Getting the Error at RWB Communication Channel Monitoring
Hi,
I'm getting the following error message in the RWB - Commincation channel monitoring level. I have used teh Module configuration
for doing Asynchronous to Synchronous bridge ( File to RFC to File ) . For this I have used the following modules in my sender File adapter - 1 .AF_Modules/RequestResponseBean , 2. CallSapAdapter ,3. AF_Modules/ResponseOnewayBean.
My PI version is PI 7.0 (EHP 1 ,Service pack 5) This version will suport the bellow module configuration .. or not...?
I had done the scenario by folowing the same wiki .
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/File-RFC-File(Without+BPM)
But I'm getting the following Error messages
Error: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: XIAdapterFramework:GENERAL:com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: Channel stopped by administrative task.
Received XI System Error. ErrorCode: GENERAL ErrorText: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: Channel stopped by administrative task. ErrorStack:

The message status set to FAIL.
Please suggest me any corrections.

Issue with RWB Communication Channel Monitoring
Hi All,
I am getting a error in RWB >> Communication Channel Monitoring.
I deactivated the receiver JDBC adapter, and now when I activate it, in the RWB it shows <i><b>'Channel started but Inactive'</b></i> I tried to start and stop the channel and also activating and deactivating the channel. But no success, it keeps showing <i><b>'Channel started but Inactive'</b></i>. Pls advice....
XIerHi XIer,
Ideally adapter status should be in green when it is up and running..
if it not then..
1. check the status in ID. It should be in active state.
2. check the status in RWB .It should be in green. I not check that your adapter got activated without any cache error.
3. Do a CPA Cache Refresh. -
CC not visible in RWB-Communication channel monitoring
Hi All,
Communication channel created in the directory is not visible in
Communication channel monitoring of RWB. I refresh ABAP cache, SXI_CACHE,
CPA cache. Still its not visible. Deleted and created again. Still no use.
None of the communication channels newly created are visible in RWB. Could anyone suggest some ideas to resolve this issue.
Thanks
RickyHi
Just to be sure a basic question to start with : You do activate your channels in the ID after creation ?

siva grandhiHi,
This solved this issue for me:
Setting Maximum Database Connections
Perform this step only if you want to check or change the values.
1. Open the Visual Administrator tool.
○ j2ee admingo.bat if you also use SAP WAS ABAP.
2. Log on as an administrator.
3. Choose Server ® Services ® JDBC Connector.
4. Choose the Properties tab strip and select sysDS.maximumConnections.

Edited by: pasi s on May 5, 2008 8:40 AMHi Pasi,
Check if you are using the same business service (under which u have created the Channels) at sender side in configuration.
You have to use the same business serivce for sender under which your communication channels are created...................
Or
Create a sender communication channel in the service that u have used at sender side.............
So i think in your case there is a mismatch of using the diff sender service at diff stages.............
Hope this will solve your problem

Communication channel monitoring, adapter monitoring error
Hi ,
I am using SAP PI 7.0 with HP-UX.
Here we have 6 logical hosts in one physical host.
Physical host name is u2013 xyz
Integration server name u2013 sappid
The Central SLD: sappid
URL for sappid: sappid: 50300
When I monitoring RWB----
>communication channel monitoring, adapter monitoring, in Development system It's detecting another logical host ( like www://sapard:50300 ) and getting page cannot find error.
1.SLDCHECK
http://xyz:50300/sld
host name: xyz
port number: 50300
user : SLDDSUSER
2.SXMB_IFR
http://xyz:50300/rep/start/index.jsp
3.SMICM
icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=8003
icm/server_port_1 = PROT=SMTP,PORT=0
icm/HTTP/j2ee_0 = PREFIX=/,HOST=localhost,CONN=0-500,PORT=50300
icm/host_name_full = sappid
4. SLDAPICUST
SAP_CONFIG 1 xyz 50300 SLDDSUSER
5. SXMB_ADMIN
Role of Business System Integration Server
Corresponding Integ. Server http://sappid:8003/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
Integration Engine Configuration Data -> Check button
6.When I opened the http://xyz:50300/rep/start/index.jsp I got the
XI start page.
when I opened the http://sappid.AIG.com:50300/
the page not found issue, when I opened http://sappid:50300/ I got the
XI start page.
plz help me for this issue.
thanks in advance.
regards,
reddy.Hello,
I think the FQDN is not set properly.
Problem in the parameter
SMICM
icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=8003
icm/server_port_1 = PROT=SMTP,PORT=0
icm/HTTP/j2ee_0 = PREFIX=/,HOST=localhost,CONN=0-500,PORT=50300
*icm/host_name_full = sappid *
Replace this parameter in instance profile
icm/host_name_full = sappid.AIG.com
Then in the host entry of your server please add an entry
172.18.23.233(ip your ur Xi server) sappid.AIG.com
Then let us know the result.
Thanks and Regards

