Getting one sound to stop and another to start on button press?

I've searched on this topic with several keywords to no
avail.
I have a sound playing (1.wav). I would like that sound to
stop playing and another (2.wav) to start when a button is pressed.
How do I do this?
So far I can either I can have both sounds playing, or
neither (stopallsounds) when it's clicked; but I would like to stop
1.wav and start 2.wav and can't figure it out. Help!

How are you using sounds in your movie? Exported to frame 1

    At the top of the playlist where it shows the playlist title and the number of songs, there are two icons. Click the "play" triangle to add the entire playlist to "Up Next", or the "shuffle" symbol to do the same thing but in random order. But the currently playing track will stop playing, and all the songs in "Up Next" will be removed (replaced by the ones from this playlist).
    If you hold down the "option" key while clicking those icons, the currently playing song will continue playing, and the new playlist will be added to "Up Next" (above the songs that were already there).

    GR/IR accounts are not dependent on Vendors, they are dependent on Materials, to be precise on Plant/Valclass.
    You can post to 2 different GR/IR accounts if you set up 2 different classes. then it is possible.
    For setting up the same. Go to T.code : OBYC, Transaction : WRX.
    Here Setup different GR/IR accounts per val.class.

    I am working on a friend of mine's 15g ipod(W/dock connector)and I am having the same trouble except it does it to all the songs. I have tried reseting it multiple times, but to no avail.
    I am not sure that this runs on windows XP, it is absolutly archaic (compared to my 5th gen. 30g video).

    Hello,
    Over 2 days, as I watch Netflix, or listen to music on other apps, my sound randomly stops and starts.  I have no control of it.  I do not have to touch my ipod when this happens, it does this on its own.  On for 20 min, off for 5 min, on for 5, off for 2, on for 1 min, off for 15 min.  It ossolates randomly through time.
    I hard reboot, but this works or does not work (for a while).  Any ideas?

    Your problem is that your iPod is not sensing that your headset is inserted. There is a pin inside the headphone port on the Nano that senses if it is inserted fully. If it does not sense anything, it will pause playback to save battery power when the screen dims. Here are the solutions:
    Insert it fully. This will fix it for most of you. Press that thing in there all the way. You should feel and hear a full click when it is fully seated. If you can see ANY silver of the headset jack, it is not fully inserted.
    Debris inside the headset port. If you are totally unable to push the headset jack all the way, the most likely problem is that you have crud inside your headphone jack. Try blowing it out or slapping it against your palm with the headset port facing your palm to try and get the stuff out. If you look into he jack with a light, you should be able to see to the bottom. The entire inside of the headset port is white, so if it looks dark at the bottom, that is the crud that is keeping your nano from working.
    Headset jack or plug issue. If you cannot solve the problem with 1 or 2, then there is likely something physically wrong with either the headset jack on your headphones or the headset port on the nano.
    If none of the above works, you need to take it to the Apple store or wherever you purchased it. I think they are still under warranty.

  • Getting one window to progress to another using swing

    Ive got to design a simple quizgame interface using Swing. Its got to have a player's front-end - gives a selection of questions where the user selects one of five answers, a scoring front-end - displayed after game that allows user to enter their name and a manager's front-end - used to enter questions. The thing is I only have to design the interface. I want to have a front window that leads to the managers front end, scoreboard, and game seperatley. I also want the system to report back when the players got the question wrong or right and then take them to a scoreboard. I dont know how to keep this all seperate from the normal code in the program being written by someone else. I also dont know how to make one window lead to another etc. Please can someone help. does anyone have some code I coulkd adapt for this purpose Im really stuck!!!

  • Using one counter with FiniteSamps and another with ContSamps

    I am trying to use 2 counters on the USB-6229 (or USB-6259), where one counter is set up for FiniteSamps and another for ContSamps. I have the following MeasurementStudio code:

    When I run it, I get a run-error 50103 "The specified resource is reserved". If I change the FiniteSamps to ContSamps on the first counter, everything works fine.
    If I use only one counter with FiniteSamps, everything also works fine.
    Is this a bug in DAQmx or the dual counter use on M-series devices is limited to ContSamps?

    Hi Vic,
    This is actually expected on an M Series device.  Here's a timing diagram from the M Series User Manual that might make this a bit more clear:
    The device actually uses one counter to gate the other so the result is a finite pulse generation.  If you can provide the gate from another source, you may configure a continuous pulse generation on both counters and gate them (DAQmx calls this a "Pause Trigger") from this external signal. 
    You might also want to look into using Correlated Digital I/O to generate multiple finite pulses (up to 32 lines on your 6229 and 6259).  You could use one of the counters to generate a timebase for the digital lines, and build the waveform accordingly.
    One thing to note is that our new X Series boards can generate a finite pulse generation on a "single" counter (there is actually a paired internal counter that allows for this).  There are four user-accessible counters on X Series devices, meaning you could generate four finite pulse trains.

    Why is the signal at my home so much weaker than it was when I moved here in February 2013?  I get only one or two bars and very poor data service if any at all.  Calling to ask the question results in a vortex of questions that have little to do with the problem and no  resolution or answer.

    I have a Droid Ultra phone.  The signal reduction seems to only be in the general area of my home.  If I go downtown, the signal improves to what it once was at home.  Everything at my home is as it was when the signal was good, including cable TV service.  There has been no new construction in the area that I know of.
    Thanks for trying to resolve the issue.  Just this morning while trying to view web pages, I found that I could not load any.
