Getting OutOfMemoryError -- Help!

Hi all,
Anyone knows how to increase memory size of MSJVM??
I have web services written in VB6 and running on IIS. Inside web service function, it calls java classes provided by vendor through J++. We package it in dll and register that in our webserver so that it can be called in VB6 web service functions.
Now my problem is I keep getting "java.lang.OutOfMemory" error.
Any idea how I can resolve it?? If I remove MSJVM and install java JVM, will it be better? Even i migrate to java JVM, how am I supposed to set the heap size of Java JVM because I don't know when the JVM gets loaded from IIS ??

If you are using MSJVM then I can only think of two causes of your java.lang.OutOfMemory.
1. Your page file isn't big enough for all the process you are running.
2. You are on a 32bit hardware or you are running 32bit OS/or 32bit VB6 on 64bit hardware and you have reached the limits of the 32bit address space for memory on Windows for your VB6 application.

I need some help with my configuration regarding
the listener (version 2.0.1.64.14.25 as stand alone with Application Express 4.2.1.00.08):
I consume (via $.ajax(...)) a REST-Webservice for request a clob value.
Configuration of my Ressource Handler:
method: GET
Requires Secure Access: No
source type: "Query one Row"
Pagination Size: 1
Source: select id, col3 from csvloader where id = :ID
This works as excepted until I want to load a value that is bigger then 65 kb.
In my cmd box, where the listener is stated, I noticed the following error:
22.03.2013 14:18:49 oracle.dbtools.rt.web.WebErrorResponse internalError
SCHWERWIEGEND: Java heap space
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
("SCHWERWIEGEND" means "fatal" in german)
In order to avoid this error, I tried to increase the heap space:
java -Xms500m -Xmx1024m -jar apex.war
-> no change, still getting OutOfMemoryError (HTTP 500 Errorcode)
Any suggestions, hints?

I'm still working on this topic. I updated the listener to the newest version 2.0.2.133.14.47
but this is not a solution for my problem.
Steps I've done:
- raised JVM-Memory: GlassFish -> JVM configuration -> JVM options: add/set "-Xmx1024m" and "-XX:MaxPermSize=256m"
- raise "-Xmx1024m" to "-Xmx1224m" -> glassfish doesn-'t start
Maybe I have a problem with my os: I use windows XP (32bit) in a virtual machine. Seems that JVM don't get enough
memory. On the other hand, I just want to get about 65 - 72,5 KB from a blob-field to my browser....
Any suggestions for me?

Something might be preventing Photoshop from being able to save your selection on the dialog window properly. You might try right clicking and choose Run as Administrator on the Photoshop icon when launching (Windows) or test if the behavior persists when using a newly created admin user account.

You can't view your back up files at icloud.com.
You can't view your camera roll and you can't view your Photo Stream files at icloud.com.
The icloud back up plan allows you to "restore" your iOS device from the files you backed up at icloud.com.

What's the origin of this external drive? It sounds very much like it's a Windows-formatted (NTFS) drive which Macs can't write to. If you can, copy the files off the drive, reformat it as Mac format (using Disk Utility) and copy the files back. If you need to continue writing to it from a Windows PC, you should format it ExFAT in Disk Utility.

I just bought a new 2TB time capsule and I am so frustrated that I cant get any help!!!!!

Yesterday, I bought a new (4th gen) 2TB TC to replace by mid 2007 500gb TC. I did this simple to upgrade the wirelass capability to the very latest as the wifi in our home is intermittent. I also bought a Zepplin recently so that i could use Airplay to stream music but the wifi is also intermittent, it works when it wants to and not usually when when i want it too!! Hence the purchase of a new TC for £249.
The instructions on the Apple site and in the instruction book all say it is so easy to set up the TC and the wireless network.
So here I am , 24 hours later and frustrated at having spent hours and hours and gotten no-where. Ive logged calls with Apple Support and even though I am sat by the phone they keep emailing me saying they've tried to reach me and if I still need help then to rearrange a call!! But I'm here!!!
Here's my problem (apart from the desire to take the TC back and get a refund)...
- when I open Airport Utility (6.2), I get a picture that shows the world and the word Internet with a line to the time capsule but all the instructions that I have found and read say that I should get a dialogue box that lists the devices on the left hand side. The instructions with the TC say I open AU and follow the instructions and prompts - what instructions and prompts, there arnt any!!!
- also, the picture does NOT pick up the 2 airport expressess in the house that I used to extend the wirelass network on the previous TC
- there is no option to extend the wireless network
- every now and then the TC light goes Yellow and airport utility "looses" the TC
- TC seems to want to back up the entire MAC (c350gb) but it is doing so at a very slow speed and only did about 2.5gb over night. I dont mind a whole new backup to the new TC but it cant be right that it will take 19 days (the last time I looked!)
My main frustration is that the so-called simple instructions dont seem to replate at all to my system and I'm frustrated because I dont know where to go to get any help....and if Apple email me one more time to say they cant reach me then I will definately take the TC back!!
Can anyone help me?
p.s. sorry for the rant, i though this would be a half hour job to upgrade my wirelass and is turning into a nightmare!

You need to reconfigure the Expresses to rejoin the TC's network via a factory reset.

I am getting the following exception while trying to attach a search help to a drop down list box.The field belongs to a table on the BW server which has an explicit search help attached to it.I am getting the following exception:

I was actually not using the f4 help of the
IF_BSP_SERVICES class. Now I want to implement this as I have got many fields on my page. But I am getting the above mentioned error while doing this. The Code in OnInitialization() is:

Apple don´t care about us users, unless you pay for an Apple Care Service. Try your best to follow some advices from around this forum. That´s the only help you will get.
Some people have got their iChat video working again after following some advice. By the way. I´m not one of them... I´ve tried every single tip I read here, but I´m still stuck with text chat only...

Are you trying to log in to ExportPDF from Reader? If so, please make sure that you have the most current version by choosing Help > Check for Updates in Reader. You should be using version 11.0.07 (Mac OS) or 11.0.08 (Windows)--earlier versions caused this sign-in error that you're seeing.

How to get online help when creat new filter files in EDS?

I want to creat some my own filter files in order to get Event report from network management station when some special situations appear.
I have run /opt/CSCOpx/bineds -filter,and the Named Filter window appears,I select new a file,later select "add Generic events",during this course I tried to get online help with Help Icon, but the messages:"could not run netscape to display help netscape:not found."appears.
But I have install the netscape in the directory /opt/netscape, why it can't be found?I want to know whether there is some conf file in some place that has named a path name for the netscape diffrent from /opt/netscape.Is ther any such files?Thanks very much!