IDoc adapters not in "communication channel monitoring"?
Hi,
I've modified some information that the receiver IDoc adapter is using (the logical system ID). But after I refreshed all the caches the change is not updated when I send an IDoc to R/3.
When this kind of problem happens with RFC adapter you just have to stop and restart the communication channel in communication channel monitoring. But IDoc adapter is not here... so, how can I restart the IDoc communication channel?Hi,
IDoc adapter doesnt reside on Adapter Engine, its part of ABAP stack, because of this you cannt find it in RWB-Communication channel monitoring...
Try refreshing the cache:
Transaction: sxi_cache
CPACache refresh using the below url:
http://<server:port>/CPACache/refresh?mode = full
to get the changes affected.

My findings :-

2. At SOAP UI client tool :

Kindly advice !!!
Regards ,1. Check PI id and password is working fine.
Check if the user you are using has SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER role.
Another way is to pass id and pwd in URL
Try to pass the User ID and Password in the URL( the URL which is given to the webservice).
Example: http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=party:service:channel &sap-user=xxxx&sap-password=xxxx
2.Provide SOAP URL like -
http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=party:service:channel -

Channels not monitorable in the Communication Channel Monitor / RWB
Hi,
Back on XI after a long break ☺
I am facing an issue with our in-house JCA adapter used in XI scenarios. When trying to monitor the channels using our adapter from the Communication Channel Monitor in RWB, I have the following:
Status: NA
Short Log: No adapter registered for this channel
The adapter is deployed and the integration scenarios using it work perfectly:
- sda package deployed through the SDM
- the metadata defined in the Design
- a valid and working configuration involving the scenario is defined
The messages are going through and are monitorable in both SXMB_MONI and RWB...
All other channels using system adapters (File, RFC, SOAP ) do display a status (as a color icon) and a Short Log and they can be administered (start/stop) using the enabled buttons when selected
From the Adapter Monitor page, our adapter has a green status, and all the channels configured to use it display the status, Name and Text information...
I have no idea what could be the issue should the adapter implement a special interface to be monitored from the RWB, is it a configuration issue, permissions issue???
I saw 2 posts with this error message but they did not help me to figure out where the issue is
Thanks for your help,
Adalbert
Edited by: Adalbert Wysocki on Apr 29, 2008 6:52 AMHi Gouri,
Thanks for your response, I will try would suggestion for testing... but
I am wondering why the namespace has to be http://sap.com/xi/XI/sample ???
It sounds weird that this namespace has to be fixed... as the purpose of a namespace is to create a isolation/container for names... so it needs to be customizable...
I did not see anything in the Adapter Development guides related to this kind of constraints...
Thanks,

Capturing the communication channel monitoring error into an alert.
Hi,
The following is my scenario:
File adapter polls using file content conversion,if the source file is not in a proper format the file wont be picked up and communication channel will show error in channel monitoring.
I have to configure an alert for the same.
Can i capture the error message shown in communication channel monitoring and raise alert?
Many Thanks,
