Getting Personal Information to display on screen during "Standby"

I've just been given a new Blackberry Curve 8900 in exchange for the one that broke with the trackball fault mentioned here a couple of weeks ago.
They couldn't repair it in the time-frame allocated so they sent me a new one. It's very nice but the software has changed a little bit - though I Restored all my settings and data from the Backup I did on the Desktop Manager.
What I find with this new one is that when you switch to STANDBY (using the top left edge button) the Personal Information I programmed in to the phone ie Name Address and home phone number plus number of the mobile, doesn't appear on screen the way it used to on the old phone. All I get is a blank black display.
Hours of searching has met with failure to find any way of swtiching this "on" and I can only conclude that possibly in this newer build of the same model, they've stopped it doing that display.
The Version of this new phone is.
v5.0.0.681 (Platform 5.2.0.67)
Branding Version 1.0.125.533B
Does anyone know if they have pulled that facility from the phone or whether I've not set something correctly?

Hello Plado,
With the 5.0 handheld software platform, the Owner Information is only displayed when the BlackBerry is locked using a password.

3G Nano: How do I get my photos to display full-screen?

I have a 3G Nano.
When I go into PHOTOS the left 1/2 of the screen is always taken up by the menu selections and I have not yet figured out how to get the photos to display full screen. What am I doing wrong?
Please excuse... this is my first iPod...

Select "All Photos" from the menu to the left of those half pictures. Press the center button and you will get "thumb nails of your photos. Run your finger around the touch wheel and a yellow box will highlight the picture. If you start with the first picture and press the center button again you will bring up a full screen pict. To go to the next pict use the touch wheel in a clockwise manner to see each pict. Go to back to the photo menu and go to settings to try out some neat tricks and even add music. Don't ever be worried about asking a question. The only dumb question is the one you didn't ask! I got my nano yesterday and I have some questions that the "help" didn't address also

Any way to get Illustrator CS5 to display full screen mode like Photoshop?

Is there any way to get Illustrator's screen modes to behave like Photoshop's screen modes?
One of the things I like most about Photoshop is the way it toggles from standard screen mode to "full screen with menu bar" to just "full screen".
For example, in Photoshop's standard mode, the window is no bigger than the size of the canvas. Why can't Illustrator do that?
And, is there anyway to get Illustrator CS5 to display the full screen mode where the background outside the artboard or canvas is black instead of white. Working in Illustrator for long hours, it would much easier on my eyes if the surrounding background could be black like in Photoshop.

At the bottom of the Tool bar is a toggle button (F) which will change the Screen Mode.

If your just opening the html file from a link within your site, then you could code the link to open in a new window at full size. This is not done through RH, but instead on the site where its linking to your webhelp index.html page. Its relatively simple, and you can customise things like viewable buttons, scroll bars etc etc.

Cannot get Month and Year display off screen

In Iphoto 6 I have photos that I imported. I cannot get the middle dark oval in the center of the screen to stop displaying on the photos.
It makes it very difficult to edit the photos when I cannot see the center of the photo.

New MacBook Pro, unable to get past the select your country screen during initial setup.

I purchased a new MacBook Pro last night and am unable to get past the initial setup screen where you select your country. The mouse will move around, but won't actually allow me to click on 'continue'. I've also tried the keyboard commands to move to the next screen. Nothing...

I just experienced this, and I am recording the solution here for posterity. I got through the setup using the keyboard (tab to move between controls and space to select), thinking that the mouse click would work when I got through it. But I was dismayed to find that it did not ...
... at least so I thought! But actually, you have to push down the mouse pad, NOT just tap it. You can turn on tap-to-click later, but at the start you must push it until it audibly clicks. It is not obvious if you are used to Windows laptop mouse pads like me, where tap-to-click is the ubiquitous norm.

Sadly your credit card info is easy to pickup from the following insecure methods:
1. Connecting to a passwordless WiFi, or one with just WEP or WPA version 1 encryption. Always use WPA2. Make sure your password is not in any dictionary of any language.
2. Delete all browser cookies for retailers that have had credit card transactions before using the computer in a WiFi hotspot that has no password requirements.
3. Connecting to a website without at least 128 bit RSA key encryption and entering your credit card number in such a website. Browsers have a method of determining your encryption either by clicking the lock icon, or hovering over the lock icon, or viewing the web browser security settings. When making online transactions, do not save your credit card number to any website, and secure the website you are making a transaction with, with a password that isn't found in any dictionary.
4. Look at your credit card receipts wherever you use your credit card. Both the customer copy and the retailer copy should have all but the last 4 digits Xed out. If they are all visible, inform the retailer there are more secure credit card machines that do, and you won't purchase anything with them by credit card until they use such machines.
5. Gas stations, it is better that your receipt is not printed at all, and if it is, don't forget to check with the attendent if they have a copy of the receipt and get it from them.
6. Credit card wireless scanners. Apparently people have managed to scan other people's back pockets and get the credit card number off them. If at all possible don't leave your credit card in your back pocket, and use your front pocket, or a purse that you always keep an eye on.
If your bill online or otherwise indicate charges you don't recognize, get your number changed immediately, and dispute the charges within 60 days. If you don't you may be liable for them. Otherwise you are usually only liable for the first $50.

and why would you want to do that?

