N8 problem when installing apps from Nokia Store

Hey guys! I have problem with my Nokia N8. Most of the time, when I try to install app on it using Nokia Suite on my PC, Suite says that app has just been installed correctly, but on the phone says "Downloading error" and the app doesn't exist. Same thing happened today when I tried to install Viber. Help please

I would suggest you try and update to the latest Ovi Store, now called Nokia Store.
With your phone's browser go to the following address:
http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3
you should then get the option to install the latest Nokia Store client, and this should include new QT files. Corrupt QT files are usually the problem when installations from the Nokia/Ovi Store fails.

Problem when installing app "tomtom europe"

I'm trying to install app "tomtom europe" on my iphone but I get the error "download failed - not enough memmory".
But the sysmtem showns me 4.4 GB free memory and the Tomtom app requires something about 1,7 GB ???

TomTom Europe is huge. Apps traditionally require between two and three times the publicised memory to get through the loading process. Even your 4.4GB might not be quite enough. Try temporarily dumping even more video/music/photos.

Problem with installed apps

I recently updated to ios 6 but now all of my installed apps say this instead on installed

-Also, whenver i touch that thing that replaces installed, the app just starts to redownload.

Well, if for some reason you need to re-download the app, you'll have to pay for it again. If that download happens to fail (like in my situation), you have to pay AGAIN to try and get it. If it fails a third time, you'll have to pay again and so on.
I downloaded RoadSync (10 Euro) and my phone had to be re-installed. I re-installed my phone, and Ovi wanted me to rebuy RoadSync. I tried emailing support (fail) and with no reponse, re bought it. It then failed mid download, and It wants me to buy a third time.
Ovi support has yet to get back to me, Nokia Care told me to jump off a cliff and contact the vendor. Vendor says contact ovi.

Problems to install apps

Hello!
I have a problem with 3 apps in particular:
- Bridge CC
- Dreamweaver CC
- Photoshop CC
I want to install them on my Mac, but Creative Cloud tells me they are already installed and updated. They are not!!
I checked my mac up and down to find them, unistall them and re-install them again, but they just don't exist!
I can't install them, because Creative Cloud has them updated and I can't unistall them, because I don't have them.
What should I do?
(If it helps : those 3 apps, were the ones I had as a 30-days-test-version before buying the Adobe suite)

Problem re/installing apps

Hi my name is Jessica. I am trying to re/install apps on my macbook version 10.6.8 because I reinstall the operative system a couple days ago. When I click on download the app it says that the app no longer supports my operative system. But again, I reinstall the same operative system I had before and I was using illustrator, photoshop just fine with it. Why it doesn't let me do it again? I have a student membership and I am paying for this every month and I need to keep using this programs.

The Creative Cloud (CC 2014) versions of the two programs you mention require Mac OS version 10.7 or higher. It might be a case where you had older versions running on the machine before you reinstalled the system and updates to newer versions never happened since your OS was older than required. You should still be able to download and install the version you had earlier, such as CS6. I see that the older CC version of Illustrator does allow for 10.6.8, but Photoshop of that version does not.
If you continue to have an issue you should contact Adobe Support and have them help you thru this. Start Here If after selecting relevant responses you are unable to find a solution, choose "Still need help? Contact us." and the chat contact option.

Problems when installing apps

Since I installed Mountain Lion, I cannot install certain apps and I have configured my Imac to let install apps from everywhere in Gatekeeper. Is does not launch them and futhermore some of them keep bouncing in the dock but never launch.
I have repaired permissions, reinstalled software and i do not know what else can I do.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Try the action that you're having trouble with again. Post any messages that appear in the Console window – the text, please, not a screenshot.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into a message.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out by search-and-replace in a text editor before posting.

Problems with installing Apps over 3G (iPhone OS 3.0)

Since the new OS 3.0 update I've been having some recurring issues when installing applications.
I go to the App store and enter my password (or enter it once I've selected an app - this step makes no difference)
The App starts loading.
Here is where the problem occurs, once it gets to about half way, it goes back to the beginning and starts again.
For some apps it might do this 10 times before it starts installing.
For other apps it simply says after 10 tries or so "Could not download application".
Basically the bar stops just before it normally changes to status text to "installing".
This is frustrating because I have excellent 3G reception with DL speeds of close to 300Kbps and this is eating into my quota. Especially so when doing 8 or so updates.
When I connect it to WiFi I don't seem to have this problem anymore.
This never used to happen before and only since the 3.0 update is it occurring. It makes me very reluctant to run updates or download apps. Updates essentially cripple my apps if they do not complete in some instances.
Has anyone else come across this and if so is there any solution other than some hack job?

im having the same problem too, at first i was thinking it was just my phone, but no it is still happening
anyway, i went into the Apple store today, and explained what was happening. The dude at the bar told me it is a known issue with Optus. Dam optus. i still dont really believe it tho, so i am going to try a different networks sim in my phone tomorrow and see if it makes any difference.

Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of the app and see if it shows up. You can tap on it to launch it from there.
If all of your screens happen to be full, that is the only way that you will be able to locate the app.
You can also look for the app when connected to iTunes. You can try transferring the purchase into iTunes and then look for the app.

Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Apps Tab on the right.
Look at the list of apps under the Sync Apps Heading
If you see the app in the list - double click on it and it will appear on the screen that it is on in the iPad screens on the right side.

But i am getting following error in the final.
The required MSI package 'D:\SQL Server 2012\x86\setup\sql_engine_core_shared_msi' doesn't exist.

You post same question 3 times. Please avoid this practice on Forum, I
have merged the same thread into this thread . Thanks for your understanding.
In addition, as other post, you can copy the missing .msi file from the complete and unbroken installation media to your MSI package path. Then run as administrator again. And also check if your account has read and write permission for your installation
media saving path. If the error still exists, you can check the SQL setup logs (Detail.txt and summary.txt) for analysis.
There is similar issue about installing SQL Server failed due to miss the required MSI package.

Getting update error installing app

HI all,
I am trying to install this app called metlink

but it is giving me error (update error on the phone and error code:2153775107 in ovi suite)
I have hard resetted my nokia n8.
Running in PR1.2 vodafone:

Please help coz this app is one of the app I love to use(travel alot)

When I try to install Metlink application it just states "Installation failed".
I am using Nokia N8-00 PDNRM-596 with PR1.2 software. Any clues how we can fix this? This would be a great app to have for people in Melbourne..

Problems re-installing apps

I have been having issues sense the original download of creative cloud.
day 1: creative cloud locked me out, I followed instructions from the site and clicked quit to refresh and it did not work.
            I did a system restore and it worked fine again.
day2:   system restore deleted my creative cloud apps. It let me download new apps but would not re-download deleted apps.
day3:   creative clould locked me out again.
I need to know why it keeps locking me out and how to fix this problem and most importantly, how do I re-download my deleted apps again.

Brieallen when you are stating the Creative Cloud is locking you out what specific error are you experiencing? Also which version of Windows are you using?
