Getting unknown error when printing with latest version(using HP Laserjet 1200). I can't print at all using this version. Able to print previously.
I ceased to be able to print when the latest version of FireFox was
downloaded. I can print from the same websites using I. E.
My printer is a HP Laserjet 1200 series. I only get the error(an unknown error occurred while printing) when trying to print through FireFox. I can print email fine and any other instance as long as I'm not going through FireFox.

We are using a couple of EFI (Fiery) controllers with our Canon copiers and I have been told by Canon support that we need to be using the MacTel (Universal Binary) versions of drivers for Leopard. Luckily for us we have mostly new models of RIPs and the UB drivers exist for these models, but I know that they are not available for all models, which I believe includes your X3e.
To determine if you have a driver or RIP issue, you could save the file as either PS or PDF and then use the EFI utilities, such as Command Workstation, to import the file to the RIP (select Process and Hold) and then see if you can print your multiple copies that way. If that works then you know that the RIP is probably okay.
The next test would be to create a generic PS queue to the X3e and print using this queue. If this works then you can narrow your issue down to the driver.

The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem. -

Why do I get unknown error when I try and add storage to iCloud account ? I have funds in account but I do not have a credit card # on file.
This didn't solve it for me. Card details already there, and iTunes purchases working fine.

I keep getting "unknown error" message come up when I try to get an app. I have put my password in correctly but I then get a message saying I've put my password in incorrectly too many times. So I change my password but I still get the "unknown error" message. I have changed my password 4 times now and nothing is working
I received this email from Apple and this corrected the problem for me... I only had to reset the iTunes cache
1) Open iTunes
2) At the top menu, click File > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences on a Mac)
3) In the Preferences menu, click the Advanced tab
4) In the Advanced menu, you should see a button that says "Reset Cache". Please click this button. -
Getting an error when outputing with Autocad
I have the latest Adobe viewer installed 10.1.1. Yet I get an error when trying to output to a PDF. It wasn't always this way.
error is; "No PDF viewer installed"
Please helpMac or Win? Can you open Reader? In any case, you cannot create PDFs with Reader, which is, well, very little more than a reader of PDF files.

Unknown Error When Saving with CS6
I am receiving an unknown error when trying to save my document. I have tried to take off the PDF convertable part, and tried saving it legacy style, but it's still not working. I have a doc open I need to save and won't be able to shut my computer down until I fix this... What could be the issue? Is there a fix for it?

HenriAfter nearly ripping my eyeballs out and chucking my laptop out the window, I finally fixed the problem!
For some reason I didn't have a CMaps folder in my Adobe - Common Files - Font folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts\Reqrd\CMaps
So I made the "CMaps" folder and copied and pasted the files "Identity-H" and "Identity-V" from an "Adobe Reader" CMap folder, and now I can save text in an *.ai file with PDF Compatibility checked.
It's pretty strange Illustrator was working for 2 years without this folder, and now all the sudden it needed it. Also, this is a very obscure fix.
Hopefully the programmers at Adobe have fixed these bugs in newer versions. -

Sometimes - and I stress sometimes - this can help. Sign out, restart your iPad and sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap your ID and sign out. Restart.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign into your account. Then try to update your apps. -
Getting unknown error when uploading to iCloud
When I try to upload a document to iCloud from pages, I get "An unknown error occurred." This happens at the point where it's creating a word doc. If I continue it comes back with this error "One or more of the selected download formats couldn’t be created."
This is a document I started with Page on my iPad, downloaded to the mac via iWork.com and am now trying to upload back with updates. If I tell it to continue to upload after the error, the document does not show up.
Steps (nothing advanced here):
"Share" menu -> "Upload"
I am using the latest Mac version of Pages on 10.7.2 and latest iPad version of Pages on iOS 5.
My goal is to just sync the document for my own personal use between my Mac, iPad & iWork.com. No need for sharing here.

GThis seems to be a few problems all at once. I narrowed down the "word" error to something in the template. I rebuilt the file using a blank document, copied the text over to and copied back from TextMate (to strip out any formatting) and then it at least *said* it uploaded without error. When I then looked at the iWork.com web page the doc was not there. I'll move this over to the iCloud threads to see if I can get an answer on why it's not showing up.

Keep getting unknown error when connecting iPod?
Each time I try connecting my iPod in I get an error message in iTunes. It does the same thing when I connect my iPhone in too.
The iTunes version is the one before 9.2 came out.
I get an error saying "iTunes could not connect to this iPod because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000001)."
Please help I'm not sure what's wrong and can't find anything on this issue! D:well last I tried it did but I'm not using it now because it's at geek squad for repair so that's why I'm using the mac. I've always had this problem with this mac but never addressed it since I used my pc in the past. I think the problem may be is the mac needs updating. It's a G3 but I'm planning on taking it in and having it updated to the newest os/processor, all that good stuff.
But I just switched usb cables and that seemed to work for the time being. Thankfully -

I get unknown error when trying to set up iCloud on my PC
WHen installing iCloud manager on my pc (Dell XPS 1330 laptop) everything seems to install ok untill I try to sync for the first time.
IT looks like its working but then an "ICloud has experienced a problem" message appears. It seems like its an unknown error. I have uninstalled and started over with no luck. Any thoughts?I ignored my laptop for a couple of days and last night noticed that it had been updated by the cloud.
I had added a test contact to my iPhone and it has appeared on outlook on my laptop. -
Getting "Unknown Error" when opening a project
I had the "Adobe Premiere encountered a serious issue" error come up at the end of an edit and now receive "Unknown Error" window when I try to reopen that project. I have tried deleting the .PRV files and have also tried importing the project into another project, but still receive those errors. I've also tried several restarts. Any help would be much appreciated here!
