Getting rid of old plug-in data

We had XM Pie plug-ins (great program, pity about the price) installed on all our CS3 workstations so most of our files have XM pie plug-in data in them, although we don't use it at all these days. Every time I open a CS3 file in CS5 I get this warning:
I don't mind getting this warning once per file, but even after I save the file as a new CS5 file, it still comes up. Is there a way to permanently get rid of the unused plug-in data in the file?
Failing that, I can click on 'Don't show again for these plug-ins' but you have to do that every day, I don't suppose there's a way to make it sticky? I just don't want to have to see this warning every day for the next couple of years!

Thanks, I should have known that! For some reason my mind was stuck on the CS3 inx export way, which I didn't like for a few other reasons, like for starters having to have it open all the time... Still more clicking than I was hoping for but that's our problem for having the plug-in in the first place I guess.

In order to change the iCloud ID on your device you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

My iTunes told me I need to uninstall mobile device support and iTunes. I did. The tried to reinstall iTunes and told me my computer cannot get rid of old iTunes. Help!

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

I want to get rid of old archive on TM. How do I set up a new earliest backup file. For example:

Whatever you do, do not delete TM backups via the Finder. Not only will it take forever, but you can choke your Mac to the point where it, and your TM drive, are unusable. Use the TM interface, as V.K. detailed. It's quite tedious and time-consuming, but won't harm anything.
If you want space for other data, besides TM backups, in the same partition, that can be done, but it isn't a good idea. TM works best with it's own, exclusive partition.
There are two reasons for this: first, as you probably know, TM is a bit like the Borg -- it will assimilate all the space available. So once you put other data there, TM will eventually fill the remaining space, and you can't put anything else there.
Second, if you ever want or need to delete all your TM backups and start over, you can just erase the partition if it's exclusively TM's, but if there's other data there, you'll have to copy it somewhere else first.
If that's what you're trying to do, your best bet may be to just erase your TM drive, make two partitions on it (one for TM, one for other data), and let TM start over. Disk Utility can do this quickly and easily -- post back if you need instructions.

Getting rid of old email address

I cannot get rid of old apple I'd (email address) even though my new address and applied is verified. Cannot back up data because old email and password have been cancelled.

Whenever I open iPad. It wants to back things up but asks for password using old address. I have updated my profile and changed address in settings but still cannot get rid of it. Tried signing out also.

Cant get rid of old Apple ID

I am trying to get my iCloud set up on a macbook air (2012) as I am about to upgrade my phone to a 6 and want to make sure everything will sync correctly. I have updated to OS X Yosemite and that is all working fine as far as I can see.
I keep getting popup boxes on my screen saying "This Mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with [my old email address]. Open iCloud preferences to fix this problem " This refers to 2 old apple ID's I had (as I changed emails I thought I had updated them on the system but for some reason my computer is still registering the old ones not the current one). When I click on 'open iCloud preferences' I am not able to deselect the incorrect apple ID and put in the current one. There is only a prompt for a password that I don't know anymore.
It is worth pointing out that this is not a problem from the updating to Yosemite as was happening before I updated.
I have registered an iCloud account for my new Apple ID and this seems to be fine I just can't seem to get rid of the old one or these pop ups. I have read that you cannot merge ID's or get rid of old ones permanently.
My main worry is that in deleting the old Apple ID's I may loose music that I bought with those old ID's.

I read the links you provided and this hasn't helped. I have already updated my Apple ID to my current email address and can log in no problem.

Nooooooo! lol... If I want to download again I will, I don't want an electronic trail. Plus when I have Ibooks open, sometimes I will accidently hit the item and it will immediatly try to download it. The problem with that is that its "Time magazines Best Photos of 2012" etc and it locks up my IPAD cuz of sheer size of the book. So I would like it gone from the history. Why would you keep creating new accounts?
Just change the e-mail address associated with the account.
Having more than one account will generally cause problems.
All purchases are always tied to the account from which they were purchased.

Also, you need to have activated the computer for use with itunes. Why that's not done when you install is a mystery.
Because you don't need an iTunes account tio use or install iTunes.
You cannot authorize the computer until you have an account because that's what you are authorizing.
Note, you can only have 5 active computers, but you can deactivate all of them.
You can have 5 computers authorized at any one time. You can only select Deauthorize all when you do hae 5 authorized and you can only do it one time per year.
Next, create/update your itunes account.
Again you cannot "activate" (which is authorize) unless you have an iTunes account. So you cannot authorize iTunes and then create an iTunes account.

what i meant to say, if i didn't say it clear enough, was how do i get rid of old documents and emails that are not currently in my document folder or in my email inbox.

Select the email/s you want to get rid of and then select delete. When all the emails are deleted, select your Trash mailbox, select all the emails and then select delete.
Documents you can drag to the trash (lower right side of Dock). Then empty the trash.
Then stop down to your local bookstore and get some books on Mac OS X.

How do I get rid of old e-mail addresses that are no longer valid? When I send an e-mail to my brother about six e-mail addresses pop up in mail. I only have the current one in my address book, but the old ones still show up anyway.
