I have this card, msi gf3 ti200 Td/Tv out 64mb
I am trying to get dualview (to extend to a second monitor) but I can't ,
I can get both monitors to show the same output but not extend the view,

I have a GF3 ti200 on Win XP with a Philips TV. I was wondering how I can output my monitor onto my TV. I connected the S-Video cable from my tv to pc, and went to display properties...device selection, but all I get is Analog Device but not the TV option. I was reading some of the threads and saw people talking about needing special drivers and programs, but I don't know how to output to the tv. What do I do???? Please help me!!!!!!!

one hard drive (me) uses these drivers, my xp hard drive uses 28.32 drivers. what kind of card do you have? are you using the drivers that came with it? I no its frustrating, try tweakers asylum site forum, I got some good tips form a person that goes by spacedriver good luck!

GF3-TI200/TV out won't autodetect

I've got an annoying problem... the NVidia drivers refuse to detect the TV connected to my TV-out on my MSI GF3-TI200. I click autodetect, and it won't see the TV, and so all the options are disabled.
I tried TVTool, which worked great, until I hit the 15min limit! ;(
Is there some trick to getting the TV enabled, or is there an alternative to TVTool (I don't care about all the odds and ends, just copy my desktop to the TV!)?

Problems with VIA KX133 + GF3 Ti200

My system crashes after installing via 4in1 drivers (i've tried 4.28, 4.35, 4.43) runing 2D or 3D applications.
When starting any 3dmark2001 test it crashes. Without via 4in1 i can run 3dmark2001 without problems but the results are extremely low.
OS Win98
MB Biostar M7MKB (via KX133 chipset)
CPU Athlon 650 MHz (slot A)
MS-8851 GF3 Ti200 64Mb DDR
RAM 2x128 Mb Kingston PC133
ATX 300W
I mention that i didn't encountered anyproblems before installing the videocard, on my older RivaTNT2.
Any sugestions?

No irq conflict before or after installing 4in1. And the same happens under windows XP. I also tried 4in1 4.20 wich came with my mainboard. I also tried detonator 21.83 , 23.11 and 29.42 under Windows 98. No iam really out of ideeas. In bios the only options regarding AGP card are AGP memory (set to 64) and video bios shadow, so there's nothingto do there either. What can i try next?

I've installed clean win98, then detonator 29.42 then modem and directx 8.1 (also tried 81.b). Then i made a backup of this state on another disk, wich i am reverting to after each unsuccesful try. So there is no driver mix-up. And no, there is no conflict before or after 4in1 installation. Also the system hangs apparently randomly in 2d apps. (but everytime i start MSOutlook ??!) and always in 3Dmark2001 at the begining. So, it functions ok but slow without 4in1, and crashes afterwards with 5 different versions of it.... My guess is ther might be a problem with the mainboard AGP voltage in4x or something (the 3D card runs ok on kt133 chipset with via 4in1 4.43)

I'm trying that now but the only option in bios is AGP 4x Mode (on/off). Is there any program able to switch between modes while running ?

Im having random resets with a kt3 ultra and a MSI GF3 ti200 in 3d games; namely Mafia and Bf1942. Ive tried new drivers for the video card, checked the cpu temp, and bios settings. Any ideas on how to fix it or is their a compatibility problem with the mobo and the video card?

I found my 6380 v2.0 mobo liked 1 brand of ram more than other.I only run crucial,kingston or muskin(micron chips)ram.Put all bios settings to defaults & try only 1 stick(1 brand) of ram at a time.I also found my gf3 ti 200 & 500 liked certain versions of drivers over others.It would crash on some.Try original cd install drivers that came w/ vid :D card.Try running 3d mark 2k1 bencmarks to test all drivers & ram.

I haven't had any problems with this RAM in the past - can you get RAM problems with a BIOS change? I will try to get hold of some other RAM to try as this would be easy to test...I'll let you know how it goes

G3 ti200 pro 128 agp problems

got a new card. when i installed it all i can get is 1x agp.
my motherboard is set at 4x in bios ( ecs k7vza ).
in the properties i cant change anything on msi info page. please help i tried new drivers but it didnt help.

G3 Ti200 Pro VT - TV Out & nView?

