Getting unwanted email notifications

Help!  I didn't know where to get this answer -- I signed up for Apple Support Communities and selected no email notifications but I'm getting tons of email notifications.  Any ideas?

Questions concernig the list itself are baest asked in Using Apple Support Communities
But while we are here have a look at Stopping emails from ASC for an answer to your problem.
BTW I'll see if a host will move this

  • Getting a Email notification if phone is unplugged

    Hi Experts
Is it possible to get an email notification when phone is unplugging for more than one hour from the network? We are using CUCM 7 and CUOM
    Thank you
    Bawanraj

I had a client that was asking for this.   Its hard to do, unless you use a third party app such as LiteScape or IP Celerate.   You can have SNMP alerts sent from the switch to a collection point, that would then notify you about the OID sent from SNMP of that switch.  You will get the MAC address of the disconnected device, but thats it.   You would then need to do some sort of AXL/SOAP call into CUCM to query the MAC address to get the DN and possibly the user owner of the device. (or more information basically)

    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004/helpdata/en/5a/d089b338769f40a3a86ea938701c3f/frameset.htm
but still i am not getting any email notification when i reset or lock the user .
Can any one tell me what should be done for that.
    Thanks
    shashank

    Hi shashank,
you referenced the configuration for the collaboration service e-mail transport.
This is needed for instance for the collaboration rooms invitation.
For notifications about user management you will have to configure e-mail notification in the UME.

I am not aware of a way to get such documentation.
However, with a good patching policy, you can identify potential issues. Mainly, you can have a monthly patching cycle where you install patches on non-production servers and then you review the documentation of the patches before pushing them to production.
The KB documentation usually includes known bugs and workarounds. You can also give a look to the forums where new issues are usually shared.

Judging by the number of other threads on this, yes many people have been having Yahoo mail issues with push, and it appears to be on Yahoo's side, not Apple's.

  • TS4006 I was able to get a location on my stolen MBP but I didn't get the email notification in time to log into to iCloud to view the location, it is only viewable for 24 hours. Does anybody know how to get that info back? I've been on the phone w/Apple

    Hi,
Does anyone know how to get in touch with iCloud support directly? All iCloud support roads lead to CPU tech support. My stolen MBP finally came online and gave a location but I didn't check my email for a couple days, was sick, and iCloud only displays location map for 24 hours. Desperatly trying to regain the location info. I live in a small town so location info might actually lead to the recovery of my baby.

    Try:
    - Powering off and then back on your router.
    - iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
    - Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
    Public DNS — Google Developers
    OpenDNS IP Addresses
    - For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
    - Try on another computer/network
    - Wait if it is an Apple problem

i did every thing you said and when i went to restore this is what happened: the ipod software update server can not be contacted. make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later. what do i do to restore.     i used the last way to do it the dfu

  • Suddenly getting unwanted event notifications from shared Google calendars

My company has been using Google Apps for Business for almost 6 months now.  We all share our calendars with each other so we all can see who is doing what and when.
On my iPhone 6, I see the list of all my subscribed calendars, but my own calendar is the only one checked to be displayed.  However, JUST YESTERDAY, 7 January 2015, I am suddenly getting notifications for all the meetings in other people's calendars.  I checked the Google Calendar settings, and all other calendars besides mine are set to "NO NOTIFICATIONS" yet I'm still getting them on my phone.  It is driving me crazy because some of these calendars chock-full of events and appointments.
    What could be happening?

I have iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1.3, and this is the solution that's working for me so far. However, I had to use the Calendar app on my Mac OS X (Yosemite) - not sure if there is another option for PC. Basically, I added the shared Google calendar to iCloud and told Google not to sync the shared calendar to my iPhone, so the shared calendar now shows up under the iCloud list of calendars and not the Google list (and thus the option to turn off alerts). Note: the shared calendars I'm using are read-only, so I don't know how well this would work if you need to edit events from iPhone. I hope this helps, and if anyone has a better solution, please share!
    1. Turn on iCloud calendars on iPhone and Mac.
    2. In browser, open the shared Google calendar settings and copy the iCal calendar address URL.
    3. In Mac OS X Calendar app, subscribe to the shared Google calendar. File > New Calendar Subscription > paste shared Google calendar URL > click Subscribe
    4. Set Location to iCloud. I checked Ignore Alerts because I also didn't want them on my Mac.
    5. The shared calendar should now be listed on your iPhone calendars in the iCloud section with the red i.
    6. Press the red i and scroll to the bottom and switch off Event Alerts.
    7. Remove the shared calendar from the Google list by going to https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect and unchecking the shared calendars.

  • How to get email notifications automatically

I recently got the iphone 5 and I wanted to know how can I get my email notifications to come up automatically instead of going into my mail and refreshing it?
    Thanks in advance.

Like I said that would depend on what email you're using.

  • Email Notification is approved but BPM Task is not getting completed

    Hi,
A transaction is submitted, the approver gets a email notification. The Human task is Actionable.
So in the email, approver can see Approve / Reject links. On clicking the links it generates a email response and it is sent to the server also.
But the task is not getting approved.
Do we need to check any settings in the server or task?
       Thanks for your help.
