Getting segmentation violation while running holos macro
We are unable to build block in HOLOS 7.0 as we are getting the below error while trying to build HOLOS macros.
Error Logging request failed (status = %x0000004F)
Segmentation violation (code %xD3B70030)
Holos block builds until it reaches size 2146435072 bytes and it then stops piling up the logs with the above error message.
Please find below details regarding HOLOS version
Server Holos : V7.0B (built on 01-DEC-1998)
Please someone assist on what is causing the above issue and also how this can be resolved.
Unfortunately, I don't think there is anyone here that has seen Holos, never mind working with it. 12 years is a long time... Let's see if anyone in the community can help. But you may also want to search for other Holos forums or Holos users that may be able to help you out.

I'd be willing to bet that the exception that you have
got is a ClassNotFoundException. I.E. your application
server hasn't found the JDBC driver classes. The
application server probably doesn't use your current
CLASSPATH to look for classes. It will be setup within
the application server in some way and you'll need to
check your app server documentation to see how it is
done.
Try replacing
e.printStackTrace();with
e.printStackTrace(out);to get a full stack trace of your error.
ColTried it. Got this error when I tried to run the JSP.

I'm currently using Apache Tomcat 4.0.3 as my JSP/Servlet Container.
I'm also using Type 4 MS SQL Server 2000 JDBC driver version 2.0 on my NT4.0 Server.

The error is...
Caused by: java.io.InvalidClassException: org.eclipse.persistence.indirection.IndirectList; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = 4038061360325736360, local class serialVersionUID = -494763524358427112
...which means you have two different versions of org.eclipse.persistence.indirection.IndirectList, one on the server and one in the client (JDeveloper). As these classes have different serialVersionUID values then Java throws an exception when deserializing as they are probably not compatible.
I don't know much about the Eclipse stuff but from looking at your post I can only assume one version of the class is in D:\Coherence\toplink\jlib\eclipselink.jar on the Coherence server side and the other is in JDevloper in D:\OracleSOA\Middleware\modules\org.eclipse.persistence_1.1.0.0_2-1.jar as these are the only jar file containing "eclipse" that I can see on the classpaths.

While running "Budgetary control optimizer" we are getting the following error.

It would be helpful if you could tell what type of dump it is.
If it is a timeout you should check whether l_t_backorder_item is empty - in this case ALL document numbers are selected. f you get the timeout with a populated table consider converting the l_t_backorder_item table into one ore more ranges tables - the select with ranges tables is way quicker than 'for all entries'. But take care the ranges table has not to many entries - the SAP SQL converter puts this into one huge SQL statement and this might become too big to be handled by the database (depends on the actual underlying database).
I would also consider splitting the SELECT into two (2nd one with 'appending into table') to make the code easier to understand It also helps the database system determining a strategy for the select.

You can't use 'c_rank' in the where clause because it doesn't exist; you are computing it in the SELECT clause.
Remove the last condition and wrap your query in another one to select by 'c_rank'. -

Getting error 36331 while running prebuilt etl for first time
Hi all,
I have installed BI apps 7.9.6 and OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1, DAC 10.13.4.1 on a Linux machine with Oracle 10gR2 as data base and EBS 11 i as the data source. I am running the prebuilt ETL for the first time for a new execution plan created with Financials-Receivables subject area added to it. Of the total 292 tasks 30 tasks run well and the ETL fails after that with the following error.
The following error message is from the DAC server log. I have seen the session logs and workflow logs for the SDE_ORA_CodeDimension_Supplier_Payment_Method task, but could figure out what could be the issue. Please let me know if any one has encountered the same issue.

I am facing one issue while running forms.By using http://localhost:9001 forms are working fine.
When i use http://localhost:8888 it is showing Internet explorer can not display this page.
It seems it has some issue while installing forms 11g developer suit.

I'm not sure where the sql gets generated, although I see why the code fails (I think). Sql is expecting a real table name but insteas gets either a blank name or the comment /* */. Is that correct?