Display iPhone Screen on TV or Computer!!!!!!

does anybody know of an app or cable or device that i can use to display my iPhone screen on my TV or computer? I have both sets of Apples cables to connect to TVs, but they are only enabled when using as an iPod.
i want something like what is used to keynotes to view an iPhone screen on the external montior. There has to be a way because Apple displays the screens during keynotes, but it may not be one Apple wants the outside public to have. If you look at the keynote videos, there a big fat black cable that comes directly out of the iPhone.
i heard that it might be part of the iPhone developer tools. i am gong to get the SDK soon. so hopefully it is easy to do.

Am getting daily messages from Safari warning me that I am on a website with an unknow certifying authority and my personal information may be at risk.
Happens when in Cox webmail and when I am visitying a legitimate site, and I have typed in address correctly such as Citibank rewards site.
Have 3 choices, "Show Certficate" "Cancel" or "Continue". Screen is frozen and cannot exit Safari without acknowledging the message or clicking escape. I had been clicking continue, but after a month or more of many such messages decided to ask Cox. They say it is a virus. Was I careless in clicking continue? What do many messages like this mean? they can't all be unknown certifying authorities can they?

Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved.
1. Are the current date (including the year) and time shown on your system clock? If not, correct them and test.
2. Check that the following files exist:
/System/Library/Keychains/SystemCACertificates.keychain
/System/Library/Keychains/SystemRootCertificates.keychain
If they don't, restore them from a backup or reinstall OS X after backing up all data.
3. Disable any third-party firewall, "security" software, or network filter. Test.

If not, back up all data, then select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the Finder menu bar. Into the text box that opens, copy the following line of text:

I have followed each of the steps listed in the link above with no success.
Prior to adding the extra drivers I was able to start the Windows install process up to reformatting the "Windows" Bootcamp drive. After that the computer would go through some instal processes and eventually restart. After the restart the screen would go black. The black screen lead me to the Apple Support link above dated March 5 2015. After going through steps listed in the link above, I get an error message stating that the D:\Sources\instal.win. file cannot be located. I am forced to restart the computer at that point and theWindows install process attempts to start again but always ends up at the same point.
Note: I am installing windows 7 Pro from a DVD. I scanned the AutoUnattend.xml file and noticed that it refers to "Windows 7 ULTIMATE" but not "Pro" or any others that I could see. (see below). Could that be part of the issue?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The File .wim will contains a compressed image which contains File [1...5].
The W7-Ultimate .clg will have 5 entries, with all set to 'Y'.
The W7-Professional .clg will have 5 entries, with 'Y','Y','N','Y','Y'.
The W7-Home Premium .clg will have 5 entries, with 'Y','Y','N','N','Y'.
The W7-Home Basic .clg file will have 5 entries, with 'Y','Y','N','N','N'.
This allows a single .wim Image file on the DVD media to be used to install any of the 5 flavors of Windows. When you enter your product key, the Installer knows what specific W7 variant you have the key for and will tell the WIM to extract the specific files the installer needs to be extracted.
The following line

is telling that a retail product key will be entered, which should go look for this specific .clg file (from the five you already have on disk). You can test if it will work for you by changing this line to the following

If it does not work, the other issue can be related to device discovery. Typically A: and B: device names are reserved for Floppy Drives. C: is your internal HDD.
D: can either point to the Optical drive, or the USB. The normal convention is that the removable media is named from Z: backwards. Y: and Z: are usually used for Network drives, so X: should be your USB. First try with the change to "Professional". If it does not work,

I hope you may use the standard function module RS_IMPORT_DYNPRO .
This function module takes input as program name, screen no and gives the complete information abot that screen.
The tables parameter FTAB holds the information regarding all controls in the screen.
FTAB parameters :
FNAM : control name
FILL : control type incase of push button it would be P
STXT : Label or text of the control
RES1 : Function code ,
You can check all other parameter , and debug that function module to know more .

Display error In Personal Information of ESS

Hi all,
When we goto Personal Information of the ESS, and then to Family members/dependents- it displays a screen with details of family members added, if mother details are added , the details of Mother are displayed with the following entries.
First Name - " first name"
Last Name- " empty"
Date of Birth - " last name"
message.BizcardField4 - "date"
So if you observe, the entries are arranged wrongly(misplaced) and a new field is displayed.
How do we rectify this error ?

VcPerPersonalFIReview. Here select ReviewView under Views.
2. In the layout of the ReviewView select Name Prefix label.
3. Select the Name prefix Text View which is in the Outline window.
For this text view in the properties of this text view delete
SelectedInfotype.Vorsw from the text field.
4. The same needs to be done for the fields Title and Name Affix.
5. In the layout of the Review View select Title label. Now select the
Other_title text view in the properties of this text view delete
SelectedInfotype.Titel from the text property.
6. For Name Affix field, Select Name Affix in the layout of the
ReviewView. For the Name affix text view in the Outline window delete
SelectedInfotype.Vors2 text property.
7. Save the changes build and deploy the DC

Display Personal Information

Dear experts,
I have a requirement of displaying of personal information (IT 0002) of an employee in ESS.
When I click on personal data in ESS, Its giving me an option to edit his Name and other personal informations, Which I would like to restrict.
He should be able view his personal data, not to edit.
I have checked the configurations in R/3, but I didn't get any useful info.
Please guide me,If this can be done?

In the Netweaver development studio IDE, in the project ess**pdata
means country code
1.     Navigate to WebDynpro components and select the component VcPerPersonal**Details and drill down to the iview and select the DETAILVIEW
2.     In layout select eh fields which you want to make it read only
3.      and in properties of the same field change the value to TRUE for ReadOnly.
