Ghosting in Movie after export

Hi,
I'm having more problems with exporting Movies from Adobe Premiere.
I shoot stock video to sell with an agency - The clips HAVE to be exported in a .mov format at either Motion JPEG A or JPEG B.
The trouble is, I have a few clips of people jumping around, celebrating a goal - The clips were rejected from the agency due to Ghosting.
It is evident that Ghosting is there, the trouble is, I don't know how to get rid of it. I have used the exact same movie export settings and had many, many clips accepted that way. These clips though, have lots of sudden movement in them, which I guess why they are causing problems.
Here's my workflow:
Filmed on Sony Z1 at 1080i (50i)
Captured into Adobe Premiere (I've tried 1.5.1 and I've also bought CS5 to see if that works, but still the same problem!)
Project Settings - 1080i (50i) - 25 fps - Upper field first - 1440 x 1080
Capture settings - HDV - Cineform HDV 1080i 25.00
Movie export settings - Quicktime - Motion JPEG B - 1920 x 1080 - 25 fps - Square pixels - 97% quality - Upper field first
I play them back in Quicktime and even MPEG streamclip and there is lots of Ghosting. Can anyone help me please?
I've made sure Frame Blending is not ticked.
Thanks
Andy

No, I haven't downloaded it - Does CS5 not come with it built in?
Forgive my ignorance, but what do I do with it after I've downloaded it?
Thanks so much for your help - This is driving me crazy!

  • Poor quality on movie after exporting it from Premiere Pro CS5.5

    Hi!
As a part of my bachelor thesis in industrial engineering, I am making an animation that shows how different types of water turbines work.
The animation it self,  I've created in a program called Autodesk Inventor. From Inventor I get an uncompressed video. This video is usually not possible to open directly, but when I convert this with FreeMake video converter, it works
    Conversion in FreeMake:
    From:
    RAWVIDEO
    1280 * 720
    16:9
    663,554 Kbps
    30 fps
    To:
    . Avi, mpeg4
    1280 * 720
    16:9
    3283Kbps
    30fps
The video looks great now, but now when i have finished editing the film in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 and exported it, the lines are very blurred and bad. I've attached a picture showing what I mean. I have tried many different settings in Premiere, but i cannot get it any better.
The picture on the left is after exporting, the image on the right is after converting it in FreeMake Video Converter.
Have tried with the flicker removal, but with poor results.
Does anyone have any tips on what I can do?

Thank you for the warm welcome
Yes, the video from autodesk is uncompressed avi. These files are impossible to import in Premiere, and i cant open them in either VLC or WMPlayer.
After a conversion with FreeMake VideoConverter they are possible to import, and they look very good in VLC.
    My Sequence settings are:
    Editing mode: HDV 720p
    Timebase: 29.97 frames/second
    Video:
    Frame size: 1280*720
Pixel Aspect ratio: Square Pixels (1.0)
    Fields: No fields (progressive scan)
    Display format: 30fps Drop-Frame Timecode
    Audio:
    Sample Rate 48000Hz
    Display format: Audio samples
    Video Previews
Preview File format: I-Frame Only MPEG
    Codec: MPEG I-frame
    With: 1280
    Height: 720
Maximum bit depth and Maximum render quality is checked.
I have tried with a variety of export settings, but my current ones are:
    Output:
    Format: Quicktime
    Video Codec: H.264
    1280*720, 29,97 fps, Progressive, Quality 100, 48000Hz, Stereo, H.264
    Aspect: Square Pixels
    Render at maximum depth
    Depth: 24bit
    Use maximum render quality.
One thing I find quite strange is that i have to short clips at the beginning, which both seem fine.

