Getting rid of Markers in Flash Line charts

Hi,
I am trying to use Flash Line charts for plotting a few time series graphs. I wish to get rid of the markers and have only the lines.
Is there any property I need to set to get rid of these markers. I tried "Marker Size=0" in the <line> setting. but doesn't seem to work.
Any suggestions ?

Flash line chart with multiple lines

Here a newbie with apex...
Created a flash line chart with as source the following sql statement:
select null link, year, sum(total_cost) from cost
group by year
a chart has been created with a single line. i wanted every year on an own line.
The way i could do this is with multiple series like:
select null link, year, sum(total_cost) from cost
where year =2008
select null link, year, sum(total_cost) from cost
where year =2009
But this not a good solition, cause now i've to add every year a new serie
hope to get some help from here... txn in advanced.

Flash line chart: manipulating the line and data point

In Apex 3.1 Flash line chart
Is there a way to change the line thickness and suppress the circular data point? We think it looks cartoonish and ugly especially when there are many data points.

Use Custom XML in the Chart attributes and replace the line_chart section with:
      <line_chart left_space="5" right_space="5">
        <block_names enabled="no" />
        <dots type='circle' radius='2' />
        <lines size='1' auto_color='yes' tone='0xFFC700' color='0xC1C1C1' />

What graphics card is installed?
Have you looked inside to see if the interior is dusty?
Is the graphics card dusty?
If equipped, is the fan on the graphics card turning?
Leopard uses the graphics card harder than Tiger, so weakness in the graphics card is more easily shown.

How to get rid of a "not assigned" line in Bex

Hello Experts,
I feed a Cube with two ODS-Objects, one fpr orders and one for items.
ODS1 provides the number of orders and
ODS2 provides the number of items and the charachteristic item_type for the dimension item.
Because the charachteristic item_type is not provided by ODS1 there is a "not assigned" line at the bottom of the table in Bex!
How can I get rid of this line? I want to avoid usong seperate Cubes for Orders and Items!

In the query designer restrict item_type to # -> right click on # -> exclude from selection.

How to get rid of label shadows in Pie Chart?

Hi and thanks for reading.
Every time I create a pie-chart in Numbers08, there is a shadow around values and series labels. I looked in Text, Font, and inspector palletes but could not get rid of the shadow/glow around the fonts.
Any suggestions on how to disable it? this shadow is ruining my whole report.
This happens only in pie-chart, for some reason. If I change the chart to, say, bar chart, the shadow disappears, but switching to pie brings back the shadow.

Ashka, thanks for reply, unfortunately it didn't help. I do not have "shadow" option ticked anywhere. If I do tick the shadow, an additional shadow also appears, so this shadow is somehow built into the pie-chart by default. No matter what font of color I pick that shadow is there.

How do I get rid of an ugly white line around areas of type?

Attached is a screenshot of a pdf file I created of a brochure I designed.
Actually, it's just one panel of that brochure. In that panel there are unsightly white lines that appear around areas of type.
I have yet to find a way to get rid of them, and I'm not sure what causes them.
The brochure started out as an InDesign CS5 file and then I converted it to a .pdf file so it would be print-ready for PSPrint, Alpha Graphics, or a similar printing facility.
Any advice you can share about what is causing these lines, and how to get rid of them, would be very helpful and much appreciated. Thanks!

It is one of two things. Either the frames actually have a stroke applied to them, or they have some sort of transparency effect and you are flattening the transparency in the PDF and these are transparency flattening artifacts called "stitching." From the screen capture it looks as if it might even be both -- stroked frames onthe white type at the top, and stitching around the yellow type.
If it's a stroke, set the stroke color to [None]. To eliminate stitching export to Acrobat 5 or higher compatibilty to keep the transparency live. Stitching doesn't usually show up in press output, but it may in lower-resolution digital prints.

How do you get rid of the blank row/line after the header?

My report needs to use the "Different first Page" and "Odd and even page" layout options. However, after the header is printed, it also print out a blank line and then print out the data table. How can I get rid of the blank line. Also, after the table is printed. A blank line is printed and then it the footer gets print. How can I get rid of the blank line as well? Thanks for your help!

Can't get rid of the wretched white lines!

I have recently created a website in iweb and for some reason on every page there are white lines at the top of the screen that are not there in IWeb? At first, I thought it was because I'd moved something, but I'm using one of the templates and I've created a blank new page called Welcome2 and not touched it and the lines are on that one too?!

I'm not seeing a white line (Safari on a mac) but your brown "Welcome" is setting on top of the body of text.

How do I get rid of the horizontal thin line that goes across the top persona image .

There is a 1-pixel wide light horizontal grey line between the navigation toolbar and the bookmarks toolbar. This line goes across the persona background image nomatter what persona I have installed. It is not a monitor or graphic card problem since it only appears in FF. I have a HP Pavilion dv6000 with Windows Vista. I have tried different screen resolutions with no luck.

The update alerts are fake, and are intended to mislead you into installing malware and/or to steal your identity.
You might get the alerts when visiting a website that has been hacked. Don't visit the site again. If applicable, notify the site administrator of the problem, but don't send email to an unknown party.
If you get the alerts when visiting well-known websites such as Google, YouTube, or Facebook, then they're the result of an attack on your router that has caused you to get false results from looking up the addresses of Internet servers. Requests sent to those sites are redirected to a server controlled by the attacker.
The router's documentation should tell you how to reset it to the factory default state. Usually there's a pinhole switch somewhere in the back. It may be labeled "RESET." Insert a paper clip and press the button inside for perhaps 15 seconds, or as long as the instructions specify.
Then go through the initial setup procedure. I can't be specific, because it's different for every model. The key points are these:
1. Don't allow the router to be administered from the WAN (Internet) port, if it has that option.
2. Set a strong password to protect the router's settings: at least ten random upper- and lower-case letters and digits. Don't use the default password or any other that could be guessed.
3. If the router is wireless, or if you have a wireless access point on the network, use "WPA 2 Personal" security and set another strong password to protect the network. If the router or access point doesn't support WPA 2, it's obsolete and must be replaced.
During the time the router was compromised, you were redirected to bogus websites. If you ever connected to a secure site and got a warning from your browser that the identity of the server could not be verified, and you dismissed that warning in order to log in, assume that your credentials for the site have been stolen and that the attacker has control of the account. This warning also applies to all websites on which you saw the fake update alerts.
If you downloaded and installed what you thought was a software update, ask for instructions.

How do I get rid of these rough unfinished lines at the top?

I tried to attach this image in an ai file, but I got an error saying this: [The content type of this image is not allowed.]
Does anyone know why I can't send this ai file. It's not too big, it's only 194 kb. Anyway, my other question refers to this diagram. I'm very, very new to illustrator. The very top of this illustration is the very top of my work area in illustrator.As you can see, where the curves are cut at the top, they don't look that "nice" in that they aren't cropped horizontally. What I want to do is crop vertically down the left side of this illustration and then crop horizontally across the top so it's nice smooth edging for the work. Does anyone know how I would crop this. This isn't the finished product. I want to continue working, and this work will fill out a rectangle. So maybe, the best thing to do is complete it all, and just crop all four sides. How does one crop in illustrator? I saw a cropping post here, but it was a little more complicated than what I want to do.
