GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED in EWA generation

Hi Experts,
I am facing the following dump u201CGETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED u201C, Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLDSVAS_GRAPH" - in u201CSET_EXTREME_VALUES".The main program was "RDSMOP_MAIN ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 275 of the (Include) program "LDSVAS_GRAPHACI".
Friends I am facing this issue while generating EWA report for R3 server only, Iu2019m able to generate EWA report for other servers like BI, CRM. But while creating EWA report for ERP server Iu2019m getting this dump.
Certain thing I would like to highlight. Recently we did a support pack upgrade, mine is a Solman 7.0 EHP1 system. We update the support pack up to " SPS 6 ".Before the support pack upgrade it was working fine, I was able to generate the EWA report for all my servers.
Do any body face similar kind of problem?
Responses are highly appreciable
Thanks & Regards
Dusmanta

Hi,
Implement the following notes in the same order and then check again.

  • Manual EWA generation in SP12

    Fellow Members.
The time has come to say goodbye to beloved DSWP transaction (and RDSMOP_MAIN). SAP has moved everything to  workcenters. That is a good move and looks sleek.
Today I had a sudden urge to generate ad hoc EWA in SP12 manually in a good old way (creating a empty session in DSWP and then running Refresh Session in SDCCN on managed system). But to my surprise in workcenter there is no way we could do this (or atleast I did not find any options to generate ad hoc EWA in workcenter).
So any of you were successful in generating ad hoc EWA in SP12 please let me know. Or do you have any information from SAP side that this feature would not be available anymore then pls update me.
    Thanks You
    Vivek

    Hi Vivek,
It is possible and you need to goto system monitoring workcenter for this
    follow the steps in wiki
How to create an Ad Hoc EWA report in Solution Manager 7.1 - Solution Manager - SCN Wiki
this still works and i have tested in all 7.1 versions

I want to generate EWA report for my Enterprise Portal system which is JAVA Based.
I had read the document attached in note 976054. As per this note data will be collected using SMD.
Now I want to know that from where can I start SMD? Is the any configuration require for SMD?
My current solution manager level is Solution Manager 7.0 with EHP1 with SP19. So any new patch installation is require?
All configuration will require at solman side only? No any configuration will require at Enterprise Portal side?
Please guide me how can I generate EWA?

  • Can I reschedule Early Watch Report's generation schedule?

    Dear gurus,
There is a backgroud job running in our ECC PRD system. It gathered the performance data and sent it to SAP.
SAP will generate Early Watch Report for(EWA) me every week.
Now my question is:  Can I reschedule the EWA generation period in ECC PRD via SDCCN? Because I want to get  Early Watch Report that contains our PRD system's healthy status from 1st June to 30ty June (the whole week).
Can I? Hope you could give me some advice.
    Thank you very much!
    Jason

    Hi Jason,
I guess you meant "the whole month" instead of "the whole week".  Unfortunately the EarlyWatch Alert report is always weekly and cannot cover an entire month.  But take a look at Service Level Reporting.  An SLR can be weekly or monthly and contains much of the same data as the EWA.  I think it will satisfy your requirements.  A good starting point is here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_smehp1/helpdata/en/36/5ec6267ba34de08c55e3c310ebdece/frameset.htm
    Good luck!

    Hi Afi,
Kindly note the sequence of steps to be done for EWA generation.
    1. Setup of the Server, database and system in transaction SMSY.
    2. Generating the RFC's for the System and ensuring that the trusted
    RFC works.
    3. Adding the system to a logical component and assigning the logical
component to a Solution Landscape created in DSWP.
    3. Setting up of EWA from the Solution Settings from the operations
    setup in DSWP.
    4. Configuring the SDCC / SDCCN on the satellite system (see note Note 763561 ) and adding the Solution Manager RFC to the SDCC settings.
    5. Refreshing of sessions via the SDCCN transaction on the Satellite
system. This can be automated via the Auto session Manager Report.
    6. Processing of the session and sending the collected data to Solution
    manager.
    7. Processing the collected data in the Solution Manager System and
    generating the EWA Report.

