Getting "Windows-No Disk" error when try to open itunes

itunes will no longer open. Every time I open it I get a Windows-No Disk error that says "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive." itunes just totally freezes up and I can't access anything. This error makes no sense to me. (BTW, I tried putting in and taking out disks in drives, but no change.)
I think this problem started after I upgrade but can't remember now.
I haven't seen anyone else mention this error so I'm stumped... and very frustrated. Appreciate any help.

I have the same probelm and I think it's also from upgrading to the free 7.1 version of iTunes.

Normally there is no problem to open any INDD opening on Windows, when created on the Mac.
But Mac user are often not aware on the naming limitations. A file name must not contain /, \, |, :
It should not contain any extended character, it is not a primary problem but will be, if something links to that file, so avoid also: ÄÖÜäöüß+&
You can use all other non A-Z a-z, 0-9 and - and _
I personally would also recommend to avoid spaces.
This is valid for the INDD file itself but also for all linked content.

I received an error when trying to open itunes. It said itunes stopped working, so I tried to uninstall and re-install. It let me install it, but when I tried to open it, it gave me the same error message. How can I get itunes back on my laptop (windows).

Perhaps is post what the error is someone might be able to offer assistance.

Getting Error Message When Try to Open iTunes

I recently had to reinstall my Os now I am having some issues. I unlocked all the folders to access my archives but now I open iTunes. I even reinstalled (10.4.1) the application but I am still is getting this error message, "The folder “iTunes” is on a locked disk or you do not have write permissions for this folder."
I do not know what to do. Please advise. Thx.

Window - No Disk error message after update to iTunes 7.1

I updated to iTunes 7.1. After turning on iTunes for the first time after the download, I get a box that says "Updating iTunes Library". During this process, I get the dreaded error message: "Windows - No Disk" I clicked on it a few times and it went away. Then it came back and no amount of clicking would make it go away. At this point, iTunes no longer responds. I have gone thru this process now about 5 times.
What is the fix?
Does Apple answer this issue anywhere or is it left to its customers to speculate about this stuff?

Strange error when try to open secured doc using PDDocOpen

I have a secured PDF file. When I try to open it using the below code I am getting an error like below as message box.

I would like to know why this is coming and how to suppress this error message box. I need to show my own message box.

The only thing I can GUESS (since I don't have the actual PDF) is that the file is encrypted with a custom security handler that is being invoked during the open process and choosing to bring up UI.

I am using Visual Studio 2005 and Framework 2.0; but I don't have any oracle database installed locally.

first, close vs2005 IDE, try using gacutil supplied by VS2005, then restart vs2005.
the command looks like this,
gacutil /i Oracle.DataAccess.dllgacutil is available in SDK folder or vs2005 installation.
Oracle.DataAccess.dll is available in {ORACLE_HOME}/odp.net/bin/2.x

I receive a R 6025 run time error when starting a search in I Tunes Store.
I have downloaed the latest version of itunes.

someone told me about a quick fix until apple addresses the issue. put a shortcut onto your desktop, right click on the shortcut and choose run as administrator. you can search away. it worked for me.

A -69 typically suggests a damaged file (although it's much more common on an ipod sync rather than on an iTunes launch.)
So, try running a chkdsk over the drive your iTunes program files and music files are stored on (or over the drives they are stalled on, if you have the music and/or library files on a different drive than the program files):

Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, will iTunes launch successfully afterwards without the -69?
