I can listen when I'm out of wifi range.

I was trying to fix the "ghost" songs on my ipod touch 4th generation today. Somehow I ended up deleting all my songs from the touch. Now when I try to get them back from my computer it states that they have to be downloaded from the icloud first. Don't know how to do this or why I can't just drag and drop the music from the computer back onto my ipod touch.

    Follow the instructions here:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