  • Can't watch movie after export for web

    Hello,
I purchased QuickTime Pro 7.4.5 and exported my first avi movie for web.
In the local disk the ReadMe.html example works fine.
But copying all files to a web folder in my web site, the browser can play just the .3gp format. The .mov and .m4p files seem being unreachable.
The web ReadMe.html example shows the jpg poster, but clicking on "Click to Play", after a while, Firefox shows the QuickTime logo with an interrogation mark (IE simply shows a black rectangle).
Here you can evaluate my test: http://www.astrogb.com/movies/Nebrodi/ReadMe.html
Since I am still, I'll greatly appreciate any help.
    Regards,
    Giovanni

Your link is no longer working
I have had similar problems embedding QuickTime and am currently looking for the solution. In the meantime, one fix that I have found is to amend the included script files in the header of your html:
You must go to the following URL and download these three files:
    http://www.apple.com/library/quicktime/scripts/ac_quicktime.js
    http://www.apple.com/library/quicktime/scripts/qtp_library.js
    http://www.apple.com/library/quicktime/stylesheets/qtp_library.css
put them on your webserver, in the same directory as your "ReadMe.html" file (or whatever you renamed it).
    In your html file, replace:
    <script src="http://www.apple.com/library/quicktime/scripts/ac_quicktime.js" language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="http://www.apple.com/library/quicktime/scripts/qtp_library.js" language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <link href="http://www.apple.com/library/quicktime/stylesheets/qtp_library.css" rel="StyleSheet" type="text/css" />
    with:
    *<script src="qtp_library.js" language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"></script>*
    *<script src="AC_QuickTime.js" language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"></script>*
    *<link href="qtp_library.css" rel="StyleSheet" type="text/css" />*
This should enable the videos to work.
If you are still having trouble, your webserver may need to be configured with the correct MIME type for m4v, mp4.
You can see an example video that I have created here:

  • Damages sound of my movies after exporting, whatever the format ? any idea ?

Hello guys, every project I export (whatever the final destination : quick time, mac, Ipad, etc) comes out with a movie with a damaged sound for the whole movie. Basically, I use unprotected music from AAC or MP3 files, perfectly red in the orginal project. I checked the sound issues for every part (the green tip) and they are always valid. For information, video is great in the meantime.
As I'm a new on FCPX, maybe I missed a parameter or ....
    Can you help ?
    Thanx

    Works perfectly, thanks.
I realize the "Imovie look like design" isn't really appropriate as lots of media (pictures, sounds) should be converted specifically for FCPX.....

  • Audio and video out of sync after exporting sequence

I'm a FCP user since years, but not so common with HD footage. Therefore I have an issue with my finished edited movie after exporting: Video and Audio are out of sync.
    My sequence settings are: HDV1080i50, 25fps, 48kHz, 16bit, Stereo. I used File-> Export-> Quicktime Movie -> Current Settings
Sequence has a duration of 61 minutes and 38 sec. I tried to find out where's the problem and exported audio and video seperated. This results in:
Video is 61 minutes and 27 sec long
Audio is 61 minutes and 38 sec long
That means exported video is shorter than original sequence.
    What could that be ?

I had the same problem with a Panasonic camera, even filming at 30 fps. I was able to fix it; see [this thread|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1783029&tstart=0]. It's a frustating problem, to be sure. You might have to use Easy Setup a couple times before you get things to work properly. Not sure why that's the case.
    Good luck!

  • Poor quality after exporting

    Hi,
I'm quite new to Premiere Pro and am having problems with the quality of my movie after exporting it. It looks fine within Premiere Pro but once exported it's very shaky and it comes up with red flashes in random places.
When I export the movie, I go to 'Export to Encore' then 'Burn without menus' and select NSTC high quality.
The only thing I can think of is the original source files I am using. My camera only downloads as MOD files which I then convert to MPEG2 files.
I need to screen the video to around a 100 work colleagues at a function on Saturday so any help or suggestions would be most appreciated!!

    > The only thing I can think of is the original source files I am using. My camera only downloads as MOD files which I then convert to MPEG2 files.
Correct. Reshoot with a different camera or use different software, like WMM or PE, or anything that is consumer grade software.

