New to the forum and I've posted a question a week ago and it has not been answered yet. What is the best way to get help?

Hi I will try to get someone to listen to me this way. This is very serious and no one seems to want to support me. I have had a experience with this and it's not a pleasant one. Surely someone can get this BS stopped. I have programs that warn me, but most people don't.

Answer . they know that there ar lot of 'newbies ' in the martket unaware of the ramifications of taking the recommended actions .

            1 they clog up the pc with useless JUNK ,
            2 , they slow the pc down , as aften they are loaded/running all the time
    3 they *MAY* contain *Malware* , or worst *Virus*
            4 they can try to call other one ( not displayed ) that *maybe a * KEYLOGGER* that records everything you type in the       page
            5 the prices ( at least on pc's ) could be cheaper if they did not 'give them away'    ( the cost is hidden in the price *YOU* pay
            6 if you reply to them , the likeyhood is that you r now on some emailing list . or they have you IP . thus opening the door to spurious emails , or control of your machine .
            7 userr   says they *can be deleted *   not always true. control panel - add/remove does not TOTALLY flush them out of the system
            8 the suppllier * thinks* they enhance the product to entice other sales . but really that is upto the user to do , as he wants
            9 if they are * needed* Microsoft would include them in the OS
           10 so from the above . it can be understood that the pc market , is changing .   WHY?
                      Sales of desktoip and laptop pc are down , they only thing selling in higher volumes is tablets .
think on this what is a tablet ... answer , a laptop without a keyboard , that you pay more for

It takes an enormous amount of patience and time to get through to a qualified person.
My Samsung S5 was locked out and needed a factory reset. Including attempts to achieve this locally, it took over an hour before my problem was even addressed.
You may be interested in my journey to a very good technical support person.
First I called the local sales person who had given me his personal business card with the friendly advice to call me with any questions. No answer at about 8:30 am when the business was open. His voice mailbox was full.
Then I called the local store where I had purchased the phone. The person who answered the phone had learned all the proper stock phrases, but was not familiar with the issue, stated that there were no customers in the store, and I should go there in about an hour when there would be more staff. He suggested dialing *411 from my phone (which was locked). Then he gave me a number to call Verizon, which he had to look up, and it took a minute or so. The number was (removed). That is an internal number for employees and contractors and requires a code to access, obviously not designed for customers' use. He finally cut me off by stating that there were a number of customers in line waiting for his attention!
After researching all my papers I found 800-922-0204 on my bill. The automated message suggested a hold time of 5 minutes, it took 20 minutes for a Customer Service Representative to pick up, and then I was referred to technical assistance. The hold time was announced to take 5 minutes, after 12 minutes I finally was connected.
Fortunately I had my computer set up for Skype on a loudspeaker, and was able to do some other paperwork while waiting.
Persistence was rewarded by having the good fortune to be connected to a very experienced, qualified and patient technical support staff with the name of Thomas (removed). He solved my problem, answered my questions during the process of resetting the phone, and gave an example of courteous and kind customer service that I had never experienced before when dealing with any major internet company.

What does it take to get someone to check into this?

When I try to call my husband, this is the message I get:
Hello welcome to verizon wireless the wireless customer your are trying to reach is unavailable at this time. please try your call again later.
then there is some sort of "error code" cited. My husband's phone never makes a sound, and never registers that a call was missed; nothing. This has been happening more and more this spring and summer.
Lately, Verizon's signal in my area has been poorer than usual; most of the time it is in 3G instead of 4G. There are times when I'm looking at my phone and I can see the signal go entirely dead for a few seconds.
I've tried calling VZW to get someone to check into whatever may be wrong with their system in this area, and get the usual "hard reset your phone", or "your husband had call forwarding enabled, but then it was disabled and we don't know why your calls aren't going thru but hey, we do apologize for that.."
Any idea how to get someone to pay attention? thanks

Help is here, FrustratedNEOhio! We definitely want to make sure that you are able to reach your husband. Does this only happen when you call him? If so, please try the suggested step by tbo27, and try deleting and re-adding eachother as contacts. I realize that your husband's phone does not get a notification when this happens, but do you know if this happens at certain locations such as work or home? Can you also provide a zip code so we can review the area.

It is most likely that they have either mistyped their address or have somehow got the notion that your address is actually their address (inexperienced people do sometimes do this sort of thing).
Since you can't contact them (as you would just get the message back) I can only suggest responding to a suitable message to them and asking the sender if they can contact this person by another method and explain their error. As you have their credit card number possibly you could identify the card issuer (you could ask your bank - the first four digits would identify it) and contact them.
I don't think, given your description, that this is likely to be a phishing attempt.

I don't share my account with anyone. In my iPhone settings>iCloud>Notes is turned off. I checked my computer's iCloud notes and none of the other person's notes are on there. What am I suppose to do?

Getting someone else's e-mails

For the past month I have been getting someone else's e-mails. It started with a warning that my account would be shut down if I didn't pay; then I got thank yous for renting two movies that I didn't rent. Now I have been told after several warnings that my account is good. I have contacted Verison three times to resolve the issue. All three times I was told that my two accounts were current and ignore. However, I am still getting someone else's e-mails. Evidently this is beyond Verizon's ability to fix - they cannot do a search on a particular e-mail and see what shows up. I am quite frustrated by this and there is someone else who is not getting his/her e-mails. Any suggestions other than simply ignore?

Can't give you advice, but will tell you I went though and still go through the same thing. Someone has an email that is similar to mine and I get all their personal emails, tax info, when they were buying a house, I emailed the people once I dug through and found the actual email, Verizon said there was nothing they could do. All I do now, is delete them as they come in. Its irritating though.

Getting someones number into contacts on the fly...how?

When you want to quickly get someones phone number, I will have them call my cell and then I have the caller id. However, I do not see anyway to convert a missed call into a contact (if you tap on it, it simply calls back)
1) Is there a way to convert a missed call into a contact?
2) Is there a better way (an app?) to quickly get a person's phone number/name into contacts via them calling/or other way? Typing in the information on the fly is not a very good approach to me.

To the right of the missed call or a recent call that is not entered in the address book, select the right facing arrow in a blue circle icon.
Options are:

Yes. On your phone make sure it is set to send messages from your phone number, not your apple id or other email address. That way when they reply it will go to your phone.
