Getting photo's off iPod

I had to get a new hard drive. I think I can manage to get my music off by other articles I saw. However one thing that I am very worried about is getting my pictures off, which are 4.000 plus. This is my main concern. How can I do this?
When I click my iPod from desktop, I go to Photo's and there's a Photo Database and then Thumbs with about 12 .ithmb files...

There are various programs out there for recovering photos from an iPod, have a look at the ones below. If you search the internet you can find more. Just be aware that what you'll be recovering will be photos optimised for the iPod so they won't be the same quality as the original full resolution versions:

Can't get photo's off iPod colour

Hi, can anyone help please?
I have a 20gb colour iPod and can't get my photos OFF! When I connect it and iTunes opens up it recognises the songs I have but not the photo's. This is the same when checking the "settings" and "about" (Photos 0)on the iPod. I can view the photo's no problem on the iPod.
I have around 150 photos from my holiday and downloaded them directly from my digital camera to iPod via the camera connector

next time you connect your iPod, switch the "hard disc use" on the iPod preferences in iTunes on. Then you might be able to copy them from the folder. If this doesn't work, search for some addons that enables you to copy data from your iPod back to the computer. My hard drive in my G5 went bad but the good news is all my photos (2800+) are backed up on my iPod.
My fear is that when I connect the ipod to another computer, the iPod will be erased and I will loose everything. What is the best way to do this?

Getting photo's off an iPhone that won't charge?

The other day I woke up to find my iPhone 4s, which is just over a year old, hadn't charged overnight. I've tried everything and I won't charge and has run out of battery so pretty useless. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to get photos and things off it, because i'd be a bit annoyed if I lost it all!

It sounds like your phone is not charging when connected to the USB cable that came with the phone. I recommend the steps in the following article named:

If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge for up to 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue is persists, please contact Apple Support.

How did you get them on your iPod in the first place? Usually doing the reverse of that is the best way to do it.
If your pictures are in the default photos folder(pictures that you have saved directly to your iPod), then I don't know of a way to do that.

Can't get photos on my ipod, update error

I just bought my ipod last night. Immediatly when plugging it in I got an error that said:
"The ipod can not be updated. The required file can not be found."
All of my songs transfered onto it though. I have it set-up to transfer my photos over after it transfers the songs, but it doesn't do it. I've watched the video on transfering photos and it all looks right, but the photos won't transfer. The only thing it isn't doing is showing the number of picture to be transfered at the bottom, nothing is there. It sees all my photo folders though. And every time I try to update my ipod, I get the above error.
I have installed the latest version of the ipod updater, I updated my iTunes, I reset and even restored my ipod, and nothing is working. Please help. I want to be able to load my photos on my ipod and I want to stop getting this error!

I called Apple Support and after an hour and a half, we figured out the problem.
In my "My Pictures" folder I have subfolders grouping my pictures by year. The year subfolders have their own subfolders grouping the pictures by month, and sometimes there are more subfolders in the month folders grouping my pictures by event. And basically, you can't transfer over subfolders. And that's why my photos were not being transfered, and that's why I was getting the "file not found error" (Because it was only finding subfolders and no pictures in my "My Pictures" folder.)
My way around this was to create a new folder and just copy over all the photos I wanted on my ipod into it, and have the ipod update from that folder.
I was a little frustrated because the reason I got a 60GB ipod was so I could use it to back-up my photos in a better way then just burning DVDs, so the tech support person walked me though how to back up my photos to my ipod, so they are all on there, just not all viewable (the only viewable ones are the ones I had the ipod update form the new folder I created. In order to do put them on the ipod as a back-up, I had to make sure the "disk use" box was checked in the ipod preferences under the music tab.

My computer has a virus so I hooked my iphone 4s to another computer with itunes. I need to get some photo albums off the iphone that I synced with the other computer but the only thing that comes up are the photo stream photos. My question is how can I get them off it is taking up space on icloud and I just don't want them anymore. please help.

Please explain to me what kind of photos end up outside the sandbox. Photos taken or saved with the phone are in the Camera Roll. Other photos on the iPhone would be synced via iTunes from the computer. Those pictures are already on the computer and can be removed from the phone via another sync. Importing the photos with import utility on the computer, like a digital camera is how to get the pictures. I'm not sure what these other photos are that you are referring to, or where they are coming from.

Getting photo albums off my iphone 4s I have Windows 7 which I have down loaded to

just cant seem to figure out how to get photos off my phone I have no more room and it says i have 4000 photos and cant do anything more (syncing)

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought there was no workaround in iOS 7 if Find My iPhone can't be turned off on the phone. I thought that was the whole purpose of the change, to keep thieves from restoring a stolen phone.

Is there a a way to get photos from your iPod back onto your computer?

My sister's computer crashed, and she lost all her photos. Her pictures are on her iPod, but I can't find a way to get them onto another computer. I searched posts looking for programs that could help, but they all cost money. Does anyone know of free programs that can help me????

There aren't any free ones that I know of, but if you copied photos to your iPod using the full resolution option, enable disk use, open your iPod in "my computer" in Windows or Finder on a Mac, open the photos folder then open the "full resolution" folder and drag the photos out of that folder to your desktop. For enabling disk use look here.

If you only copied the photos as thumbnails, you can't do this so you'll need a program such as this one.
iPod Photo Copy. (Windows only)
iPod Photo Liberator. (both Mac and Windows versions available)
Photos as thumbnails won't be of the original quality when copied back to your computer.
