Getting your photos from your computer back onto your camera

I downloaded pictures from my camera to my computer and when i unplugged my camera all the pictures were deleted from my camera's memory card. I want to know how to get the pictures from my computer back onto my camera. Please Help!!!

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Unless the camera can be mounted on the desktop like an external storage device you'll have to get a card reader, mount the memory card with it and copy the photos back to the card. I'd take one photo with the camera first so there will be the correct folder configuration on the card to put the photos.
IMO it's much safer to upload the photos to a folder on the desktop with Image Capture or a card reader and then import from there into iPhoto. Too many reports of incomplete or aborted uploads and complete deletions from the camera.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Select the photos in iPhoto and export them in the size you want for your frame to a desktop folder (file menu ==> export)

Help! PC crashed.. how do I get my music from my IPod back onto my ITunes and PC??

My PC recently crashed. I have a new one now, but once I re-installed ITunes it only pulled the purchased music. How do I get all the other music that I burned from CD's and from other sources back onto my PC from the IPod? I know there has to be a way to do this... please help!

If I edit a photo in e iPhoto app then connect and bring up iPhoto on my mac the iPad device has no photos to import.
I have imported hundreds of photos from iPhones and iPads - I know how to import.
Even if there was a photo laying there to import - that is not what I want because...
Imagine if I had 100 photos then edited all 100 photos on my iPad.
Then if I imported them I would now have 200 photos in iPhoto on my mac.
I want the edited photo to update the original just as tho I edited it in iPhoto on my mac.
So I could "Revert to Original" if I needed to but probably never would.
So the question is when you share to iTunes where does it go?
Also the new album it creates "Edited" - What's the story on that?

There is no official way to get photos off the iPhone short of emailing them. There are some 3rd party apps that will copy files off an iPhone (use Google), but remember that the photos are optimized for the iPhone and will have lower resolution than the original photos that you have lost.

My Mac crashed and had to be restored, my IPad was synced up with it and now every time I try to synch it to my computer it wants to erase all my photos from my iPad. Thank you. I am trying again to backup my catalog to my second hard drive. When I tried it before it would stop at 64% at which point I figured it was stuck and cancelled it. The third time I tried it I let it go for a day, and then it gave me an error message. Unfortunately, I was so frustrated I didn't write down or look up the error message, I just decided to copy in Windows instead - just so I would have a backup for my stuff. Currently it again seems to be stuck on 64% again. I will let it go and see if I eventually get an error message and then try to look that up and resolve it. Unless you did a backup of the phone prior to the restore, you don't. Remember that restoring to a particular date and time will restore the device to that particular date/time, so anything after that point is deleted.

Transferring photos from my Mac back to my camera - can't do it, can you?

I use a canon d30 and an iMac and can't figure out how to transfer images from iphoto back to the camera. Can anyone else do it?

As Canon cameras don't mount on the desktop, the only way to to do it is to use a card reader, which will. You can then drag and drop your pics onto the card. Be sure to follow the folde structure of the card if you want to see the pics on the camera.

My bookmarks were synced to my android device. Then my computer was reformatted. How do I get my bookmarks from my device back onto my computer?

Both the device and the reformatted computer are linked to my sync account, but while the device has all my bookmarks, the computer is empty. I synced and re-synced and did the whole backup-restore thing, but nothing. I don't want to do something that will wipe out the bookmarks on the android device, too, but I can't find any instructions that help me with this.

I had toclear the hard drive of my computer and reinstall Windows 7. Now I want to transfer all the music and photos from my iPad back onto my computer. I authorized the computer (it is the ONLY computer authorized on this account - and this is the ONLY account on this iPad). ITunes then downloaded my purchases...or at least it tried - out of the hundreds of tracks I have purchased, it managed one album that I bought over a year ago and NOTHING else. So I tried to Sync - since on older versions of iTunes (that were SO MUCH MORE user friendly) that would do the job -transferring things that were only on the iPad onto the computer and vice versa. It doesn't do that anymore. So I went from my iPad's summary to the Music tab - the box for Music was not checked but when I checked it said the only thing it could do was erase EVERYTHING from my iPad and replace it with what was on my computer (that ONE album). What is going on?
Why hasn't iTunes downloaded my other purchases since I authorized the computer? (there are over 3,000 tracks...not 18)
