Import them as you would from any digital camera.

Hi folks,
I'm a newbie and hope you'll tolerate me gatecrashing. It's just that I'm in a pixel nightmare and in desperate need of help.
I'm using PE 3.01 and have almost 3000 pictures processed. Rather stupidly, I figured I'd leave the printing worries to a later date - my primary concern was to get photos onto data CD and onto TV. So I merrily cropped, edited and generally fixed all my pics. (I now have original digital neg, tiff and edited jpeg - the output image). But I've not set up the latter for computer screen, tv or print. I think I can handle the print side, but will need another version for electronic output, and this will be my TV. It's there, for my fourth version, that I need help.
The images are a mixture of digital and slide scans and most are OK. But on some of the digitals, I've noticed the diagonal lines are jagged. On my last outing I took pics of boats with rigging and it was all terrible - string of pearls stuff from mast to mast on the diagonals. I've looked at the camera with the manufacturer, and it's probably fine.
I finally spoke to Adobe. They said try to generate a version with the same (close as you can) number of pixels as the TV and change the dpi. This should be around 36 for STD TV and around 100 for HDTV. I have a HDTV (1920x1080) but it says on the box that the number of pixels are 1280 by 720. Confusion. I've tried both figures and failed. Photo seems elongated, does not fill the screed and the boat still has strings of pearls instead o rigging. Can anyone out there help?

I am aware of the 25/50/75/100 steps on the monitor, and yes it does make it better. 100 is smooth (it's the actual image). Yes, the problem is still visible in Fax Viewer. I can permanently remove this problem on the computer monitor by changing image size to a resolution of 96dpi (same as monitor) and 1024/768 same as monitor, using bicubic smoother. (Remember it is just disposable electronic version). Works great. Still, this is not so easy to transfer to TV. Remember, most of the images work OK on TV, it's just those with diagonal lines that are the problem.

Go to the iTunes Store.
Plug your iPhone into your PC (use the USB cable provided with the phone).
Next, look for the iTunes Store bar-icon towards the top right ( where it is on my PC screen).
Next to it an iPhone bar-icon will pop up. Click it and follow instructions. After that, your phone will auto sync photos and tunes when you
plug it into iTunes.

Getting photos onto my iOS devices from my Mac mini with beta library turned on.

I am using iOS 8.1.3 and have turned on Beta Library. I find that I can no longer get photos from my Mac onto my iPhone and iPad mini. In iPhoto, I've dragged them into Photostream on the Mac and they appear in Photostream there but not on my iOS devices. How can I get selected photos from iPhoto on the Mac to appear in Photos album on my iPhone and iPad mini?

The iOS OS doesn't give you direct access to the file system on the device, so will thwart your ability to upload files from your device. You can't interact with those files directly.
Perhaps there is an FTP app for iOS that would let you do this, but it might not meet apples terms of service for the App Store so would probably require a jail broken phone.
Even though limited by these restrictions, VPN is still helpful for other things. You can access a mail server or private website that's behind a VPN firewall. You can control airport base stations behind a firewall. VPN can also make 3rd party apps more useful in other ways too. For instance I can remotely control a retrospect backup server using their iOS app with VPN to punch thru the firewall.

Can't get photos onto iPod. Everything else is OK.

When I try syncing photos from iTunes to my iPod I get the "The disk could not be read from or written to." error message. Everything else gets synced (music, video, podcasts).
I tried reseting my iPod, rebooting Windows, the software was just installed when I got the iPod so it should be fresh.

Hello . I have the exact same problem . After playing with reset - reinstall and speaking to apple directly for over 2hrs. I have found that there is no simple solution . It must be an Xp problem . Customer support suggested that the problem may be remedied if I create a new Xp user and reinstall to that user . It did not work . However - if you want to get pictures on your ipod and you can get videos on your ipod then do as follows - use microsoft movie maker - free with Xp - to make a slideshow of your photos . Then convert the .avi slideshow into ipod format . Put the video slideshow on your ipod and enjoy . You can pause during the slideshow to show people individual pictures . Just a note I can now no longer get podcasts on my 30g video ipod . Starting to wish I kept my hassle free , itunes free flash usb mp3 player .

The problem is I don't know how to make the computer recognize the Iphone, so as to have the menu appear that asks, "do I wish to view files, etc". This menu is clearly the key, but I can't get it.
It just goes straight to Synchronisation.
I"ve checked the sttings in the control panel - Autoplay and set it to "Ask me everytime".
Is it significant that when I plug the Iphone into the computer, it doesn't show up on the file manager like everything else?

Well, I did some additonal research and I've found another answer. There is a product called Eye Fi that combines an 8gb SD card with a WiFi connection. It will allow you to send the photos from your camera to your computer, your tablet or your phone, including the iPhone. The newest one is the Eye Fi Pro and it seems to be the one that works the best. It costs almost $100, but it should do what I want to do. I think I'll buy one and try it out. I just wanted to share this information in case anyone else ever had the same question.

I have a 30gb iPod photo which has all my pictures on it. Recently my computer crashed and I lost all my pictures, and now i wish to bring the pictures back off my iPod onto my Windows based operating system PC. I looked at Apples help, and it has done me no good. I have tried making it a hard disk but yet i still cannot access my photos, obviously because im using windows, loading iPhoto is not an option, Please help!

Cant get my photos onto my iPod photo

OK heres the thing... I dont have itunes. I cant have itunes. Not becouse I dont want to I just cant have it. But with a lot of pain I managed to get music onto my iPod. Now i was wondering if anyone knew anyway to get photos onto my iPod without useing the softwear giving (note: If I could use the softwear trust me I would)

Is it possible to get photos onto my iPad wirelessly from a scanner.

That would depend on the scanner. For instance HP has the HP Printer Control mobile app that supports several of its HP multifunction printers to Scan from them.
Look at your Scanners manufacturer's web siter and see if they oiffer some type of App that can be used to scan.

If you used iTunes to get the photos on the phone, then use the same iTunes and uncheck the music you don't want and do another sync.
