Getting started now, before CS5

Any points or suggestions that any @adobe.com employee would advise to be good starting steps in preparation for Flash CS5 (iPhone dev)?
I'm one (as there are probably others) who like to start development ahead of time, before a release. If we could get started now, and know what tips to follow (lets say developing in Flash CS4 currently) what would they be? Could we start developing a basic application however know the restraints on what functionality to leave out of the application until CS5 rolls out, then finish our applications?

Yes, I started a new table in the Getting Started Spreadsheet. I made a tab for it and started a table. Actually 2 that are now just GONE.
I thought the same thing that it might be in another tab, but I cannot seem to locate it.
I wasn't sure if it was because I started to make my own spreadsheet and the practice one just erases. But like you said, Jerrald, it couldn't have just disappeared.
Does this happen if I update my numbers app?

Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

You may find it gross, but the silver rimmed shape that points into the flow of the curved graphic part may be turned into a button with slightly curved text that blends in but not too much.
Apart from that, the hurricane blowing in the letters upon first opening deserves repetition.

Overheated and screen is black? computer won't get started now

my macbook pro overheated. now when i turn the power on the screen is black and the computer doesn't seem to be starting up.

This just happened to mine also. I just bought a MBP 13.3" and have had nothing but troubles with it. IMovie won't save my adjustments and there is no way to save manually, it took me almost 10 days to get my lion upgrade, and now this after I install it? Recently, some customers encountered the problems when trying to download the Visio 2013 Trial via TechNet Evaluation Center. Generally, we can download and install Visio Professional 2013 trial by the following steps:
1. Click “Get Started Now” on
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/hh973399.aspx
2. Fill out the online form and choose the right version of the software.
3. Save your trial key. Once signed in, you will receive a trial product key along with an option to download the trial package.
Please note:
32bit and 64bit version has different product key.
Make sure you have choose the desired language before you click “Download”

Or, you can also click the download URL to download it directly.
Note:
The TechNet trial of Visio 2013 is no longer to be downloaded as .img format, it has changed to .exe format. We can install it directly.
Troubleshooting
Can’t open the download link or get 404 error
We'd better check the IE's settings, try the following steps:
1. Install the latest updates.
2. Clear your browser's cache.
3. This issue is related to permission, you may run IE as administrator for a test.
4. Ensure that the Internet Explorer security settings are not set to high. Also disable
enhanced protected mode.
5. May be one of your add-ons that causing this. Manage add-ons in Internet Explorer:

6. You could add these addresses to the browser's list of Trusted sites. To do this, click
the green tick and then the button marked Sites, and paste an address into the box that says "Add this website to the zone.

to see whether the issue occurs.
No response after clicking the download command with IE
Make sure we have chosen the language version.
Make sure you've not set block the pop-up windows in IE, because we need to install the "Akamai NetSession Interface" add-on.

Thanks, I checked out your "Before you Install" article, read
it, and bookmarked it, since I'm sure it'll come in handy when I
work with my support resource to install RH 7. I also found a bunch
of RH 7 troubleshooting pages from Adobe. I was hoping to review
the RH 7 Getting Started Guide before and during my evaluation of
RH 7 on a non-production machine over here, so I can determine what
we're in for. The "Getting Started" guide for RH X5 was pretty
helpful when we first purchased the tool.
Help authoring used to be done by just a few of us here
(about 4) up until recently, even though we had 12 (mostly unused)
licenses. Soon, we're going to at least double the number of active
users and maybe even buy a few more licenses.
Please let me know if and when you find out anything about
that PDF file.

THe phone is NOT jail broken.. all i want to do is have it return back to how it was before i started the updae version process obviously it did not take and now it is locked into plave the screen will not change.. after reboots and shut down when i turn it back on the same screeen appears the cd disc with the music note over it and the arrow pointing upwards and a picture of the small end of the charge cord that fits into the actual compute.. The phoen is not jail broken all i want is to get my phone back so i can use it i logged into i tunes and there is no where on the page that gives direction to return it back to its original format prior to trying to up grade .. whe at do i need to do to unlock the frozen compent and reutrn it back to its normal point prior to trying the upgrade

That's an odd looking error to see when creating a new project.
Did you create the project with Dolly?
Dolly should have set this up correctly.
Look in your Xcode project.
In the Groups & Files section you should have a file:
????NoStrip.cpp
where the ???? is the short name that you provided in Dolly.
That contains the method DontDeadStrip() that the compiler is looking for.
If it's not in the project, check your source folder and drag the ????NoStrip.cpp
into your project.

Go back to the editor and close the photo there.

Set Yahoo as you home page, and set firefox to open the homepage when it starts. (Not to open previous pages).

Try restarting Firefox, the one time page(s) after starting a new release should disappear. Actually this last time with 8.0 they did not come up for me.
If that doesn't work then bring up '''about:config''' and place the url of the page into the filter. Right-click on anything that comes up and use "Reset".

That error message suggest you have a permissions issue. Make sure you have full read/write privileges for the Drive/ Folder location that you are copying the files to.
