Getting Video to Automatically Transfer to the iPhone

After transcoding videos with Videora, they show up in a smart playlist I've created, but they WON'T TRANSFER TO THE IPHONE along with the video podcasts in the same playlist. Why?
I CAN get the transcoded video to transfer IF in iTunes I click on Devices: iPhone> Video tab> scroll down to Movies> click "Sync movies" > and choose each video individually. Of course, this way to laborious and needs to be automated. Not only is this a pain, but *IT SCREWS UP THE OTHER PLAYLISTS SENT TO THE IPHONE.* In what way, you may ask; it adds playlists to my iPhone I do not have selected under the Music tab. Why?

1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

You don't actually swap the SIM card. For some reason, AT&T doesn't like you to do it that way.

You get this info from the iPad (1 or 2) select 'Settings' then 'General' then 'About'...
The IMEI and ICCID info is on that screen. No need to swap the SIM cards. This process outlined above transfers service instantly and does NOT change the plan type, billing, user info, or days remaining. Basically anytime an ATT customer wants to move a data plan the ATT iPad web page is all you need. No phone call!

Are you using the earbuds that came with the iPhone? If you are using other earphones, it's possible that they need an adaptor to work with the iPhone's recessed headphone jack.

I found this response to the problem in the MacRumors forum:
"Syncing of music via iCloud (iTunes Match) precludes syncing of music via iTunes. This is not a bug, you simply must decide whether to use iTunes OR iTunes Match but not both, to sync music on your phone. To stop syncing music via iCloud and use iTunes to configure what is synced, on your phone go to Settings / Music / iTunes Match and turn that OFF. Then go back to iTunes on your computer, then Devices / [Phone name], select Music from the top menu, configure your sync settings, and click Sync.
"Alternatively, if you wish to use iCloud/iTunes Match to sync but only via Wi-Fi, then on your phone go to Settings / Music / iTunes Match, make sure it's on, and change its subsetting "Use Cellular Data" to OFF. However, this may prevent you from listening to your music via phone when you are away from a Wi-Fi network."
I unchecked the iTunes Match on the iPhone and the music synced fine.
