Getting the TOC progress indicator w/o displaying the TOC?

Hi,
I want to display the progress indicator (that is, the 00:30 / 06:00 Minutes widget that comes with the TOC) in my Captivate output, but I do not want the TOC. Is there any way to display this type of progress indicator without the TOC (in Captivate 4 or 5)?

The goods movement will not be allowed without system status release.
But with user status you can block goods movement even if the system status is "Released".

Once more i need your help.
I have built a website that can connect insert and retrieve data into and from any database.
My problem is that, since some of the insert operations take long to complete, I would like a pop up progress indicator to display in order to keep the user inform.
I have tried AJAX stuff, but i am not satisfied.
Is there another way to work this out?

I have similar problem.
Basically my page do search in the database which takes some time. so when search starts I would like to display the progress indicator or some thing which will show some processging is going on in background. Once it completes the background processing, the same page displays the result. At this time I want to hide the progress indicator.
Is there any way to do this. I am using EA17 with JDev.

How can I get the page loading in progress indicator visible as in 3.6??

Methods in cl_gui_frontend_services will break the progress indicator

Hi guys,
I have a list of directories of client to check if it exists.
I use cl_gui_frontend_services=>directory_exist method.
And I want to show the progress indicator.
But the method directory_exist will break the indicator, show the status bar's message is like, flashing. appear, disappear, appear, disappear ...
You can use the codes below to see what happens and can take a comparsion when you comment the method directory_exist .

I'm not sure there is anything you can do about the flashing clock icon in this case. This may just be a limitation of the GUI.
Of course, you always have the option of using 0% as the percentage when calling SAPGUI_PROGRESS_INDICATOR. This will eliminate the clock from the progress display, leaving just the percentage number plus the '%' sign.
In other words, you can eliminate the annoying flickering by changing your function call to:
CALL FUNCTION 'SAPGUI_PROGRESS_INDICATOR'
    EXPORTING
      percentage = 0
      text       = a.

Can't get past gray screen with progress indicator... Help

I can't turn on my Macbook. It starts but won't go past the gray screen with the progress indicator (spinning circle).
I have tried:
1. turning off, removing battery, holding start for 5+ seconds, replacing battery and then turning on.
2. Holding command + option + R + P while staring up, waited for 3+ chimes.
3. holding Shift down while starting up
none of these things are working.
I've been on hold with apple service/support for almost an hour now.
I have an assignment on the computer that is due by midnight.
HELP!
I'm not very computer savvy and this is my first mac.
Any ideas folks??

I've two iPod Nanos (4th gen - 8GB). I'm facing a severe problem with both of them. For both iPods, I tried to do this method Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button. But of no use.
1. My first iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?
2. My second iPod is facing more severe problem. None of the buttons are working. When I connect it my PC it showing "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting". But it is not ejecting with all the usual methods. When I manually and physically disconnect it from the PC the same "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting" is still showing till the battery goes off. After that if i press any button it is showing low battery signal. And when i re-connect it to the PC the same process is repeating. When I tied to restore it to the factory settings I'm getting "Error" report.
(I'm using windows 7)

How to use progress indicator which block the user for editing ?

Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to show a round progress bar while processing to the database.For example :- I have a bounded taskflow and inside it I have a two jspx page called as "First.jspx" and "Second.jspx".And i have two textboxes and one "Save" button on first.jspx page.
Now when user puts the values in the textboxes and hits the "Save" button , my ticker or progress indicator should say "Please wait while processing" and as soon as the transaction is complete , i need to show another page which is "Second.jspx" page. "Save" button action has method inside a managed bean which has some functionality and then it executes the VO(View Object) and commits the data.
How should i implement the indicator?

Progress Indicator not displaying

We have an existing web application built using older version of Crystal Viewer control that doesn't display any progress indicator when the report starts running. However I see with CR 2008, it's possible to display a progress indicator.
I have migrated the application to work against CR 2008, however I am unable to display the progress indicator. I added the following configuration entries but with no difference.

Getting Java console error when trying to display the PO

Hi All,
In the approved shopping cart when we select any item details and when we go and see the follow-on documents we get two options to select 1) Display as Graphic 2) Display as Table. When we are select the option 2 display as table we are able to see the shopping cart and also the PO and further when we click on the PO it is displaying the order details.
However when we go by option 1 display as graphic, we are able to get the details of the shopping cart and PO, but when we try to click on the PO we get Java error indicating as follows. "Error. Click for details". when we click the on the error a window will apper and indicates that Application failed to run.
we installed the latest version Java and tried still we are getting the same error. Can any body help me in this.

I want to have a progress bar monitor and display the progress of a file being opened, How do I do it?

I have written large files for a report. When I open the files in the VI by pushing a button I want to view the progress of the file being opened. My first thought was to get the file size, some how measure the number of bytes comming out and monitor it on the progress bar. I am unsure about how to do this. If you know of a better way to monitor and disply the progress of an opeing file please let me know.

If I understand you correct the progress bar is not the problem, it's to get a numeric value indicating the progress...right?
If so then you could read the file size, preallocate a byte array to hold the file, then read it in chunks and put the chunks into the array using replace array elements...(you could concatinate strings, but that would easily become very memory and speed expensive...)until you have read the entire file. If the file is 20 MB and you want the progress bar to have a resolution of about 1% read it in chunks of 256 KB...For each chunk read, increment the progress bar...

No errors in error console. No effect using *. I tried using the dns name of my localhost both in the Firefox URL and in the javascript and I get exactly the same. I have spent a huge amount of time looking into this issue.
One thing I noticed is that if I use the examples on the internet (http://arunranga.com/examples/access-control/preflightInvocation.html or http://saltybeagle.com/cors/) they work in the same browser. These examples however, are accessed through HTTP proxies.
I am wondering if the issue has to do with using the same hostname just with different ports.

Do you get the Installation indicator every time you Restart or Start Up your computer? On all my computers upgraded to 10.10, I get the Installation "thermometer" indicator every time I Restart or Start Up my computers. In Verbose mode, I see a bash command that is looking for the Installation image to finish its clean up. Does anyone else have this problem? Is the Installation indicator the new "normal" start up and restart screen for 10.10?

If you are referring to the progress indicator that appears every startup, that is normal. It has replaced the old spinning gear. There's nothing wrong.

Displaying progress indicator during signature validation of jar files

Hi,
I have a question concerning the launch of a web start application. After starting a wab start, a splash screen is shown first, which we have configured in the jnlp file. The splash screen appears for some seconds, then it disappears and it sometimes takes one or two minutes where nothing happens until the application is getting started. I mean there is no indicator which tells the user, what is going on (this is our problem). In the background you can see that first of all the jar files are getting updated (a progress indictor is shown) and then the validation of the jar file signatures starts. I would either like to accelerate the signature validation somehow or show a progress indicator during this process.
Or is it something else what can slow down the launch of a web start?

When you drag the progress indicator, it pauses the playback.
So it could be that you've dragged to a point where your objects from one slide have faded out but the ones from the next haven't started to fade in yet.
Clicking the Play button on the playbar should get you going again, if that's what's happpened.