  • Quality not the same after exporting movie made up of jpg images

Basically I made an animation sequence on Autodesk Maya and rendered the sequence as 2000 jpeg images each representing 1 frame, put it in one folder and on Adobe Premiere imported and dragged the folder into the timeline to make a moving image so in other words my video is made up of hundreds of jpg images.
Now on the editor it all looks HD and fine but when I export it via file > export > media, in order to match the sequence to the screen I must click on 'match sequence settings' which will snap the whole movie into the window rather than have it widescreen and once I do this I can't modify anything else such as codec, etc (codec is automatically set as MPEG -Frame and the output automatically is mpeg), is this normal? Why is it mpeg ajnd not avi...
So once I export the video with these settings (image uploaded) the quality is ok but not as good as what I see in the Premeire editor, why? What can I do to improve the quality?
On the other hand if I don't click on match to sequence settings and personally customise the paramaters such as avi, I use max settings for many things but after exporting my picture quality actually goes worse compared tomatch to sequence settings? (which has less parameters)
Why is this happening, all my jpeg images are high quality 720p and I should just be able to export it as normal...
I am trying to make a cut-scene to get into Unity so the codec is important as well.
How can I make my video best quality as possible being mpeg or avi? What settings do I need to play with?

Maybe I misunderstood, but did you actually put 2000 still images on the timeline? If so, there is another way. Go to Import and find your folder, and select only the first still in your sequence, then check the box at the bottom of the import windows that says "Numbered Sequence" or something like that. This will import the stills as a "video" clip.
Regarding Export, don't check Frame Blending or Max Render, the first being for a change of frame rate and the latter being useful for a downscale of the frame size. You are doing neither.
Also, never use "Match Sequence Settings". Leave that unchecked, and then choose whatever format YOU want to use for the export, whether .avi or H.264 or whatever.
    Thanks

We can not see your computer, your settings or even know what your source files are because we are not in the same room as you are!
We cant see what you are doing wrong ...so you will have to tell us a lot more and show us some screen grabs of your settings.

  • Motion tween created not works after exporting, but works in TEST MOVIE(ctrl+enter)

I am using adobe flash cs4 and actionscript3
my project consists several different layers using classic motion tween option available in flash cs4
my project works fine when I test the movie using Ctrl+Enter
but after exporting my animation remains stationary
If any one knows how to solve this please do reply me. It will be very helpful to me
Even it is a simple setting please do reply me .
    It is very urgent.
    thank u in advance

Are you using any ActionScript at all or is it all just motion on the timeline?
If you're not using any AS then you can try to add a little to force it to play. Just add a new layer at the very top. Click on the first frame (which shoudl be a keyframe - if it's not make it one) and press F9. This will open your Actions window. In the window type "play();" (without the quotes). Not sure if that will work or not but it's worth a try!
If you are using AS make sure you don't have a stop(); action anywhere that's not being controlled.
    Good luck!

  • What is the reason for this error? after export part of movie broken

hi, i cannot find the reason for this strange error that happaned to me for the first time, you can see the outcome here:
    http://picasaweb.google.com/p.cardash/IMovieBug/photo#5164317113276584274
after exporting in imovie to h264 .mov file, from HDV project, resolution is twisted, plus, the part that was supposed to fit hole screen, is black and sometimes with little graphic errors.
i tried about 10 times, with different setting, resolutions, and other parameteres.
after exporting for ipod, everything is ok, in m4v format.
what is wrong? i use the same method for creating and also for exporting, as in previous projects. i didnt use any new transitions, efects nor titles...
    any thoughts?
    best to You,
    Piotr

ok, i think that i know where is the problem, but i still dont what is it
ive copied my file to a new mac with just installed imovie and everything is the same, exactly the same output. so 100% positively the problem is within the particular project.
i didnt check my mackbook with TT, since i dont have it and dont want to pay i thought its for free
i`ll try later to figure out what wrong and what part of the project is bad.
for now, i think i hate imovie again :)) piece of..
let me know how your case ended.

  • Poor audio quality after exporting to .MOV.

Voiceover in my video sounds crystal clear in the timeline but then thin and "rattley" after export when playing back with Quicktime player. Background music on other tracks always seems to be unaffected. Audio export set to AAC, 48 kHZ, Stereo. I must export to a Quicktime .mov format because it's the only file type that I can upload to YouTube without the color quality being distorted after upload. Adobe Updater says all of my programs are updated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How did you record the VO? is it a mono or stereo track, how are you viewing the export. Sometimes when just one section of the audio is wrong it is due to audio phase problems, I have not seen this with a vo before but it might be the issue. See:
Re: 1 of 2 audio tracks missing on certain browsers (h.264)

What settings are you using to export the video with?  I think 29.97fps is the only one that works with LR 5:
