I noticed that I have a dent in the top case. What does it cost to have this replaced? I have a 2010 13" MBP.

Why is my computer unbelievably slow after getting the top case replaced?

I got it replaced recently as the keyboard and trackpad didn't work and now it's the rainbow wheel of death if I'm lucky, or just freezes. Either way, I have to restart with the power button in the corner at least once an hour. I know I have had it for years, but it's worked perfect (until I spilled tea on my keyboard and that and the left side of the trackpad broke) and even then, it was still as fast as can be, even though only the right clicker on the trackpad worked. It took fifteen minutes to just load this page and type (it kept freezing/jamming). Not only the price was double what it was supposed to be for some reason, but now this. Is there anything I can do?

Why do we have to replace the top case to replace a keyboard?

I see replacement keyboards sold all over the place online which means they must be able to com apart from the case. If this wasn't possible then why are these parts for sale and who are they intended for? People keep saying that you must replace the top case but you can buy just the keyboard from many sources. Can someone clear this up please? There wouldn't be a market for just the keyboad if you couldn't do it, so it's hard to believe it can't be done.....

I have an issue with my Macbookpro 13". It stopped coming on when i wanted to use it and now the technician says it is the top case that has to be replaced since it appears i have applied too much pressure on the power key.
My challenge is that it is gift from my Boss to me and he is no longer in the country and i doubt if he still has the purchase receipt. I am being told that before it can be ordered, i need to produce evidence of purchase. What can i do?

Expanding on what Tim said to make sure it's clear, only the carrier to which the iPhone is locked can authorize unlocking. If Optus is the original carrier, as would seem to be the case, O2 would not be able to unlock it. Only Optus can authorize the unlock, so you'll need to contact them. They say, though, that only the account holder can apply for unlocking, so you might not be able to get it unlocked and will have to work through the person from whom you bought the iPhone.

Little warp on the corner of the top case

I was working in the library today and someone kicked the power cable which caused the fail down of my MBP just purchased a month ago from apple store, now there's a little warp on the corner of the top case, not too bad but make me feel super weird.
Everything else's working fine now but I just can't handle the little warp, and it wasn't the first time that the megasafe failed to protect my computer, it fail several times and finally it hit the ground right on the corner and warped.
I just booked a call from apple tomorrow morning and see what I can get... I'm sure the topcase thing's not gonna be a super big deal for them to fix or replace since the warp is quite small but I really don't want to spent a buck for it... Since I'm having a very tight budget now for my new school's coming.

Dents from drops and other impacts are not covered by your warranty. If you want your top case replaced (which is the only way to fix it), you'll have to pay.

Get the top org unit

Just because an org currentlly is not reported to another org necessary means that it's the top org (i.e. it could just mean the org hasn't been assigned the org relationship just yet). The above function is to traverse the org from the 'bottom up' all the way to the top org.
Depending on what your company set up of org, they could have a 'D'ivision' as the highest org for example, and set up a relationship such as 'A020' between these org to the type of related object 'D'ivision . If this is the case, you could easily query org with these kind of relationhips to identify top org.

Is the frame around the screen (where the bezel is located) included in the Macbook case replacement program?

I have had to have the top case on my macbook (white) replaced may times as I'm sure most of the owner of that paticular macbook have had to do. In the past I have experienced cracks on the handrest/keyboard portion of the case, but this time I have a crack where the bezel is right above the screen. Will Apple replace that frame for free also?

I know how to get the counts, I was not sure how to restrict it to the top 10 of the whole list

from (select error_code,count(error_code) arc from err_log group by error_code order by arc desc) where rownum < 11 ; The order by in the subquery does not garantie, that the result is ordered outside. Therefore rownum not necessarily works as expected.
But of course your questions how the top 10 are defined are important to give the correct answer.
