Getting two same workitems in PO release workflow for 2 level

Hi experts,
I am working in PO Release workflow upto two level of release.
But while triggring my workflow by creating PO I get two same workitem.One of the two has correct Release Code(I have checked that in workflow log) and another has Release Code with no value.If I execute one of them Its working fine.But 2nd one still remains in inbox.I think my workflow has been triggred twice while I am creating a PO.
Can someone suggest, where is the problem?

              Can i use Business object BUS2081 for the purpose ?
              WS00400012 is the standard workflow for the same purpose for NON PO invoices.

Payment release workflow for MIRO documents

Hi,
I have activated payment release function and successfully able to get workflow item for payment release for FI invoices posted through F-43 and FB60, but not on RE documents which are posted through MIRO,
Can some body provide inputs on how to trigger a payment release workflow for MIRO documents.

Thanks. Short of the sort of "generic" suggestions of restaring your system, if you haven't, and repairing disk permissions and verifying the disk, I don't have any advice right now. I'll do some research and see if I can come across anything. Meanwhile, someone else may have an idea.

Workitem Lock problem in workflow for leave request

Hi Experts,
I am facing the strange problem in the workflow of the leave request.
We have implemented the two level approval for workflow. For the first level approval we have created custom WebDynpro application where approver approves the request and selects 2nd approver for the workflow. Here we are calling method initiate_state_transition of class/interface if_pt_req_request to change the status of workflow from sent to approved in custom WebDynpro application .
For the second level approval we are using standard approval application.
When 1st approver approves the request, workflow moves to next task, but this task gives error "Work item 000000605682 locked by user SD21690 (enqueue error)".
I am not getting why this is happening?

Hi
As you have developed a custom application for first level approver where the status of record is being changed from sent to approved.
please check what is the workitem number that is initiated. If its 605682 and the first approver is SD21690 then please make sure you release that workitem in your webdynpro application.
You must have customized the workflow to add the first approver step. Where you would be mentioning the name of the custom application in SWFVISU against your custom task.
The problem is with the workflow so please check the workflow. Your first approer is not releasing the workitem post approval and that is the reason for lock.
Vivek - this lock is not enque lock its a workitem lock.
Please revert with further questions if required.

PR workflow for item level release (stock and non-stock)

I am not getting the agents.!!
I am creating a workflow for pr( item level release)..and using standard wf WS00000038 for this, as the standard wf contains the simple release procedure only but i have to add some custom steps to it, so i have copied this wf as custom wf .
In this wf i have to fetch the agents based on the "stock" and "non-stock items".
so i have maintained strategies and release code like:
i have maintained two strategies W1(non-stock) and W2(stock)..and release code for W1 are P1 and P2..here P1 i have given for my first level of approval and P2 for second level of approval.
The release code for W2 are P3 and P2..first level is P3 and second is P2.
so what i have did in a workflow , started with a condition step where i have given "releasecode = p1".. if yes than than it will go for getting approval from p1 , in this activity i am using standard rule 157.
The main thing is 1). i am not getting how to fetch agents using standard rule. 2)and how and where to define next level of approval for both stock and non-stock.
means by using condition step in the starting i am dividing workflow in two parts stock and non stock but how to proceed next.
i am really confused. should i use rules or write my own methods. please if anybody has gone through the same scenario than please suggest some points. i will really appreciate the help.

                   Include the task TS00007986 and all its branches and in a loop and loop around it for two times.When the loop goes for the first time, it should pick the first agent and during its second iteration, it should pick the second agent.
                   To accomplish so, In the same loop, but before the above task , include a background task which should populate the agent ids depending on stock and non-stock details and pass it to the the task TS00007986
                   That's all.

Either you can check SAP notes for the same or you can customize the workflow. If the event being triggered is different then copy the workflow and change the workflow start condition.

Getting two copies of print when only asking for one.

Hi, whenever I send a job to print, I always seem to get two copies even though I have only requested one. It is wasting both paper and ink. Any ideas how correct this problem?. Thanks.

You could try resetting the printing system. This will remove your current print queues so you will have to add the printer queues again - but you will not need to install the driver software again.
To reset the printing system...
1. Open System Preferences > Print & Fax
2. Move your mouse over the Printers list
3. Hold down the Control button and click the mouse (or right click if supported).
4. Click "Reset printing system ..."
5. Restart your Mac

Would like to create PO release for 2 levels.
1. Purchase HOD , if a total value is upto 100000, it should trigger PO HOD .(0-100000)
2.Managing director, if total value is more than 100000 it trigger only MD release ..( 100000 onwards )
How the above thing can be achieved in PO release strategy ??
Explain with every steps ..

Create two release codes i.e. HOD and managing director and create two release strategies.
Apply HOD to first release strategy and in classification button maintain value characteristic as 0-100000
Then in other release strategy, apply release codes HOD and Managing Director, then
in classification view maintain value characteristic as > 100001, meaning if value exceeds 100000, this strategy will get triggered.

Can't get two same printers (MG5420) work on same home wireless network

I bought another MG5420 this week and tried to setup it on my home wireless network. It is on wireless network. However, canon printing utility seems couldn't find it and it always go to the original one(old). How do I make both of them work on the same time?

Thanks for your quick response. I am using Windows 7 and canon printing utility was newly installed on this pc. If I connect this printer to the PC with USB cable, it works fine(of course). I used printer panel to setup wireless connection through WPS and it seems fine(wireless connection signal on the printer is solid blue). If you need any more details, please let know. Thanks,.

PR Cost Center Release Strategy for Item Level not Working

I have a class with 2 Characterictics, CEBAN-ESTKZ (Creation indicator) and CEBAN-KOSTL (cost Center) and I have 2 release strategies the first one should trigger when MRP creates a PR ( ESTKZ=B and KOSTL=No input) this strategy is working fine, but the second strategy should trigger is if manually I create a PR and it is relevant to a cost center (ESTKZ=R and KOSTL=XXXX) This is not working, I dont know why sistem is not triggering the release strategy if everything seems to be ok.
I know ceban structure has kostl field, but I checked and this field is not in the EBAN table, maybe this is the reason but then how will this work and as far as I know, this is standard field.
I checked in CL24N and all the objects are assigned to the class, all hace status released (1) and and the "OK" check mark
I checked in CL30N and if I enter in the ESTKZ characteristic=R and KOSTL=XXXX Then it finds the correct and only strategy, so I don´t know why this is not working, the only strange thing is that in CL30N if I only enter value R and leave empty the cost center, the system finds and shows me the 2 release strategies, this is strange.
Is it mandatory to include the acc assignment field in the release strategy?
Please give some guidance.

I have entered with leading zeros to complete 10 characters and is not working, I really don´t understand what is going on here, It should work even if I just have 1 characteristic assigned to the class right? this characteristic is CEBAN-KOSTL but this is not working.
Any more ideas?

Terminating Event in PO Release Workflow. Workitem is not terminating

Hi WF Experts,
I have done Purchase Order Release Workflow with 10 level release With 2 days dead line. Since standard release supports only 8 level release i have opted for Role Resolution Via User Exit 9 . and i am picking release codes from ztable.
I was working fine till now.But suddenly end users are facing problem that workitem is not terminating even after they have released the PO.
What could be the issue what is the terminating event for PO Release workitem.
Please suggest me how to resolve this issue.
