Getting "TypeError:components.classes(cid)is undefined. Is this Firefox error?

I only get this error when loading Firefox 5. I have re installed 5, to no avail. What is the fix for this.

Receiving this error "TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined" when opening Firefox 4. Never received this prior to upgrading to version 4.

Also receiving this error when logging on to some websites. Able to close the error screen and continue but it is aggravating.

This is the error message I get when i click to open FF after i downloaded the newest version: "ug-in object: TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined" . The message is in the top left corner and not fully visible. i sent a message a few min ago so i am sending this b/c i copied the error message to help diagnose the problem.

When I click to open Firefox, A box open with the following error:

After I click close on the box, then Firefox will start. I really just want to get the error fixed so that when I want firefox open, I don't have to see this box anymore.

You need to figure out which add-on is causing that error and disable it until the developer of that add-on fixes it. There may be an error message about that in the Error Console, accessed through the Web Developer menu item or through {Ctrl + Shft + J}.

I tried to uninstall AVG antiviral software, but it did not uninstall. Next, when I try to open Firefox I get a box popup that says:

I finished downloading Firefox 4.o to my Mac OS.X.
When I try to open a website I get the message:

If I click the OK button, the site opens, but without the McAfee alert at the bottom of the window.
I had just downloaded 3.6.16, and got box suggesting download version 4.0 for better security, but that seems to be where the problem is!

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions. 
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
