Getting what I want out of my HP Officejet 7000?

Greetings All !
I have an HP Officejet 7000 that I purchased primarily for one unusual purpose:
I have designed a board game and intend to do the printing of the board surface myself.  The board document is a Microsoft Publisher file with a page size of 18.75" x 18.75".   My thinking was that I could use two 13x19 pieces of paper together to make up the board (one page for each half).
So, I'm doing some test prints this morning.  Now, I fully expected that I'd have problems telling Publisher to print the right half of the document.   I had a similar issue on smaller paper a few months ago.  I "fooled" another printer by converting the document to PDF format, printing the left half, rotating the document 180 degrees, and then printing the other half.
This leads me to my first question:   I CAN do this work-around with the Officejet 7000, but I can't help but wonder if there's some way I can adjust the Print Settings to do the same thing directly from Publisher?
Now, that said, for my test prints, I primarily used the "borderless photo" shortcut (and unchecking the setting for monitoring the page width).   I am printing on Epson Photo Quality Inkjet Paper (also called "Presentation Paper").  Here's a link to it:

What surprises me most about the prints is how DULL the black lines appear to be.  I used black lines to draw my spaces on the game board, plus I have a thin black "gutter" around the entire board.  The black just isn't "crisp"!    I'm assuming there's some combination of settings I can use to overcome this?

You can get out of your Edge contract simply by paying the balance remaining on your Edge payments.
You can cancel your service at any time and the amount owed will not be affected. You used to continue making Edge payments if you canceled service. I am unsure if that is still the case, or if the full amount becomes due upon service cancellation.
You can cancel your service simply by porting your number to another provider.
