Getting pictures from iPhone to PC?

Hey guys
I might be missing something in iTunes but why can't I get my pics that I took with the iphone from the iphone to my PC?
When i go to sync it says its going to replace them with the ones from the PC
Please help.

iTunes doesnt take pics off the computer...whatever Digial Camera software you may use does...iTunes just puts photos on (or off after synced on).
So photos in the camera roll (pics you took with camera) you take off like you would any digital camera.
Forgot to look what you are using but I am a Windows users..so can just tell you what Windows does.
When you connect it should (be default unless you told it not to anymore) prompt you that it picked up a camera and ask what do you want to do...most common one would use the Camera Wizard option and just follow it's instructions.
If you told it not to prompt, then you have to go to My Computer and see it listed as a camera, just click on it and choose what you want to do.

  • How to get pictures from iphone 4s to iphoto?

I am unable to get the pictures from my new iPhone 4s transfered to iPhoto on my iMac (version 10.5.8).
It does sync via iCloud to my iPad, but it will not transfer pictures to iPhoto when connecting the phone to my iMac. The phone doesn't appear on iPhoto... I don't have iCloud on my older iMac. It is not very impressive if you must have iCloud to be able to get pictures from iPhone 4s to iPhoto!
    Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem.  I know that doesn't help you, but at least you know you're not alone.

How do i get pictures from iphone to mac?

If you want your photos to end up in iPhoto, just do a normal sync. If you don't want to use iPhoto, or if you just want to put your phone photos in a normal visible folder on the desktop, luckily when you plug in the iPhone a Mac sees it like a camera or card reader. This means the iPhone will show up in common applications that have an import-from-camera feature. I've copied photos off my iPhone using Apple Image Capture, PhoneView, and Adobe Lightroom, for example.

  • HT1338 get pictures from iphone to mac

Ive had my MacBook Pro since 2009 but only started using it a lot about a year ago.  I need to figure out how to get my iphone photos over to my Mac.  I started reading the support info but I don't have the iCloud icon on my apple preferences, instead it says mobileme. What's next.  I'm afraid I'm so far behind I'll never catch up but buying a new mac isn't an option right now $$

If these are pictures that are in the Camera Roll, you connect the iPhone to the computer and import them. Not sure about any software requirements for the Mac, but on a Windows computer, connecting the phone triggers the import function in Windows.

  • Can't get my pictures from iphone to computer (windows)

I can't get my pictures from iPhone to computer. However, it does work from computer to iPhone

As an added note, if you are trying to use photo stream, that will only work on newly taken photos.  Existing photos when photo stream is turned on will not sync to the stream.  Use the connection to your computer as descibed in the link as the way to get photos to your computer.

  • How do I get pictures from the iPhone to my Windows 7 PC?

I am running Windows 7, and I have iTunes installed. When I connect my iPhone, iTunes opens automatically, but I can't access the pictures from Windows Explorer. It used to show up in Computer, but it suddenly stopped. I don't think anything has changed since then. How do I get the pictures onto my computer?

The only way you can get pictures FROM your iPhone to your computer is if you took the pictures with your iPhone. The only other way you can move photos from the iPhone is to mail them to yourself ( which is very time consuming). If you are trying to get photos from your computer TO your iPhone...in iTunes, click on "Photos" and make sure you check the photos you want to sync.............then sync.If you're still having problems, let me know.

Thanks for the question.  It sounds like you are having issues with Photo Stream on your iPad, is that correct?  The resource below provides some troubleshooting steps for this issue.

I do not know how you "down load my new ipad ". You purchase an iPad. Maybe this will help:

    Hello,

    Appreciate your help in advance.
    Happy New Year 2012.
    Thanks

There may be something corrupt in your camera roll, or a photo you saved from an email, text message or from the internet preventing them from importing.  You might try transferring them wirelessly to your computer using an app like PhotoSync.  If they transfer successfully, delete them from camera roll then take a new photo and see if iPhoto will import it now.

  • Pictures from iphone to pc

How do I get pictures from my iPhone into my pc? I have a original usb-cord, but can´t find the pictures in iTunes. I dont't have iPhoto but Photoshop.

iTunes doesn't import photos. You need to import them to the PC itself. For Windows 7 the iPhone shows as a digital camera in Start > Computer when connected to the PC. I'm not sure if its the same for XP but I hope that points you in the right direction.

how do I get pictures from my I cloud account to load onto my new Samsung galaxy 5

If you mean photo stream, you can't access them directly from your Galaxy 5.  Save them to the camera roll on your iPhone and import them to your computer (iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer).  Then transfer them to your Galaxy 5 as recommended by Samsung.

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)
