Getting SQL Error in BOBJ during SAP R/3 to XSD conversion

Hi ,
i an new to BOBJ, and doing some testing conversion from SAP database table to XSD i am getting follwoing error please help me to sort out this issue

You may take a look into the upgrade log file:
C:Program FilesSAPSAP Business OneLog directory,
filename should be
B1UpgradePid[xxxx]_[YYYMMHH.....].txt
You can find information inside !
If the upgrade failed, please check this file, look for notes, or report the issue to GSC.

SQL error 9002 while Login SAP

Today we were upgrading ABAB and BASIS support pack . while the proccess was going we had an error "SQL error 9002 transaction log is full" after that session got terminate . now we unable to login SAP . We are getting this message "SQL error 9002 transaction log is full" at time of login . Now how do I login SAP and clear the transaction log. what is the solution of this problem .

Hello Jitendra,
whenever you usually do such type of basis tasks like patch upgrades and all it is preferable to switch off the logging so that transactional logs doesnt increase
I would recommed you to go to SQL server studio and change the automatic logging to simple...then you will not face any issues of transactional logs
but remember after your work is over switch automatic logging to full

Two month before, We have deployed Lync 13 set up with lync monitoring and archiving service enabled. After configuring we have the Lync monitoring and archiving services are working fine... few weeks back I have changed the Admin Password
of the Lync Setup. After that Lync Monitoring and Archiving services are not working.
when I try open Lync monitoring service from web UI,

Web UI is opening but Reports home page is not Accessible , Getting error Like
"An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)

The user name or password is incorrect"
Please help me to trouble shoot this problem.

Getting An Error while connecting to SAP :InComplete logon data

I trying to get the tables of SAP using Sapproxy class ,but enable to get the table from SAP Table..
and also using SAP Connector 2.0.1 to connect the .net ,I got the SAP function and I write the code for it but enable to get the data in from the SAP
I am binding the data to the data grid
it is displaying the error like:
SAP.Connector.RfcLogonException: Incomplete logon data.
How to fix the problem ? suggestion please

Migrating from Sql server get SQL Error: ORA-00936: missing expression

I'm migrating from Sql Server to oracle 10g and I'm getting a

not sure SQL Server accepts the syntax you provided either. Even more I have checked MSDN(http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms173565.aspx) and they recommend:
Avoid using CREATE DEFAULT in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use it. Instead, use default definitions created using the DEFAULT keyword of ALTER TABLE or CREATE TABLE. CREATE DEFAULT will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server.
In Oracle you should do the same either use DEFAULT in CREATE TABLE statement or in ALTER TABLE, have a look at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14251/adfns_constraints.htm#sthref626 for more details.
The proper Oracle syntax for your DDL should be something like:

Getting SQL errors with prepared statement in JDeveloper 10.1.3.2

I'm using oracle JDBC driver and I connect and update just fine from the SQL Worksheet in JDeveloper.
1) When I have more than 1 placeholder in my SQL statement, the last one is dropped so I get "Invalid column index".
2) When I add an extra one, it prepares OK but gets "ORA-01745: invalid host/bind variable name" on execution if the placeholder is inside the SQL closing paren (this situation is showed below).
3) When an extra one is outside the SQL closing paren, I get "ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended"
I'm probably missing something obvious but here is the code I'm using:

actually you increment the index
pstmt.setString(++idx,inrecord.getCommentID());
which means you never have an index of 0 but always start with 1

If I've understood you correctly, you are trying to setup a remote database connection from an SAP Solution Manager system running on Linux with a database which is NOT MSSQL to a database which is MSSQL running on Windows.
In that case have you checked these SAP notes ?

Well, Is the above error is happening during the offline backup? What is the impact on the system because of the above error? Is any transaction fails?
The above error could be because of the following
1. Network issue
2. wrong client version. If you are SAP Kernel which is compatible with client 9i, then i suggest to install the latest version of the client. Ofcourse client version shouldn't be more than the version of the oracle server software.
3. and there could be other possible reasons like some error in the alert log, resource issue.

i have done a system copy from production server into quality server. quality was scrapped and freshly installed with SAP then used the DB flush method to carry out the system copy. i had to change the DBS_ORA_SCHEMA in environment variables to SAP<SOURCE SID> from SAPSR3. the sap version is ECC6.0,DB is ORACLE10.2 on WIN NT.

Error in BOBJ PLANNING 10.83

Hi All,
I am getting an error in BOBJ PLANNING 10.83
I get the error while saving a dimensions via selecting Save from the Plan menu.
The error states:
Other users are calculating reports or verifying the database, please try again later.
We confirmed that there are no other users in the system by bouncing the database server and the client machine.
Anyone have any ideas as to why we are getting this error?
We installed a new client and still have the old client available.
When we perform the change on the old system the save completes without error.
Purpose of our change is to move users to the new client but before we can we need to resolve this error.
This is the only error holding back the change all other areas of the application are working fine.
Is there a file that maintains state on the client that would cause this issue or a permissions issue?

Can you post full contents of dev_w0 logs,there must be a ora error also written there.?
What I assume is there is a problem with op$ or sapr3 user while connecting to oracle
If that is the case refer to note 400241,you will find the solution

"An error (1502) occurred during the action Open." when opening original .VSD files, but NOT copies!?

We have a weird situation we're trying to troubleshoot for quite a while: We have multiple .vsd files stored on our network in DFS shares.. We have multiple users who cannot open the files, when they try by navigating to the file and double-clicking it,
they get "An error (1502) occurred during the action Open. File not found"
However, if they copy and paste the file to the same exact network folder, THAT file they can open with no problem!
The problem is very bizarre. I've checked obvious things such as file/folder permissions, versions of Visio installed, things in common between people who can and can't open the files.. I even did some testing today with some strange results...
Windows 7 x64 machine with Visio 2010 Pro installed (x86):
1. Opened file by double-clicking it in explorer, "Got the 1502 error"
2. Tried it again, this time I just get "File not found"
3. Opened Vizio, did a File --> Open --> navigated to the file and opened it that way... 1502 error.
4. Copy/pasted the file into the same folder where it's stored, then double-clicked the copy and it opens fine.
5. Closed the copy, tried to open the original, still get file not found / error 1502.
The file does exist, it IS there.. sometimes the user just copies it to their local desktop (well, it's not really local, it's redirected) and it opens fine there.. other users email themselves a copy of the file and then open it that way.. it works for
some, not for others.. and there's no discernible pattern yet to identify who this is affecting. Anyone have any ideas?

Based on the error message, the issue may be caused by the Visio file is occupied by some other program in DFS.

Thus, I recommend you check the file's status in computer management in DFS server, see the below image:
If the affected Visio files were occupied, please try to clean them(right click>close the file) to test.
