Getting warning message when running BW Report

Hi ,
When i am running saved query iam getting warning message pop up and when iam clicking ok button iam getting data.
My query is there is any way to remove that warning message pop up message?

Hi,
You can suppress warnings for the querries :
- In Bex you teel to go to the toolbar and suppress warning.
- if u r using Web Template then go to the Template properties and tick the checkbox for suppress messages.

Deadlocked error message when running crystal report

Hi All,
I need a bit of guidance as to the following problem.
Seems there is a lock being created in SQL when running some crystal reports.
When trying to run a report the following message is displayed:
Database connection Error L 'ADO Error Code: 0x
Source: Microsoft SQL Native Client
Description: Transaction (Process ID 302) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.
SQL State: 40001
Native Error: [Database Vendor Code: 1205 ]'
The error is happening intermittently when refreshing the report. It does not seem to happen when no users are using the system.
Is there any way to stop this from happening? Or is this some kind of limitation with crystal and how it accesses the database?

Hi Matt
I have had this problem with long running queries as well. I ended up doing the main part of the query in a view using WITH (NOLOCK) for each table and then reporting on the view.
This had extra benefits of making the report much simpler and often making the query more efficient and easier to test as well.

Keep getting warning message when starting macbook...

i have Directv, and, the website wanted me to download its player for viewing on laptop. anyway, i went to applications to delete it, which i thought was successful. now, i keep getting a message everytime i jump on my mac that states the following:
Do you want the application "NDSPCShowServer.DTV.bundle" to accept incoming network connections?
also shows to either click "allow" or "deny".
like i stated, thought i deleted that app. how do i get rid of this message that always comes on screen when i start my macbook?

In an ideal world there would have been an uninstaller which gets all the files you missed when you deleted the app from the Applications folder. First thing to do is check and see if there is such an uninstaller, e.g., from DirectTV. Or maybe there is at least a log file somewhere indicating which files were installed where. Failing that, please run this program, EtreCheck, and paste the results here. Probably this will show where the extra software is hiding.

Getting warning message when using bulk option

I have a very strange problem. When I am trying to insert records into my table (Using Buld Loader Options) I am receiving warning says "ODBC data source <xxxxxxxx> warning message for operation <bcp_bind ScheduleID>: <[Microsoft][ODBC SQL ServerDriver]Invalid use of null pointer>, SQLState <HY009>."
but when I remove the selection of Bulk Loader option then it works fine and run successfylly without any warning ...

what is the version of DI or Data Services ? if you are using DS XI 3.0 (12.0.0.0) or DS XI 3.1 (12.1)

Unusual error message when running any report on R12 (fresh installation)

I managed to install R12 on W2k3 finally and got several problems since. Now I am getting below message in log file, every time I run any report. It seems it works for other other concurrent programs (tried Workflow Definitions Loader). Below log is for the report run in AP module, but I also tried others and they do not work.

Have you defined a dummy printer at the OS level? If not, please do so and check then (bounce the CM before submitting the request again).

For MRKO settelement (for consignment/pipeline) you must maintain the purchase info record.
In the P.I.R PRICE and TAX CODE is mandatory, in your case the tax code you entered is not taken by the system just check the tax code or change the taxcode and create a p.o and post goods issue and try MRKO.

Getting error message when running a script to make an .doc attachment open

Open PDFs fine but when I try to open a docx document I get an error message:
NotAllowedError: Security Settings prevent access to this property or method.

When trying to open a non-PDF file, you must specify to use a converter, by
setting the parameter bUseConv to true (which can only be done in a
privileged context). Also, I'm not familiar with this type of path... Are
you using this to open a file attached to the active PDF? Does it work?
Have a looked at the openDataObject-method of the Document object? It is
meant to launch PDF attachments of a file (but it can't be used for any
other file format).

CHeck the value of REPORTS_TMP.
Else, you can test with rwrun60 / rwrun and use tools like :

UNIX : truss / strace

User encountered following error message when running XL Reporter reports on Excel 2007 running on OS Windows XP.

SSRS 2008 Created Commssion Report, now getting error message when I run this ( need Help)

in SSRS 2008 2 years ago created Commission with sub reports added, it was working fine, some how started to get error
message when we entered some invoice # see below screen shot of error message
but same time if I enter different invoice # it process the report without any error message , donot understand the problem
what's causing this issue, I have looked each sub report,
can some one suggest any idea,
I have spent hrs to figure it out, no luck so far.

I upgraded my 2007 iMac (20") to Maverick. Should never have done this! Lost mail, lost my mail archive, lost numerous programs/applications, lost all my installed hardware, spend 4 days on getting it running again with the (supreme) help of Apple Care. However it should not have happened at all!
iMac Computers with less than 4Gb of internal memory (as explained by Apple Care), or less than (estimated) 150Gb of free disc-space should not upgrade! Simple as that and the App Store should warn you about that and not simply let you pick up your free copy of Maverick!

if itunes will not run, you probably have mangled windows badly
one feature of windows 8 is the refresh that saves libraries,
because you are using windows 7, you will need to backup all files to another storage device
