Getting rid of 120 second warning for shutdown or logout
Does anyone know of how to get rid of the annoying 120 second "warning" that pops up when wanting to shutdown or logout?
I don't remember what I did earlier, but I used to not get that message. When I had to do an OS restore installation, it started popping up again.

Well, you can always just use the quick shutdown method and avoid everything. I use it ALL the time and never has any ill effects.
Command/Option/Control and the Eject Key (far upper right corner of the standard keyboard) Bang-Zoom, well only a few seconds while it closes any open files etc.... cool...

I have a project that use a program called Articulate to turn
powerpoint shows into a more rich flash product with audio, search
capacities, quiz etc. There are multiple sections from multiple
powerpoint files that generate a dozen or so flash files. The flash
files reside in an html shell to allow for navigation. The whole
thing is delivered on disc as a browser based training product.
The problem is that viewing flash from a disc results in a
security alert every time the viewer goes to a flash file. There is
an Articulate theme blog that suggests using a product called
server2go to make the disc function as a server to kinda fool
browsers on the local machine into thinking the disc is a web
server. My client wants the product to allow the users' default
browser. So far, although server2go is supposed to allow this, it
doesn't with the latest version of firefox (client's preferred
browser). I can only get it to work on a select machine or 2 in my
office with IE (server2go default) but it takes forever to launch.
I haven't gotten it to work on any of the client's machines. The
disc (auto launch) just freezes the machines.
Can anyone recommend a better server emulation product, or
tell me another solution to delivering a disc based flash product
without getting the security warning and without making the viewer
change settings on their machine to allow flash to play?
I understand security issues but this makes flash virtually
unusable for this application and I'm dead in the water if I can't

Hi all,
I have Acrobat X Pro patched to 10.1.8 on Windows 7. I am trying to create and use a CD with a set of hyperlinked PDFs on it.
Whenever I click a link in any of the PDFs, the attached security dialog comes up. The box being ticked doesn't matter, Acrobat doesn't add anything to its list of websites in Trust Manager. I have added D:\ to the list of privileged locations in the enhanced security preferences. In fact, I have tried turning off enhanced security altogether, and even that didn't work. I have also tried both "Allow access to all websites / Default behavior: Allow Access" (which irritatingly reverted to "Allow access / Always ask" BTW) and "Custom / Default behavior: Always Ask" in the Manage Internet Access preferences under Trust Manager. Trust Manager won't let you add local paths.
I can change the PDF files too if it's something to do with the type of hyperlink between them. They're relative links to other files in the same directory created using Word and then converted to PDF with Acrobat PDFMaker.

DrewIt's possible that the file that any path points to may be changed, but it appears Acrobat happily accepts those other paths.
If that is really intended behavior as built, is there a way to fool Acrobat that a given disc isn't removable media? -

You can turn it off:
Settings > Passcode > enter your passcode > Turn Passcode Off.

Since using sync I now have duplicate bookmarks, but if I delete one od the duplicate bookmarks it also deletes the original, how do I get rid of this second set of bookmarks?The places.sqlite database may still be corrupted if the same bookmarks show in different locations.

"TBL_SESSION_SQL_WAIT_HISTORY"Did you create your table and column names within double quotes?
It will make your table as case sensitive.

i have a 3GS iphone and have 4 apps which will not delete. i tried to update them but when the grey icon marked "waiting" appeared on the screen, the blue bar never filled nor loaded and has sat there for a few weeks without changing. i have tried to delete the icons but once the 'jiggling' starts there is no "x" on it. i can move it around the screen but not get rid of it.

Good afternoon. I inherited a course created in Captivate 2.0 which needed updates. It has a playback control on the bottom of the screen and one on the top, right hand portion of the screen. I went into Project-->Skin but I can't seem to get rid of the one on the right of the screen. Can you help?

All of a sudden I am getting a background picture of angry birds in my e mail. I can view the mail but it is annoying.

Do you see the color in Designer, or only Acrobat. If it's only in Acrobat, try changing the menu item Forms >> Highlight Fields. This toggles entry field highlights on and off.
