So I deleted twitch so I could fix a crashing bug to find that it now requires ios 7.0 and I have 5.1.1 please help. Thank you.

App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
If the App Store on the iPad will not let you download the older version of the app, download the latest version of the app in iTunes on your computer. Then go to the purchased tab of the App Store on the iPad and when you attempt to download it there, it should, give you the option of downloading the version that will work with iOS 5 - as long as it is still available from the developer.

The only way is to jailbreak and download cracked apps, but I would recommend you wouldn't do that as this is piracy and jailbreaking is illegal in some countries.

I have the same problem. I have many Apple software in use like iMovie, Keynote, iPhoto, FinalCut. When I do setup another Mac I always use 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. I need this because of PPC Software thats important for my work. But then I need Software that runs on 10.6.
So how can I get the older versions? I suppose Apple wants us to buy it for each machine we run, right? But if I do not get older versions in the store, I only can use copies of the downloads I made earlier.
As I see it, Apple does force us to always use the newest system. I do not like that. -

No, not unless you previously downloaded an older version on iTunes on the computer and it is still on the computer somewhere.

When iTunes upgrades apps the old ones are sent to the trash, so if you lost your old version recently (or you don't empty your trash bin often) it should be sitting in the trash clearly labeled with the app name and version. Once you find the version you want you can move it to the "Automatically Add to iTunes" folder (this is the path /Users/[your acct here]/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Automatically Add to iTunes but its easier to just search for the folder in any finder window...) and iTunes will revert to to older version.
I then sync'd my ipod touch and turned off the sync apps afterward, so I dont unnecessarily lose my compatible versions.

As I understand iCloud does not physically stores apps from my iOS device, but is able to get them for me if I need them to restore.
What happens if iCloud won't have an app version compatible with my iOS (e.g. when my iOS will be outdated)?
Is iCloud obtaining apps from AppStore? Does it have a separate database where it keeps all older versions of apps??Anyone?

I have an ipod touch 2nd generation, and as I can see that updating it beyond os 4.1 isn't an option, I would like to get back some of the older versions of apps that now are updated on my itunes and cannot be put on my ipod. My app store won't let me download none of the older versions of apps for my ipod touch 2g.
My app store won't let me download any of the older versions of an app, but in my sisters case she can and she has an ipod touch 2g just like me. She was able to download kik, twitter, instagram, and some more apps that told me I had to have ios 4.3.1 or higher to download. and theres only one app I want and its kik, can someone help me figure out whats wrong with my app store, it would be a great help.

Trying to download and install the latest version of itunes but at install i get"older version of Bonjour connot be removed" then asks me to contact tech support and download is stopped.
Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another install. Does it go through this time?