Hello all. I have the above card, and, as it seems with most people, I can't get TV out to work. I want to use the card for video editing and have managed to get Video In working fine.
I have tried 21.83, 28.32 & 30.82 drivers but I am unable to select TV as the output device in the device selection window.
People have been saying to click on nView and select 'clone' but nView doesn't appear in any of the display windows and when I search file for nView, all I find is a .DLL file & a .DL_ file.
I have also read that I might need to flash my BIOS. Can someone please explain what this means and how to do it.
I've sent emails to MSI support for help but they don't seem to know what support means.

YES, the original drivers shipped with the GF3Ti200/VT work perfectly with the TV-Out.
YES, newer drivers do not work with it.
The problem is the detection of the right tv encoding chip. The 8850 has the Philips 7102 chip on board and the original drivers detect it.
But newer drivers above 23.11 detect the Conexant Bt868!!!
I'm from Germany and called the local MSI support.
They told me that there is still no solution for this problem... and that was in april !!!!
And after six months since my call NOTHING has
happened to solve this SERIOUS problem...!
My question to the MSI support is:
When are you going to SOLVE it? Next year?
YES, I'm already seriously sad and angry about it.
I hope someone of the support crew reads this...
because all I can read in this forum from them is that you should make a bios update with their live updater or check your OS!?!

Sorry, I find it really inconvenient that after six months nothing happened...

Best drivers for my gf3 ti200

what are the best drivers for my vid card? live update still is only giving me 31.00 but i've seen others on msi site.

Go directly to nVidia's site if you want the latest WHQL'd version.
Guru3d has a nice archive too.
Personally I would just use nvidia's drivers with the coolbit's registry hack to open the clock settings. Also found at Guru3D site....it's all over all you have to do is do a search like Google.

GF3 Ti200 8851 and XP - unloading MSI Drivers..

Does anyone have instructions for unloading the MSI manufacturer drivers and to replace them with a nvidia reference set of drivers?
I've tried loading the 30.82 detonator drivers and the say they've loaded but still am missing things such as openGL, FSAA, d3d menus.
I suspect that my MSI drivers aren't unloading since under my display properties no matter what I do the MSI clock ans MSI utils tabs still show up.

Well it's your time, money and 'puter, but don't expect your troubles to vanish, with a other videocard.
Sb Live is a known troublemaker, so better solve it or you end up with more new hardware then only a videobord (meaning new mobo), look overhere please

earlyer you did not mention 8851, sorry about that, but i think all bioses are the same for Gf3Ti200 what ever type you have.
I've had my trouble with MSI, bad support,drivers and so on, but basically there products are fine, even better then others, so please don't call it a cheap product in the context of bad performing hardware.

K7N420 and ATI 9500 Pro work???

I am thinking of purchasing a 9500 pro 128mb video card and would like to get opinions...
I am nervous about buying a $200 card and not having it work.
Anyone know if they would play nice together?

Longtime reader first time poster.

If no one posts with any experience, I can say I have had the AIW8500 I think that was the model w/64mb.
My Asus GF3 Ti200 64mb blew it out of the water in my opinion.
It was ok and it worked without a hitch. I have seen users with the new 9700 and it works nicely.
The three systems I saw firsthand, in person were all running XPhomey.
If you can wait and see what develops you might be glad you did. :D

I have an AthlonXP 1800+ with 1 Gig of RAM so I make the minimum requirements (not the recommended) if my GF3 Ti200 has HW T&L.

You should be able to upgrade to an FX series card but without your specifications I can't be sure.

Kt4 ultra ati 9700pro only x2 agp locked out

can anyone please help, just brought a kt4 ultra and a 9700ati i cant hightlight the auto in the agp rate set up in the bios..
i have tried all new ati drivers
msi live update says i have newer or same bois
ati control panel only allows me to set x2 max
errrm no jumpers on board to set agp rate
i installed mobo and gpu with a fresh install of win xp
even took ati 9700 out uninstalled driver cleared regdit
replaced with gf3 ti200 installed went into bois
yipee allows me to set agp rate not greyed out on auto
so set to x4 save bios.. uninstall gf3 blah blah....
once ati is back inplace the friggin agp rate is greyed out on auto again.. which it sets on x2 in ati control panel and 3d.marks info both say x2
it seems to be a problem with the mobo not liking the the ati
dose anyone know if msi know of this problem ..or they have it in hand with possible bios update.
or as mobo is just 2 days old return back to the store and say it dont do what it says on the box..