    Dear Anand,
Did you perform a complete service definition replacement for SDCC/SDCCN as described in the note?
These are manual steps you need to perform on the system and are not code corrections.
I would suggest you perform it, if you have not, and check the SDCCN logs to review the process ran cleanly.
Note: Please make sure SDCC_OSS is functioning and a connection to SAP can be made before
    deleting the service definitions.
If you have already replaced the service defintions on the Solution Manager system, then no point doing it again. However checking a note and applying it are not the same thing. So I am uncertain if you replaced the service definitions or not. The dump you are getting in SM:EXEC SERVICES suggests its due to a problem with the service definitons. The recommendation is to replace them according to the process described in SAP Note 727998. If you have not done so please do so.
If you have successfully replaced the service definitions are you still getting the same dump, or has it possibly changed?
    Regards,
    Paul

  • EWA report generation in Solution Manager 7.1 SP12

    Hi Friends,
I am done with Managed System Configuration..
Now I need to generate EWA reports for the same.
But I am getting some inputs that, EWA is automatically configured in Managed System Configuration itself.
Can you guys suggest me accordingly..
    Thanks & Regards,
    Solman Starter

Just start the workcenter and navigate here:
Adding other systems can be done via SMSY ->
You also have to check your SDCCN settings: There must be a Maintenance Package scheduled daily which uses your SolMan system.
I suggest that you flag your RFC to SolMan as master:
    (Display/Change)
    (Set Master Solution Manager system)

Please replace the Service Definitions in your SAP Solution Manager
system as described in SAP Note 727998.
As of SAP Solution Manager 7.0 (= 4.0) Support Package Stack 15 (which
includes ST-PI 700_2005_1 SP06) you can trigger the required steps
    within transaction SDCCN:
Menu Utilities -> Maintain Service Definitions ->
Select 'Delete and Replace Service Definitions -> Confirm this
selection-> Confirm that you want to delete the definitions -> Confirm
that a new task 'Service Definition  Refresh' was created
Take a note  of the task id -> Review the log for this task id when it
is completed. You should not see any errors for either the update
of a Service Definitions table or the generation of any re-import
    include.
Reschedule SM:EXEC SERVICES and the reported dump will no longer
    occur.

  • Dump GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED during execution of SM:EXEC SERVICES

    Hi all,
since i've installed SPS17 for SolMan 7.0 I can not process  CPH and EWA data for the
    availability service level reporting.
I always get the following shortdump:
GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED - Field symbol has not yet been assigned
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "RDSVASAEC_ROOT_____________054" - in
    "ACTION_109".
The main program was "RDSMOPBACK_AUTOSESSIONS ".
The problem is with the FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fieldno> TYPE ANY.
    Any ideas?
    Regards
    Mario

    Hi Mario,
I would recommend to open a customer message on SV-SMG-MON-SLR.
    - Mention, that you have already replaced the service definitions.
    - Open the connection and provide logon data.
(I found the hint in old customer message, but I had also doubt, that this will not solve the dump. The type of dump does not fit to the "dump caused by old service defininitions".
    Best regards,
    Ruediger

  • Configuration of EWA reports for java systems.

    Hello,
I am facing a problem with configuration of EWA reports for SAP NW Portal.
I have already configured EWA for abap systems, and those are running good on weekly basis. but i have problem with configuration of reports for java systems.
So far, i have installed an SMD agent and CA on my EP-satellite system. I have also configured and SMD server on my Sollution Manager and registered the SMD agent on SMD server and installed Willy Introscope on SMD server.
I  am using a central SLD which is running on different host as Solution Manager. I did all the configuration (smsy_setup, configuration of sld_data_supplier etc... )
I have also created the system in SMSY, matched the smsy with SLD and assigned Logical component to java system.
So far, so good according to manuals but when i  want do define data collection in the SMD for Gargage Collection  (task in scheduler) i cannot see host of my portal system.
I can see only the hosts (scheduler tasks ) of all abap system for which the EWA reports have already been  generated.
    Am i missing something?
    Some configuration in SMD?
My solution manager is running on Sap NW 7.0, SPS16,
Sattelite system  NW 7.0 EP, SPS 6 (planning to SPS 19)
    Thank you for your advices!!!

    Solved
The problem is with some enhancement done using easy enhancement workbench. That field group is also getting added in the layout and the enhancement was not moved to production.

  • EWA Alert

    Dear Experts,
I am trying to send an EWA locally from my ECC6.0 Quality system.
I have already configured Satellite sytem and Service desk in my solution manager.
    Procedure I am following:
In my Quality system I went to Tcode SDCCN. Then I have activated it via Utilities-->.activate
Automatically two task has been created: Task name: Maintenance Package and Service Preperation check.
    Then I went to Task>Create>Request session data-->then I select periodic(Early Watch Alert)
After the background jobs finishes again went to Task>Create>Refresh session.
    My question is:
    1. Is that the right steps I am following.
    a. Maintenance Package
    b. Request session data
    c. Refresh session
    2. What will be the Target RFC Destination for all the three task(if correct).
I am confused about the Target RFC's for the three task.
    Please suggest something.
    Regards,
