Getting rid of my old G4 Power Mac
I have an old G4 Power Mac (bought around 7 years ago) I want to transfer what is on it onto my new computer before I donate it. What is the best way to hook the 2 together to do this?
I used Target Disk Mode and migrated.
Be sure to use Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk on the G4 before you migrate.
Let us know what errors Disk Repair reports and if DU was able to repair them.
Then Repair Permissions.

I have a Yosemite blue and white G3 that's living here while it's owner gets his living situation sorted out.. it was in rough shape as it sat in a few inches of water and is a bit corroded but not so much it's dead.
I'm cobbling it into a bit more stable, modern state for him so his 11 year old daughter can use it with her iPod. So far I have an 80GB hard drive and a Lite-on CD burner installed. I don't have much in the way of $$ right now, but can pay postage, if you want to part bits out. I can mail you a G3/266 processor to swap it out if you still want to have a working machine to part with.
I was going to use the bits from my beige for the Yosemite, but the Quicksilver that landed on my door turned out to be a boat anchor, so I bit the bullet and swapped out a power supply and got the G3 working again as a music server.
Am still on the hunt for freebie, useable parts..

Getting Rid of my Old 14" Analog TV-Need Help & Suggestions
I am thinking about getting rid of my old 14" analog TV and Verizon provided me with a digital box. I want to replace the TV but it has to be smaller in size. Right now, I have just a white cable going into it.
1) When I buy a new digital (I need it small in size), will I be able to simply plug this white cable back into the new TV?
2) I believe I have to return the digital converter but I don't see anywhere on the website on how to do this.
I am limited in space and would need the same type of connection (not using HDMI). Can anyone recommend a TV small and thin in size that would work?

Then look for one that has a coax connection for a signal in so that you can use a box and won't need to use the antenna provided.
Most are like small tablets, with a stand.
On the other hand, there are small (15") HDTVs out there.
Anything you get in the digital world should be much thinner than your SD. I'm running 12" and a 15" RCAs SD, and even my 55" HDTV is thinner than either of those
You will find that you will undoubtedly need a box and when you get an HD box, it will be larger. That may change your mind
Otherwise, you can look at thrift stores, etc, to see if there is an old smaller used SD around.

You can't. That's the new security feature of iOS7 that users (and others) requested to prevent stolen devices from being restored by theives and reused. Contact the "store" you purchased your phone from and see what they say.

Save the currend page reference in a variable called, say, curPage, then do
curPage.dispose();in the event handler for the button. -

The password will not be sent to you, because Apple does not know it. They will send a link where you can reset the password. I changed my AppleID in System Preferences, but the old ID comes up under iCloud and I get an error box saying my "ID or password are incorrect". How do I get rid of the old ID which now doesn't work with either my old or new password??
Yes that makes sense, however have you updated it at My Apple ID before trying to change it in your system preferences > iCloud settings, you must do that first.
